Use the firmware for the 2.16.654.4 update listed in the first post if you have the HK version. For the standard version use firmware for the 2.16.651.4 update, also found in the first post.

ok im on the non-hk it says If you have the non-HK handset & have not flashed HK firmware b4, you'll also need to flash the HK adsp firmware:1.54.654
then do I flash the non-hk 2016.654.4? I have not flashed any firmware as of yet.

Yes you can flash the non-HK version, then the ADSP firmware.

Full Firmware is the signed firmware from the OTA
Modified has stock recovery and boot.img/kernel removed and requires you to be s-off.
Most folks that are s-off use the modified...if you go the Full route you will have to re-flash twrp and may have trouble booting if the kernel is not compatible with the rom you are running.

thanks think I got it now.

ok I got everything updated now I have no data when roaming all settings are right on phone and still no data on roam any ideas???

nm I fixed it

Nordic 1.29.401.16 rom wanted!

Hi guys. I'm looking for the rom that came preinstalled on the Nordic HTC Ones. When I bought mine it came with 1.29.401.16 preinstalled and I want that back, in case I ever need to go stock. When I started tampering with my phone I didn't pay any mind to backing up the stock rom. It has to be completely stock and odexed. I do not want Mike's stock rom as that's for Europe, and I'm looking for a Nordic rom.
The reason I want the Nordic rom is because I want Nordic updates. Whatever base Mike uses has the cid HTC__001 which is a Europe cid.
If any Nord could help me out, I'd be most appreciative.

xxx.401.xxx is WWE . not nordic not central not east.
there isn't a base only for HTC_001. 401 is for 001 and another 12 cids. so no. there is no nordic stuff. it is WWE for europe unbranded devices

Uh, okay? Which means what, exactly?
I'm looking to return my device to stock as it came when I bought it and it had the update 1.29.401.16 installed. When I went to stock last time and I used the Europe RUU, I could only get to 1.29.401.12 via OTA, and not .16 as I had hoped. Which is odd.
The RUU I used last time was called "RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13.3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed"
OTA went only up to .12. Newer phones came preinstalled with .13 or .16. For example my phone came with .13 preinstalled. When I ruu-ed I only got .12 update.
so you are safe. you will get the 4.2.2 OTA when it will be released.

Instead of having to use the RUU to flash, can I just flash mike's 1.29 and flash the recovery image in fastboot, set S-ON and then relock using revone?
Or is it necessary to use the RUU?

yes just get odexed version, return to stock recovery. you don't need to go back to s-on nor to lock your device again. just make sure the rom is pure stock and odexed and your recovery is stock

Ah, okay. Gonna lock it and S-ON though. I can S-OFF and unlock in seconds anyways.

Need your help

Hi guys, I need your help. I have an HTC One from Bell Mobility. I have done the full GPE conversion on it but have since got a Nexus 5 so I want to sell the One but need to get it back to a Sense ROM that will get OTA's. Whether it be Bell or Dev Edition or International. But I can't get an RUU to install. Right now the phone is GPE 4.3 not rooted with custom recovery. It was on stock recovery when I was trying to install the Dev Edition RUU but I got error 155. So I relocked the bootloader and tried again and again I got error 155.
What can I do to get a stock RUU to install?
Thanks
Mate, flash a firmware like 3.62 or 2.24, use the guru reset and after relock all
Thanks for replying, forgive me I don't know some of what you are referring to. What is the guru reset?
I see what you are referring to now, thank you. Had no idea this existed.
I'll give it a try.
Do you know which of the M7's listed are for the International version? What is the difference between a 2.24 ROM and 3.62?
Sorry for all the questions.

2.24 is android 4.2.2, 3.62 is android 4.3.
So, both are for International version and remember to flash a firmware with the same version of rom

Again thanks for the help, what do you mean by this last part? Flash 3.62 firmware to get 4.3?

Are you rooted? If so then you prolly have to do what I did a few days ago, I RUU'd . Then I updated to the .9 firmware then rerooted, I am s-off so I didn't go through htcdev again.
I think though*correct me if I'm wrong* that the .11 firmware is for the international version.

[Q] Confused about flashing firmware

Hello
I am still confused about flashing firmwares. I am S-OFF, but I read all the time about people bricking their phones when updating firmware. So here is my question.
My bootloader says HBOOT-1.44.0000 and RADIO-4A.21.3263.04.
Is it safe to flash for example 6.09.401.10 firmware with 1.57.0000 HBOOT? I am using international version of the phone.
Thank you.

It depends on the firmware .. some firmware are pulled from an OTA and are not as complete as a firmware pulled from a RUU.
to be safe the recommend route is to flash all the firmwares up to the current one, so if you are on 1.x.401.x now you would need to flash 2.x /3.x/4.x/5.x before continuing to the 6.x.401.x firmware.
Their is a shortcut - you could flash a 3.x/4.x RUU followed by the 5.x and 6.x firmware's

If your phone is S-OFF you don't need to relock the bootloader to flash the firmware. Never flash firmware that are not made for the M7 on your M7, this will brick your phone. In you case you can flash the 7.19.401.2 firmware and then flash the 7.19.401.22, 7.19.401.30 and 7.19.401.51 firmware patches incrementally.

Yo do realize the file posted above are Lollipop based firmware? Why flashing it if using Kitkat? You should always use the correct firmware for your android version for better performances and stability.
So I found
6.09.401.10
6.09.401.11
6.09.401.12
Should I flash those incrementally or just 6.09.401.12 ?

Better to flash the one that match your software version and make sure that you are using a complete firmware.zip file, not only a firmware.zip extracted from an ota update.
Is that complete firmware? https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982087019285
Contains 17 files.

it looks fine, but packed with twrp recovery instead of the stock recovery
So I flashed back KK firmware.
All went OK, but what I noticed coold boot is much slower than on LL firmware.
To double check I flashed LL again. All seems to be working fine on KK and LL firmware.
Thanks for help, Mike
