Can someone upload the original feature.xml file for the SM-n900a running 4.4.2. I made some edits and want to revert back but lost my backup copy. The file is located in /system/csc/. Thank you in advance.

I created a backup of my original ROM using the tutorial and I've placed the created nbh file in the root of my storage card and went to the bootloader only to get, "No image found!" If anyone could help please or point me in the direction of a stock xperia 1i rom I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
did u make sure to rename the file to Kovsimg.nbh?

Thanks Drake I'll try those and I did rename it Beneficial thanks.
I'd like to say I got two files and the one I didn't try was in the rom folder in kovskykitchen but it's just a .nb file could I have used the wrong file? Thanks again.
I am on a rooted 2.2 captivate but one thing really bugs me and that is the sms messages in the phone log. I know that on some custom ROM's the developer hs removed them. Cognition comes to mind. But without flashing the whole ROM is there a way to get just that functionality? Like say just replacing the phone.apk?
I have done some searching but have been spectacularly unsuccessful. Thanks for any guidance.
Yes you can just replace the apk however it's not the phone.apk it's the logproviders.apk, grab that from a rom and drop it into /system/app on the phone then reboot.

Do I need to do anything about the.odex file? I don't see one in the ROM's I've checked.
You won't find one in the rom its more than likely been deodexed, umm I think you just leave the odex file there.
Rename the original with a .bak at the end before you paste the new one in that way if it doesn't work yo usage a backup of the original.

I copied in a logprovider file from Cognition... verified that the new file is there. But sadly it looks and acts the same as the old one.
I rebooted as well. Thoughts?
i want the old lockscreen back, so i tested xperialockscreen.apk from .136 firmware ....not my best idea ^^ now systemui fc´s.
so can anyone make flashable zip of .757 firmware (deodexed/or just a zip from /system) ?
or just post the whole /system folder from .757 firmware?
thanks in advance and a big sorry for my bad english
There are several in the development section
But what you want to do is delete that file using adb, saves replacing a whole system for the sake of deleting one file
OR
restore the backup you made before you started messing with system files....

If nobody shares (I do not have XT1053), then go here: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=0
Download the 4.4.2 SBF for the XT1053. Extract it. You can mount the .img files with the appropriate software, and extract the files you need from there. (just search google for "mount img" and you should find what you need)
Good luck
Here ya go http://www.filedropper.com/systemui if you have time can you navigate to /system and upload your build.prop for me

Yes building a rom is pretty much the same across all htc devices
getting the updater-script correct is the tricky part

I download Kitchen by Dsixda to try. I download the rooted twrp backup and I put the file in the folder in the kitchen directory.
But kitchen say the files of the backup doesn't match and so it don't see any ROM...
The backup is composed with 3 files :
recovery.log
system.ext4.win000
system.ext4.win001
Thanks a lot..

Here
--- Go ahead and make a copy of your boot and system backup and paste them in the original_update folder which can be found in the kitchen directory. From a 'TWRP backup' the boot.img will be originally named boot.emmc.win and the system.img will originally be named system.ext4.win. Go ahead and change them respectively to boot.img and system.img (It is that easy).
