I just got my Huawei Ascend P7 and installed/started it up. I have a problem with my Hotmail agenda. It does not show in the Huawei agenda app and I cannot add it as account either. The Hotmail mail works without a problem both on PC and P7. When I try to add it to the agenda with the use of the email address and password, it gives an error (domain name wrong but I do not have a domain name).

After upgrading to ROM 2.03 I can't use messaging with my msn email account.
With 1.93 was easy. Now after I set a new account, write my email and password it says "Found settings for msn.com" but it opens Opera at mobile.live.com.
Anyone use an email msn account in messaging ?

I'm not sure if you can add a hotmail account onto messaging.....
I've downloaded Windows live Messenger for my diamond and have this app synchronize my hotmail account...
after that it should pop up at your email accounts

When you try to set up an account and it goes to opera and opens mobile.live.com it means that you already have an account set up on the phone. Thats what happened when I tried to add more than 1 hotmail account.
Check if you have another hotmail account registered in your mail application. Hotmail means hotmail.com, live.com, live.ca..... any domain belonging to hotmail. hope this helps.
I have 3 different accounts set up on live and hotmail. I would like the emails from all of these to be accessible on my Xperia. Sadly every time I try to add the second one the phone does nothing.
I have tried two different ROMs neither of which changed the result.

I'm not a hotmail/live user but i think that the phone wants to associate your live account with windows live. and you can only ad on windows live account. what you cold do is forward the mails to on account. i have 4 email account and i have them forwarded to an gmail account so i only have to ad on account for everything.
like i sayd i'm not an live user so i don't know if there is something you can do i never had this isseu.

Do you have live messenger installed on your phone? as a program not a panel.
You can do it, but you'll get push mail only for ONE account. This is how it works: Set up a new e-mail account, enter a fake e-mail address. The domain-part is important (The thing after @). DO NOT WRITE HOTMAIL OR MSN OR LIVE THERE! Enter correct PW for your e-mail. Then choose POP3 Servers. Servers are: pop3.live.com and smtp.live.com. Make sure you check ALL checkboxes you can, also in advanced, enable SSL, outgoing mails authentication etc. When you're done, EDIT the account you just created and put in the correct e-mail address. Now you can use it

I have been trying to setup my two hotmail email accounts on my X1. It don't seem to be happening, am, I to conclude that it cant be done?
I tried too...don't think it's possible. I just have one account forwarding email to the other. This way I get push email on both live accounts.
EDIT: There is also an option in Windows Live (online) that lets you link other email accounts to your Live account.
cant you configure one account with live messenger and the other with a normal pop3 settings?
dont you need mail server information to set up pop3 ?

i'm searching for an email app wich allows me to check my mails i sent from Thunderbird on Win7 when im not at home. Normally on my android device it works properly with K9 and imap on both programs, but on my Win7 device it didn't.
Ja i set everything to imap, maybe interesting it's an gmx adress. And normally they want to be paid for imap, but it works also if u enter smtp... yourself.

The only thing i've managed to get working is gmail.
I have gmail check my 3 pop email accounts ( all seperate mail servers)
On WP7.5 under gmail account i can find each folder ( i have set up in Gmail to keep the 3 inboxes seperate) and pin the inbox to the home screen.
On the home screen i can see when and how many mails are in each mail box
I like gmail as it means even if i loose my phone or whatever, i can always check all my mail on one webmail account

gmail, yahoo, hotmail all work perfectly fine in wp7.
I set up an IMAP server we use at work, without any problems.
Do you get an error message?
I have an Office 365 account with multiple calendars (personal, corporative, friends sports, etc.), when I configure it in the phone with Exchange Corporative account type, only the main calendar is synchronized, the other calendars in the same account are not visible in Calendar applicattion.
Same problem with hotmail account configured with Exchange Corporative.
Is there any way to get all calendars? I can use all calendars with Outook app, but I prefer to get then natively with Exchange Corporative connector to manage separately notifications for mail and calendar.
