Microphone and screen-on issues

Hi all,
I've come across a couple of problems with the phone that I've put down to manufacturing, but I'm not really seeing anyone else complain about them. I'd just like to see if anyone else is experiencing these issues or if I should have my phone replaced under warranty.
Issue 1: Microphone.
During a call, people can hear me clearly, but if I switch to speakerphone (or use an app like Skype or Viber, which usesspeakerphone for video calls), they have trouble hearing me. I know there is an issue where the mic stops working for some people, but mine is still working...only I sound very faint to the other person. If I bring my face right up to the phone and speak, they can hear me somewhat clearly, but it defeats the purpose holding it to my face when I'm in a video call.
Issue 2: Screen touches during a call.
I've noticed that when in a regular call, the screen turns off when I bring the phone to my face, and turns back on as I pull the phone away, which is fine. The problem is though, that while the screen is off and pressed to my ear, shortly after the light of the screen turns back on and it seems I've been pressing things with my ear, e.g. pulled down the notification shade, opened an app on my home screen or opened my app drawer, etc. Is anyone else noticing the screen turning back on mid-call? Or does anyone know if the screen still responds to touches even though the backlighting is off? Or is this an iPhone 4-esque situation where I'm "holding it wrong"?
Thanks guys
I take it the lack of responses means that no one else is experiencing the issue and that I should swap it under Warranty :/

Never faced any of such issues with my nexus. You should go for a replacement

[QA] Phone randomly mutes when on calls

Hopefully someone else has encountered this issue and fixed it:
I'm on a call and the mic will randomly mute and the caller cannot hear me. The phone hasn't muted but selecting and deselecting the mute icon doesn't fix it leaving me no other option but to hang up and call back. Along with this it looks as if the proximity sensor is whacked out where my cheek will push so many buttons but I haven't moved at all.
I appreciate any help you can give.

Caller can't hear me through watch

When receiving calls, I can hear the caller through my watch, however, the caller can't hear me. I have the answer call through watch option toggle, yet the caller still can't hear me through my watch. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.
I know this is an old topic but I'm sure the OP and myself aren't the only two to have had this issue. Just below the top button on the right side of the watch there should be a tiny hole. If it is plugged take a very small sewing needle and very gently dig out what's in there. DO NOT PUSH VERY DEEP AT ALL.

I don't have this issue on my phone. Maybe try calibrating the proximity sensor in the HW test menu(*#*#64663#*#* in the dialer).
If that doesn't work maybe turn on the option of "power button ends call" under accessibility settings as a temporary fix while you search for a fix.

I am also facing the same problem.
I am also facing the same problem.
If you find any solution please do let us know.
same. i'm on havoc
I think you should get your display replaced
I think it an issue with the display. I faced a similar problem where my display was registering touches during calls and most of the time my microphone got muted because of it. I took it to the service center and got my screen replaced & now the problem is gone.
