[Q] Xposed installer not installing on Galaxy S5 - Xposed General

When I try to install Xposed on AT&T Galaxy S5 (with a 128GB SD), I get an "App not installed".
I have allowed "Unknown Sources" in Security.
Device is rooted with towelroot
I have tried it with the last 3 versions (obtained from the repo) and with 3 different apk installers.
S Health & knox have both been uninstalled.
I have successfully manually installed other apk's before (I was also able to install Xposed on a Galaxy Tab S tablet)
Anybody has the same problem ?

Possibly relevant...I had xposed framework installed and working, but I uninstalled it to install SafeStrap, and now I can't get the framework to reinstall... Att variant gs5.

Xposed Framework won't activate, need help

I tried to install the Framework for hours, nothing worked. No matter what I do, the Xposed installer still say that "the current Xposed-Version isn't active. Dou you installed the framework and rebooted the device?" (roughly translated). In the Framework Tab, both app_process and XposedBridge.jar is active/green (Version 58 / 54). I already tried to uninstall, reinstall, all three install options and a toggle.zip I found here., nothing makes a difference.
I'm using an Huawei Ascend G525-U00 with Android 4.1.2 and Kernel 3.4.0-perf-gf909b34-etc. etc., it's rooted via Kingo SuperUser.
I'm absolutely out of ideas. I strongly need Xposed to use XPrivacy....
Go to xposed framework setting and enable disable resource hook/api .reboot your device and xposed should be activated. But theirs a problem, modules which try to change ui will not work. Click thank you if I helped.

Xposed installer crashes on opening any module in the download section

Hello!
I have a problem described in the topic.
My device is Samsung GS4 Active running stock 4.4.2 KK, rooted.
Until yesterday I had a working Xposed installer (2.7experimental) with half a dozen modules, namely: Amplify, AppOpsXposed, Lucky patcher, One++, Vk hack and of course Wanam Xposed.
And yesterday I got rid of all the Google stuff. Deleted all Google *** apps, including GP market and GP services. Migrated to 1Mobile Market.
And after that Xposed installer (itself, not the modules) started to crash on doing the following:
1) start Xposed installer, 2) click Download section, 3) click ANY module there including the framework itself.
So I get "Unfortunately, Xposed Installer has stopped".
The error log does NOT have anything about the crashes.
What has been done to avoid this behavior:
- cleared dalvik-cache
- wiped cache partition
- uninstalled an installed back different versions of Xposed installer (2.6.1 & 2.7experimental)
- activated and deactivated all 6 modules installed
Luckily, ALL the modules work perfectly, they have been successfully activated in Xposed installer every time I reinstalled the app.
So my question is: does anyone know what to fix so to make the Installer open the modules in Download section without crashes.
Thank you in advance. Sorry for my English

Found your old question after having the same problem, with no answer. Later, I realized (from reading xposed installer logs) that the problem was me previously "integrating into ROM" (with Titanium) what is called "Android System Webview" app.. I had problems "undoing" the integration, ended up re-installing it from the Market... but now it works.
So I'm leaving this here: if the installer closes on opening stuff in Modules tab, check your WebView.
Hello friends, I'm running Marshmallow 6.0 on my Oneplus One phone and I need xposed framework... but after flashing it (xposed-v89-sdk23-arm), my phone app stopped working, no access to contacts, favorites... nothing! I tryied even with xposed-v88-sdk23-arm version, but the same.... No phone app access. So, I cannot use my phone with xposed framework flashed on it! Will anybody help me solve this horrible problem, please? Thank you.
almost same question here. My sdk is 22
Running xposed installer after installation makes my phone to soft-reboot
Try force stopping Xposed Installer app, then clear cache and data for app, then restart app and see what happens. Also ask in section for your phone model/ROM if still happening.

The posts #3-5 should be in different threads, but i have the same problem as OP, an old device with Android 4.4.2, XI 2.6.1. XI will stop/crash when i try to open any module in the download section.
Also have Titanium backup installed... but i have no app called "Android System Webview". Is it something i should install for Xposed Installer? I never had this problem before but haven't updated for a while, so i'm trying to get some things updated. Thanks
I finally found that the problem was that I had Download Manager disabled. Enabling/(defrosting it with Titanium) has allowed XI to work again!

Hi, I'm on Android 6.1 on a Samsung Galaxy S5.
I use the twrp-3.2.1-0-klte version
I can not install the xposed framework
Says so:
xpose is not (yet) compatible with the version of android sdk 23 or the architecture of its processor (armeabi-7Va).
CONNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: library "libdvm.so" not found.
I have the device rooted with the odin method. I want to hide the root to play pokémon go.
You don't need any recovery. Try to Magisk method of installing:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268/page1
After that, you can use option "Magisk hide" for hide PokemonGo and for example Android Pay very simply.
Cheers

[CONCERN] [HELP] Xposed makes apk files corrupt

I have a concern. I recently figured out that with magisk. I was trying to install apk files with xposed enabled (no modules enabled/installed) and it always said the apk was corrupted. I disabled xposed right after I discovered it, and the apk could install. I wonder if there could be a fix for this. Thank you and have a good day!
General Information:
Device- LG Stylo 2 plus T-Mobile (lgk550)
Magisk version- 20.4 (20400)
Magisk Manager Version- 7.5.1 (267)
Xposed Framework version- 89
Xposed Installer Version- 3.1.5

HushSms Do not Work on Edxposed or LSposed

I have tried Edxposed and LSposed with Riru on Android 10 (Samsung A30) and 8.1 (Samsung j7 Prime), HushSms can not send Class 0 SMS. Then I tried Xposed from Magisk modules it also did not work because it says Xposed Installed but not Active" (This happen on my device because It is Samsung J7 Prime (Probably because of A/B partitions))". So I manually Installed exposed through exposed installer app. It worked amazingly.
So It proves there is some issues in Edxposed and LSposed that is why they can not send Class 0 SMS even they show Green message like properly installed in their respective manager apps. But they do not actually provide full functionality as compared to former Systemless Xposed Installer.
I managed to get it working with LSposed on my OnePlus 8 Pro rooted with Magisk running Android 11 (I've also flashed systemrw_1.32 for other reasons but I'm not sure if that made any difference here).
First you need to install LSposed through magisk, then install the HushSMS apk. Then enable the module through LSposed and give it access to system framework and all system apps (I'm sure some aren't needed but I haven't gotten a chance to see which are and aren't yet). Then you need to install the old xposed installer apk and run the app. It will say xposed is not installed, but this is fine. It seems the HushSMS apk itself just checks to see if this app is installed. Finally, you can reboot and it should work fine.
Also after installing the old xposed installer, you should see "HushSMS (version #) using Xposed Framework" in green at the top of the app if it's working.

You are a star sir!
I'm so glad I came across your post, I can confirm I have managed to get it working on my Samsung S20+ Android 12 with LSPosed Zgisk
I didn't need to install the systemrw, all I did was install the old xposed installer apk and gave access in LSPosed to system framework and a few other by typing "com.samsung" in search.
Thank you so much. ☺
