Hey Guys, I'm just wondering if there are any kernels out there for the GT-I8190N which support Fast Charge? I'm happy to flash a different rom if needs be, I'm using KitKat 4.4.4 (AOSPA)(Rooted) at the moment from NovaFusion's website.

So i got s3 mini also ,use omnirom 5.1.1 but quick charge not working aby kernel for s3 mini for quick charge?
If kernel supports, you can execute this command to force fast charge.
echo '1' > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
Edit: of course this is for usb charging.

Hi guys,
please recommend kernel that supports USB host and doesn't break anything else. Other that that, I'm happy with stock b17 kernel, battery life is great on wifi (less than 1%/hour idle). Unfortunately stock kernel doesn't support USB host mode.
Glitch? Frankly I can't tell the difference between most of the kernels. I am just using Glitch because I used it on CM7.

Samsung Galaxy ace
GT-S5830
android version 2.3.5
I move from this to the Rom:
cm 11 KitKat 4.4.2
The problem that I face is the problem of rapid battery drain
You change and installation of several Roma's:
cm 10.6 & cm 10.2 & cm 7.2
And all these Romat working on battery drain
I then installed a custom ROMs based on version 2.3.6
In this Roma's battery lasts for very long periods - three days -
In other Roma's Ow shipped three times a day
What caused the problem. ?
Is it those Roma's, or kernel. ?

actually cyanogenmod roms are battery hungry i mean cm roms often drain battery in such devices like Galaxy Ace.
Now you can do 2 things.
1. Check if the rom has overclocked the processor on its own which leads to battery drain. just underclock the processor then.
2. If processor is set at normal frequency then shift to some other roms like AOSP or AOKP.
Well i have been using galaxy ace for a long time i have observed the best battery backup persists in its stock GB rom.

well i would not recommend you to flash cm roms as told earlier they are battery hungry so i would recommend you to flash Resurraction V2 rom to your device which comes up with Lolipop view of GAlaxy S5 and trust me gives a great battery backup.
