Charging while turned off displays 24hr time - Samsung Gear 2 Neo

Well, the other day i turned off my G2N and plugged it in to charge, then i noticed the time displays on 24hr military time,
Has anyone noticed this as well?

I'm guessing you have 12 hour on it normally?

Yes. Correct

Okay, after looking, I changed my phone to show 12 hour, and when I turn the watch off, mine is 24 hour also....weird. I wonder if there is a way to change that on a rooted watch. I don't mind it, since I use 24 hour anyway.

How long shall i....

Afternoon,
just got the HD7. How long do i need to charge it for? i'm dying to play with it
30 mins should be enough then leave it charging while you play with it.
Mine had a couple of hours battery life out of the box. It seemed to take longer than my HD2 to reach a full charge the first time.

I'm on the train home and sooooo want to play with it. People are giving me weird looks with 2 4.3" phones sitting in front of me....
I'll probably end up charging it for an hour once I get home. Still not sure about it though! Thank god for O2's 14 day rerun period! Hah

I think you are right. I have played with the phone for about 15 minutes and I am happy thus far. The screen is lush, the response is amazing and the keyboard. Well......eat your heart out Iphone

WOW! Is anyone else's battery this GREAT?

So... My Mom got her One about a week ago, today I took a look at the power menu all I can say is WOW this definitely sealed the deal for me...
Three days on battery... I know that she plays word search type games for at least a half an hour daily, she talks A LOT and she CONSTANTLY checks/syncs the THREE e-mail accounts on her phone... I am just amazed...
I'd love to see a screen shot of her history

Ive not yet pulled 3 days out of it yet but I can get 2 days easy. regular usage of web browsing, phone calls/texting and lots of Blinkfeed lol.
I'm sorry, but that's far from the norm.
There are always people who claim to have all this amazing battery life, but most of it is rubbish. A day, just over...that's what you should expect at best if you're actually using your phone.

ahaha me too, I can pull about 10 1/2 hours with 4 hours screen time and that's about as good as it gets, but that's with playing music and web browsing a bit as well.
If my phone can last me from the time I take it off the charger in the morning to the time I put it back on when I go to bed, which it usually does, I'm content. And that's with me messing with it all day, and at least 6 hours of streaming music.
I can get a day and a half out of mine. That being said the half day part doesn't do me a lick of good so he gets charged every night regardless.

I'm getting excellent battery life. Lasts all day easily and most of the way into the night. On average it needs to be charged after 19-24 hours.
Check to make sure you're not running any hungry background tasks.
This is the first phone I've had since the existence of 4G LTE that I haven't had to put on the charger every single night. I'm thrilled with the battery life on this phone.

Sorry about not posting the ss, I have to get around to it later...
To all the Naysayers:
I just posted this because I found it a bit weird, she has been using it quite a bit, she has used 93 minutes off our plan as of this morning and that is in just a week.
EDIT: She is CONSTANTLY deleting running apps so that is probably a good portion of it.
Also, one more thing, in her settings under about it says "Hardware Version 0004" what is this and does any of your devices say different?
Thanks,
Kwongger

I didnt mean to come off as a nay sayer at all...I can prolly get 3 days if i didnt use the phone is all. Would love to see her history on app usage though....maybe they put some juiced up uber battery in hers lol.
0004 just shows which round of hardware the phone was built on. Mine as well as most should say 0004.
Terrible signal running kingdoms of Camelot at work. Plus music all day has me sitting at 8 hours haha. 8% currently.

YAY! Screenshots!
Here you go!
3 days is far from the norm, and the battery monitor is EASILY fooled, all it takes is a partial charge. My girlfriend's mom just got the galaxy the other day and I went over to help her with her car BT, took a quick glance at the battery monitor for kicks and it said she was on something absurd like 5 days and I knew something was off. Turns out she didn't charge her phone at night, just sporadically during the day, and it had never charged to 100%.
I'm getting around 14 hours until I hit 20%, and this is with HEAVY usage...taking pictures, using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blinkfeed, playing games, etc, all on 4G. So the battery life IS pretty nice.
good here

I charge my phone every night so I don't know exactly how long it'll go, but I think I've only ever dropped below 50% once, and that was the first day, and HTC Connect was acting all screwy. Had used over 60% in the monitor. Love it!

[Q] Set data info

Motorola Atrix HD. In data usage there is a graph that show data usage. OK, I just got this phone from a friend and did a factory reset on it. He was using ATT, I am using consumer Cellular. The dates on the graph show starting on 23rd. My data usage starts on 1st. How can is reset the date to start the usage on the 1st?

OK, I found Data Usage Change. That change only let me change day. I changed to 1st. Now I slide the bars and with the left one all way left and right one all way right it reads Dec 1 2013_Jan 1 2014. I'm still doing something wrong. In the data set it doesn't give a year to set. Does it take a while for the year to change. I would the year would change fast.
The cycle begins on the 1st if you have it set to the first. The day determines the cycle, not the yr. Your bill will look the same way, so not sure where this is going?

No, exactly the same size as the original battery. As well as power capacity is much longer than the original. As the name implies double power battery.

You should post battery backup usage later on
Curious on how long it'll last on continuous 3G usage
I only got about 2 hours max, or almost 2h30mins if I limit the cpu freq on stock battery

Mmmmh ... I guess my daily battery usage is quite stable. I recall with regular activity my internet (3G mode) without wifi and without the use of phone and sms as needed. I can reach as much as one and a half the day more. Unlike during the original battery, I only get a day time use only 8 hours.
Note: on average every two hours once in 24 hours using the internet. and my mobile data is off continuously. And Yes, I do a bit of overclocking to 1.15 GHz
Maybe next time I'll show you.

Yes, that's my daily use, senior. I use it all-saving mode. And while all-round needs to be, and even then did not have many hours I think. Because I'm always support energy-efficient world. The important thing is I do not have to lose until significant moments, when having to deal with a job that requires me to connect to the internet. To call and sms I have a separate number for it. So my device is specifically for work-related activities, hobbies (not games) that must be connected to the internet only.

4 Hour Cut Off

Hey,
So i have the note 4 and my gf and i like to fall sleep but after 4 hour the call cuts out is there a way to override this i have rooted my device etc. Were getting her a new Samsung s5 any ideas thanks guys.
I think the first thing I would try is using an app to keep the screen on on both phones and have both phones plugged in. And, definitely no power saver mode or battery saver apps.
Ah, the 4 hour phone calls. I remember those days... Weren't no such thing as a cellphone back then. If I'm on the phone more than 5 minutes these days, there's something wrong!
I believe this is a network feature and if it can be overridden, the carrier would have to do it
^^^^ exactly the way I feel haha
Damn 4hrs at one time to the same person.
Fair use policy?

I would try google voice and use a google voice number maybe that will keep u on
I haven't been able to find anything official on T-Mobile's site, but you'll see people on other phones (iPhones, Blackberry, etc...) complaining about the 4 hour limit. It's not a device issue, and there's no "block" on your account, it's just the way T-Mobile's network works.
The only thing I can recommend (apart from switching carriers, obviously) is a Hangouts voice call. If you both have Hangouts installed on your phone you can initiate a voice call and have no time limit. Just make sure you're on WiFi (or an unlimited data plan) since it uses data, not minutes.
