what is the misc battery tweak?

what is the effect of misc battery tweak?
I just enable this in CWM
The effect is that it causes users to post questions in development thread even though a q/a thread exists.
It cause your brain not enable to use search function in forums.

Pffff !
Great answer. Hope your others posts are more useful to android noobs than this one !
You're probably joking. A smiley would surely have softened your not so kind comment
maybe you should try the hardcore's speedmod-thread's faq...
Hmmm, be polite.
Guys, at least try to act like you're not just trying to increase your post count.
For instance, post a link to where "hardcore's faq" is. Also, not everyone reads the forums every hour to know who the hell hardcore is or where his FAQ is. Also, unless it says |OP| next to your name don't worry about chiding all the n00bs.
Really? If your using Misc Tweaks then your using something from Hardcore, if your not using Hardcores kernel then the dev of the kernel you are using "usually" post this in their first post using Hardcores Speedmod patch, its not that hard to search for either ...the link is in hardcores thread in his first post, theres even a thread of it own about this, try searching startup speed tweaks....

Many of you give XDA a bad name. "Many" includes noobs who don't search before asking a question and other "many" of you are the ones who boss around arrogantly and flaming the other "many". All of you had time to flame each other but no on could really close this thread by answering the query.
To OP, here is your answer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=813309
More specifically, "# Miscellaneous tweaks
Increase the write flush timeouts to save some battery life."
Wow there are people who don't know who hardcore is ? Man if you got a SGS than you NEED to know this! I mean a little bit basic information is not bad

Strange stuff for me:
If I enable this 'Misc battery weaks', auto brightness stops working, disabling it makes it work again.
In the thread mentioned it only says: 'Increase the write flush timeouts to save some battery life.'
It is even a little worse, for instance in Quick Settings app I cannot even change brightness manually (has no effect) if I have that tweak enabled.
Can anyone confirm this?

Is there an easy way to input charge sound

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Do you mean you want to change the sound when the USB or charger is connected?
Nice one.. I want it just gone From what I have learned so far, in framework or ui .apk there are the files that you can change.
Or do you mean something completely different
what do you want? explain more please a question in the topic line is not sufficient
Moved to Q&A
Please post in the correct section. This is for themes and apps. Questions go in to the Q&A Section

Or u could have posted this bug in the rom thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000828
If there were no rules I could have said profanities but I can't. The q&a thread is so obvious now. Its at the first page and right at the top of the development forum
EDIT: Your problems are not even urgent or important. And this is not even a bug, its just that cm10 doesn't have the option to lower the intensity. If you want to lower it badly, go flash shadowrom or any other ROM that supports it.
my friend running cm10 does have the option ...its just that he has a galaxy s not a s plus ...maybe you meant this but ok im sry for posting in wrong forum

Yeah i tried but it didn't let me because I'm a noob and the JellyBlur thread is a dev thread and it didn't let me.
So u have a solution for ultra brightness in JellyBlur, which is an really awesome ROM?

10-post rule. to minimize spam in dev threads.
and i believe op posted in the correct section. dev threads are for bug reports afaik. unfortunately i haven't used that rom. it's not in settings>display>brightness?
Just because i don't doesn't mean i can't.

Not it is not in settings>display>brightness.Sometimes there are extra cm settings and there should be also display settings.
The ROM is really great.I used minjb which was also good but sometimes it laaged or hung.So I gave up hope for JB on my x8,also ICS were really laagy and I was just ready to go to gingerbread, but then I tried JellyBlur and it worked amazingly fast and stable.
The only bad is the ultra brightness which I used sometimes outside on sunny days.Normal high brightness is not enough
I looked for some apps, like torch and others but it seems that the raised brightness has to be implemented in source
yes. i scanned through the rom thread amd it seems the op did not implement it.
Just because i don't doesn't mean i can't.

yeas he tryed but , but he just answered how to toggle between the brightness modes.
In knew that,in fact I use the power widget in the notification drawer toggle between brightness stepps.
I think he didn't understand what I meant.
I ment the ultra or raised brightness option like in most CM ROM's which would raise brightness over 100%.Sure it would dryn battery faster but east least I would see something on the display on a sunny day. With 100% I have to hide like a vampire
This is from my theard Jelly Blur
t is a pity that the faster you did not write about it because now I have x8 and hard for me to say from memory but maybe this:
Add the widget where there are options to turn on the GPS, WI-FI not so pretty on the right side you see this icon 'light' and finger on the click, and then change the brightness for example,
-automatic,
Half brightness
-low brightness
that's it

Here is something which I stumbled over.
*ultabrightnees is not on the ROM but you can replace the settings.apk from nAa cm10 with the rom settings.apk
This is a comment from another ROM maker http://yairpatch.com/blog/2013/06/zx8-xperia-z-rom-for-xperia-x8/
Did not try that but I think it will solve the problem.

about [ROM][4.4][NIGHTLIES]OmniROM ?

hello i can't post question in [ROM][4.4][NIGHTLIES]OmniROM[Xperia T][mint] i dont have persmission.... my question is i install the 4.4 rom with succes of the 28/11/2013 and i found 3 rom from 28/29/30/1 décembre what is the difference betwenn my old rom and the new rom please
'Nightlies' means the rom is built each day, so the last fixes and developments are integrated in it. Generally, these have not been thoroughly tested, so there is a chance that these updates might break functionality.
In order of stability, nightlies are least stable, then beta, then rc, then stable. Generally speaking
Nightlies mostly don't feature a changelog, but you can check the developer's 'gerrit'. I am certain a link has been posted in the Omni thread.

flickering screen
Hello People from XDA i Also got a question about the Nightlies Omnirom
i have installed the rom but there is 1 problem i am having with it
when i want to search for something in chrome or play store
mij screen starts flickering
and with flickering i mean screen turns completely black
or only the keyboard disappears
did anyone els have this problem or can think of a solution
i have installed it today everything by the book
and used gapps 4.4.2-20131215

It has been said many times in the OmniRom thread how to solve the flickering screen, just read the thread, or search for 'flicker' in the thread. Hint: search the thread for 'overlay'...
