Since updating to KitKat 4.4.4 there is no confirmation voice when setting the alarm via Touchless Control. There was before. The voice works for everything else. Anyone else noticed this?

Whenever I receive a call, I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me. When I dial out, everything works fine.
A week or so ago, I tried experimenting with the cause and seemed to fix the problem when I uninstalled google voice. I tried using Voice again and sure enough have the problem again.
I only use Voice for voice mail and would really like to keep it... Is anyone else experiencing this?
Rooted stock rom, no google voice integration.

I am on the AT&T Variant of the Moto X and was wondering if anyone was having issue with Touchless Controls not working. It has been working fine since day one and I noticed today that it wouldn't work. I rooted using the Moto Root and then PwnMyMoto. When I boot, the option to use them is turned off and when I enable it I get no response from saying the keyword. If I try to retrain it, It will not respond to the "Okay Google Now" Attempts. I've verified that the mic is working fine and I've tried several different noise levels.
If anyone has a solution or suggestion, let me know to possible help people who have this issue

I'm having the exact same issues on my Verizon Moto X. I'm hoping you found a fix for yours or that someone can chime in
Tried a factory reset?
Hey guys,
I'm having this issue since I have activated the "Hotword detection from any screen" option in the Google Search: what happens is that when I activate the option related above, the microphone stops working for everything, it just works for "Ok Google" and everything you say to it, but it kills the microphone for everything else. I just realized that I was having that issue when I made a phone call and no one who I called could hear me... then I tried to send a Whatsapp voice message but it didn't recognize any word I said to it... Then I thought it was the "OK Google" option, so I deactivated for any screen and the microphone started to work like always, phone calls, whatsapp voice messages, everything the microphone was needed, it also works only with the "OK Google" from Google Search app activated.
Maybe this could be helpful:
I use the gString app and when I try to tune my instrument and the hotword detection from any screen is activated it says: "Failed to properly initialize the microphone of your device; the tuner will now close. This usually happens, when another misbehaving app is still holding a lock on your microphone, although it has already been backgrounded."
The question is, Does anyone have the same problem?? Is there a solution for that issue? I am using the official OMNIRom nightlies, I have installed the last GAPPS from PA-GAPPS, and of course I have updated them as they required it. I really love that option, it's very helpful for me. I will appreciate any help you could give me.
Thank you guys.

Using Voice dial over Google Now and Bluetooth, it seems to accept my commands, then do nothing with them. For instance, "call my wife" ..."Calling"...nothing. Never dialed or attempted to. It works about one in three times. Has anybody else experienced this?
I am on Nougat (latest update) and visual voicemail doesn't work for me. I get the notification but when I tap on it nothing happens. In the phone app I don't see anything related to the voicemails either, although I can see is turned on in the phone settings. This wasn't the case in Marshmallow. I'm on T mobile (USA). Anyone knows why this doesn't work?
