[q] xperia z1 dont power on :( - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a problem on my Z1, I can not power on by any means, neither fastboot or FlashBoot not work, but when I put a charger or USB cable it is lit at a red light, does anyone know how to solve?

Leave it to charge for a hour, maybe more.
Battery is completely depleted, it will turn on automatically after some time.

Have you tried doing a reboot using the red button that is right next to the sim card tray? If you have the z1s, open the cover of the sim card and right next to it you will see a red square button that you will need something like a paper clip to press it with. Just take the paper clip and straighten it out and long press on the button and that will reboot the phone. It's like doing a battery pull. Hope this helps.

[HELP] HTC One not turning on

Just wondering if anyone can help me out here..
My HTC is not turning on at all. I was using it fine, nothing was over heating and it was just in my pocket. I went to check on my phone and it was just off. Is there anything I can do, or possibly take it in for warranty. I have never owned a HTC so I don't know where to go for support. I am from Sydney Australia. Any help would be appreciated. I have left it on charge for 30 minutes - And nothing yet, not turning on

No lights or anytihng coming up? Try any button combinations, power and volume down, try it while the phone is not plugged in... report back with any findings.

It is unlocked and rooted.. Tried all combinations before posting this thread. Lights are not on at all when charging. At this point it seems dead, but the question is how?

Although when I hold the power down when plugged into my PC it makes the unplug sound and while still holding the power button long enough it has the plugged in sound. But nothing shows up on PC
Not sounding good at all. Hopefully someone else chimes in on this matter and has other ideas. Good luck.

Tried everything.. I bought this phone from Gumtree Australia a few months ago and that person got it from the Optus store via Contract I believe. But I don't have the Receipt however, I have the box and accessories and warranty stickers that come inside the box. Would I have to go through Optus store or is there a HTC One centre like they have Apple and Samsung centres/stores..
This question is probably only for Australian users
I heard of this before... Try plugging it into your computer and leave it for an hour. Then... (While still plugged in) hold it under a bright light and hold power + vol down, for a few minutes. I think this problem occurs because CWM allows the voltage to get too low for the phone to start. Good luck man

Well, when I heard this in another thread he said he fixed it by plugging it into the computer for an hour or so. Then the led turned red, then he put it into recovery and booted right into the ROM. Np hope it works out for you

The light has to be facing the phone. You can see the two sensors on the top left on the front, point the light there.
I fix mine by let it charge on wall plug for 4 days straight until red LED started to ON back..lets it charge for another 1/2 hr n press the power button to ON the device..weird..4 days just to gain back some juice due to battery completely die..

Phone won't start

I flashed latest elemental kernel with android revolution HD 31.0 rom yesterday and everything worked fine until this morning. I was on a call this morning and the phone shut down during the call and just won't start ( I have already tried pressing power button for a minute, power button _ up/down keys ). Phone had more than 50% charging when it died. Am I screwed or is there some way I can get the phone to power back on?
Please HELP !

Then you should be good, just charge it overnight (is the LED working?) and try booting it up in the morning.
Also, try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43579577&postcount=36105
and this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2481211

Appreciate the helpful links. Unfortunately none of those options have worked for me and I probably need to let it charge overnight to see if that works. The LED doesn't come on at all and so not sure if it's a different issue .
Also haven't tried charging in bright light today as we have bad weather today with dark skies and less light.

It is tough to understand what exactly happened but to me it sounds like he downloaded an older firmware rev and then took an OTA, which generally leads to the exact problem, a brick.

[Q] [HELP] My MotoG died today, for no reason. No boot or any notifications.

Hi everyone!!
Today, I woke up, and noticed that my Moto G 2nd Gen is died.
Honestly.. i don't understood what happened exactly. My phone was absolutely clean, no rom, no hacks, no strange apps, NOTHING!
Absolutely genuine and with just a few (famous) apps, like Tapatalk, Skype, Facebook etc..
Someone maybe knows what problem is it? Hope to receive help..
THANK YOU.
If it was completely clean I would send it back to Motorola for repair. It is the safest and best solution

Actually I can't do it. At the end of March I'll moving to another country.. so I'd like to try any solution to try to fix it now. As the last solution I'll try to repair it in that country.. but for now, you know, i'd like to try other options! I'm not sure yet that the phone is totally ****ed up! So my hope is still alive! ^^'

You could try another cord and/or charger if you have any laying about. That would be on the assumption that it ran down overnight. BTW, if it is completely dead, it may take a little before you get any indication of charging.
have seen it happen several times.
This fixes most of the time
In the unlikely event that your device becomes unresponsive, frozen, blank or black screen, or will not respond to the power button, you can perform a force restart or reboot on the device by following the steps below.
Press and hold the Power button for 7 - 10 seconds, the device will restart and go through the boot-up sequence.
Notes:
The forced restart or reboot will not delete any Data on your phone.
If completing the 7-10 second Reset does not recover normal functionality of the device, then press and hold the Power Button for a full 120 seconds while connected to a charger.

But I tried to press the power button, also in combination with VOL DOWN, and it still doesn't make any effect.

Did you try holding just the volume down and the power button for about 20 to 30 seconds? Don't hold the home button to. This basically performs a simulated battery disconnect.
