[Q] viber app problem in xperia z

hi i did install viber app to xperia z half of the sticker not displaying did flash the phone two time with rom Aur and also stock but no luck pls help some one have this problem thanks in advance

another problem with xperia z, if you are talking via viber from the external speaker, once you finish your call the sound and notification will com out of the calling speaker not the external speaker. i hope could fix those issues in the next release.

I had exactly same problem as you did, bit it looks like it is Viber problem. My wife had same thing on hers SII and SIII. Viber uninstalled till bug free version don't come out.

I have exactly the same problem on my xperia z. Really annoying!

Did any of you contact viber devs because it might be their fault

Same issue on my xperia Z, hope they fix it soon (not rooted).

For me I didn't even get there with bugs yet.. Am still trying to find out Why I can't define the normal missed calls from the viber ones! Can anyone understand what am talking about? How can I solve this?
my phone is Xperia Z C6602.

Viber installation problem for Sony Xperia Z
Hi, I have a new Sony Xperia Z, and I downloaded the Viber app. After typing in my phone number, I was notified that an SMS was on its way to me, only this never happened. Even after getting support from my phone supplier, I am getting nothing. I was told at one of the stores that I have my contract for the phone with, that is was maybe due to the phone being so new! On this website, I see many people already using Viber on their Sony Xperia Z, Can you help?

A while ago I had an HTC one X running viper x rom, this rom had a neat feature of having four sound enhancements when your headphones are plugged-in in the notification area which were Beats, Dolby, SRS, Xloud and none/off. The sound enhancements were great on that rom and that is one of the things I miss the most about it and I wondered if it could be made to work for the sony xperia z or if there is an existing thing similar or the same as this. thanks

I think the Xperia Z sounds great. I listen to metal and this phone sounds kick @#$ to me. Try these settings if you want, they work for me song after song. I never use the built-in speaker for music, but this sounds good on my headphones and stereo.
Clear Bass +10
Surround Sound (VPT) Studio
Clear Stereo Off
Clear Phase Off
xLOUD Off
Dynamic Normalizer Off
-3 -2 -1 -3 -5

Well, while it isn't advised to run more than one soundmod at a time, if you install RomAur you can select more than one soundmod (HTC One Beats, PureXaudio) and then flash AC!D soundmod ontop of it all. works nice for me. Also +1 to those equalizer settings, I use a similar setup for metal and it's ****ing niiice.

I quit trying different sound mods back when I had my Galaxy S3. It's horrible sound is what drove me to the Sony Xperia Z, and I have loved how this phone has sounded ever since. (I use it for 90% media player, 10% phone)
Although it does take a little tweaking in the settings to get superb sound, Do you really feel that any of these sound mods improve the sound, and if so, which one(s) would you recommend ?

only ever had good experiences with Purexaudio. there's also an miui rom floating around that has viper sound on it and that's ****in awesome.

Beats was good on my htc one x running viper x rom but the others didnt make much difference

Imo the best sound mod i had on my one x was KingBeatz which actually works on pacrom for the xperia z if you go to the htc one x page for it, i asked him to port it but he said it'd work as is, and it did. sounds nice.

Yeah but keep in mind my settings suit my music and my ears, all equalizers need to be fine-tuned per device, person, and music, but, I have tried the xperia z by itself, I tried a couple of the sound mods hear in the past week, and one thing is for sure, on this phone, they are all capable of sounding great, always, with a little tweaking !!!!

Could always try my soundmod for the xperia Z, just if you're on 4.3 replace DSP manager with the DSP manager from pac or cm.
should work fine after that, ignore that it says discontinued, i just couldn't be stuffed adding the new dsp manager.

Battery Drain too fast, NEED HELP

Do You have any app using battery alot in "battery managment" in settings??
If the phone getting hot from the battery side (center of the back panel) so there is something may be really wrong
And if the heat come from the CPU side(near camera) so there is app running at background and use the battery,
Try factory reset, if not helped flash a stock rom with flashtool

Yes but you cant do that yourself you need to take it to sony service center and tell them whats the problem.
If you have warrenty so the repair will be for free but if not so you need to pay for it.
No its not very expensive! Max price will be 50$

Your wifi is showing as on there? Do you have location based wifi on? Turn it off.
Also, do you know about Google services draining battery? Make sure GPS is off, stop the service, unintelligible updates to Google play services & reboot.

Did your phone feel warm when it is turned off? And does it take a very long time to turn it back on after the battery completely drained? I think we have the same problem

for my phone, OFF the phone is dont warm for the phone, but the battery problem still drain when ON back the phone

[Q] Xperia Z broken touchscreen

Hi guys,
My XperiaZ has two cracks in the upper end of its touchscreen all of a sudden. I was just operating the phone and then it happened.
Is this a known issue maybe? I can't even backup my stuff now since the touchscreen won't respond properly anymore..

It has been reported a few times. Try to contact Sony about it! If you want to backup your stuff and adb is disabled, connect a mouse to your z.

Use a cable called OTG CABLE and just plug it and plug the mouse and BOOM!

Hey OP, just wanted to let you know that the same thing happened to me. Two hairline cracks on the screen out of nowhere! Rendered half the touchscreen useless. Sent it to Sony, they honored my warranty! The coolest thing is they even replaced the external speaker with an updated unit (possibly the one in the Z1/Z2? Also they didn't mention it in the Statement of Work, but i'm sure they've changed it) and now it's actually quite loud! I've always had a good experience with Sony. You should really send your device in for evaluation, you'll be surprised!

I've searched the forum and only found an old thread with some dead links, with no word on CM11 compatibility.
The sound indoors is tolerable, but outside I can't hear a word.
Is there any recent tool/hack/way to boost the in call volume?

Install a kernel that support the audio control
Then download a kernel control app like tricklester mod and set the sound of all speakers you want
