Hi everyone,
I'm having a hard time using my data connection to syncronise my facebook, mail,... updates or browsing the internet/android market.
Here's what i've tried:
- Made sure Data enabled = actually enabled in the mobile network settings section
- Tried a program called: Data on Demand
- Tried other phones ==> and yes my data connection worked like a charm
Is there something that i've overlooked?
Oh btw: the phone is really fast, has a decent speaker, nice display, looks nice and soforth BUT I'm awaiting a stable Android (rom) version because i've had like 5 crashes of the 'lgHome app' in my first (half) day of use.
Thanks in advance!

Well this made my day! Forgot that I needed to change the APN's on my other phones aswell! Thanks a lot for reminding me !
sorry ~~~ reply the wrong post ~~~~
i want to reply the post "Original Browser hangs up..."
I would highly recommend LauncherPro! and if your willing to part with your pennys then the plus version is a good investment for the widgets + extra functions!
Can anyone suggest me some apps that can give you statistic on battery usage (I want something more detailed than the Battery Use menu in the Setting)
Preferably it can show you how much drain the phone use at current state and maybe it can also show you for each process as well
Thanks

Battery Monitor Widget Pro.....works perfectly well for me...
Betterbatterystats...2.00euros on market, free on XDA
battery monitor widget is the best.
Thanks, guys
I've tried battery monitor widget and it works for me. Will try betterbatterystats later
Cheers
I've tried them both.
batterbatterystats & battery monitor widget works great in pair to determine how your battery consumed & optimizing it.
I thinks i've found what i want. Solved

Oh cool.. ill go have a look at it and have a go...
I use DiskUsage aswell.
If you install the IO Filemanager too, you can jump to the highlighted folder in DiskUsage. Some other filemanager are also supported.
Regards
I didn't know that.. ...I was waiting for an update with that specific feature
Hi! This is the fastest rom that I tried so far, but I have a problem with it. Everything is smooth and fast, but there is no logs in Eclipse, when i try to connect to it. I work as Android developer and it is necessary to have logcat. I tried to flash tweaks that turns off (and on, neither work) Fast Dormancy Log Spamming Fix, but the problem is not resolved. Can somebody help to solve this?
Start GuesteOC, goto Tweaks-page, enable logging for screen on or simply just on.
Any of you guys found a way to disable screen-off animation in this ROM?
In cyanogenmod settings of.

Fast dormancy deactivation
Anyone able to deactivate fast dormancy on v2.0R version? Experience with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1425563?
Thanks for any hint,
i have pretty high battery drain on the gueste good bye rom...
1% per minute while browsing or using team viewer...
installed recommended baseband and made battery calibration.
also turned off ramhack and other tweak stuff
After a full charge, without even touching it, it drains the battery quite fast! Also I've been on a full Charge and not even an hour of screen time and already 65%. And I've only been using Talk and the xda premium app.
My current rom is aokp_galaxysmtd_jb_build-4
I would most appreciate it if any of you would suggest different kernels or roms or something that could help me with this situation.
Get the BetterBattery Stats app from the market. It gives a much more detailed view on what is eating your battery. I had a similar problem and helped me out with finding a bad app running in the background.

Thank you very much, I'm going to try it and let you know.
EDIT: I used the app, and it doesn't seem like any apps are running in the background other then the default apps such as calander, google search, clock, etc...
Likely it's just my faulty rom (AOKP). I will consider changing it. Thanks for the help btw!
I am running DarkyROM with a semaphore kernel. Really fast and great battery life.

Make sure to also check CPU states in the BetterBatteryStats app. When not doing anything your phone should go into deep sleep. If it doesnt, you can check the Kernel Wakelock en Partial Wakelocks in that app to see what is keeping your phone awake.
PS: I'm using X-Bean 3.0 rom with Semaphore kernel 2.6.1 and very happy with it.
