I bought my Mi3 on 12th August. It was working perfectly till last week.
I tried to call my friend on skype last week and found that the front cam is not working. It is now showing random black lines on white screen. I tried a lot of camera apps and none of them are working.
Can anybody help me with this? Is this a firmware issue or is there something wrong with the hardware? What should I do to get it fixed?
I am attaching a pic taken using my front cam.

hi
few days back im facing problem with my s pen as when ever I use my s pen its star working without touch on screen which make trouble while writing anything on s note as its get mess up my all things I can able to write properly nor use my s pen properly for cropping , editing photo etc due to this...
Today I used another s pen on my note and its working fine... problem is with my S pen only
Any fix for this..

Turns out it was the pen dying. Got a replacement on eBay for a couple of quid and all fixed..

Its very risky. I would absolutely discourage you from doing it yourself. My suggestion is to send it in for repair. I got mine in 3 days

How risky? I'm not the original owner of this phone nor am I in the country that it was purchased in. so I don't think I can send it in.

Anyone else experience this? Ive had the ATT s6 for about 3 months now and i opened the camera up today and i got a strange buzzing/vibrating sound coming from the camera and the focus goes crazy for a bit. Then once in focus it seems to stop. I could only imagine its coming from the ois. Any thoughts?

Update* brought the phone to a ATT Device Support Center.. The women that help had never before seen this issue. Since it was hardware related they replaced it with a brand new s6 right then and there. Would have been up to 7 days if they were to send a replacement unit if i did it over then phone. So i would highly recommend if any has this issue or any other issue bring it to ATT Device Support Center!!

Sorry havnt been on here since they replaced it but yes she heard the noise from the camera seemed really shocked actually and replaced it on the spot.. she didnt even question if it was my fault or anything just gave me a new phone

Well i just got my sony xperia z3 dual sim and when i checked the camera its too blurred and stuff, but when i take close pictures its sharp and clear the problem is its too blurry if you take somehow far. Is there wrong?
I think a problem is in focus. Camera doesn't have time to focus or something's wrong with a camera. When in camera app, try to tap on a screen anywhere (it's going to do manual focus).
Nothing happens if i tap, a little gray square appears but doesnt focus the object

Is camera lens cover cleaned? I think that I had a similar issue with other phone and finally was dirt on the lens that wasn't appreciate taking pictures.

I had the same problem. I send it to Sony for repair and get a new phone instead after 2 weeks, cause they couldn't repair it.
Upload pictures so we can see the problem

If you haven't unlocked your bootloader and your camera quality is still blurry send it back to Sony, they'll either clean the lens ( or replace it if you still have warranty )

If cleaning the lens doesn't solve it and you still have warranty they would probably replace the lens free of charge but that's a worst-case scenario
Does anyone know if the Pink/Purple camera issue affected all M7's or was this sorted out with later production runs?

No. Only first models had that issue. Model produced after september 2013 should not have that issue. If phone's serial number starts with HT34 (or SH) or similar it is most likely to have purple camera. Serial numbers like HT39 or later are produced after september and should not have any camera issues.

I really like my M7 but it's having issues and a broken screen.
As i can buy a new one for $150.00 I thought I'd just replace it.
Would love the new HTC 10 but no FM radio is a deal breaker for me.

Your is made in August. Too bad that you are having camera issues. Mine is HT37 but looks like the previous owner repaired the phone, so I got lucky as my camera works perfect.
