Please I will really appreciate if anyone can help me please. I cant receive calls on my nokia x2. Whenever a call is coming in and I try to pick it by sliding down the screen, the screen just goes blank. Any solution please. I have not downloaded the update yet.

factory reset cant remove rooting..u will have to install super su only and good to go
i have same problem, my nokia xl cant receive incoming calls. i did check the incoming setting, forward inactive, barring inactive. please need help

maybe its because of the proximity sensor

Recently whenever I turn my Kaiser on from standby it comes on with the keylock on. I don't think I changed anything to make it do this, and can't see how to stop it - so it comes on unlocked.
Can anyone help? I assume there's a registry setting somewhere, as the control panel doesn't seem to help.

did u try settings/personal/lock ?
Yes, that's all off/unchecked. When I turn the phone on I have to press the left soft button, which says unlock, then an on screen button saying unlock. That's what I'm trying to stop happening.

#3 there is a suggestion, try it.
Thanks for your suggestion, but I've tried turning it off and on, and soft resetting the phone, and it doesn't make any difference. THe other thing I've noticed is that when I finish a phone call the phone locks as well.

Try to search for it here on xda via the search function, I am prety sure that it is solved somewhere here.

Found it! Didn't think I had installed anything recently, but I've just uninstalled an image viewing program called XnView and it's sorted now.

Arrgh! On closer inspection when my phone is connected to the PC via usb the lock doesn't come on. When it's not connected it still does on turn on or at the end of calls. This is getting really irritating!
Any more ideas anyone? Please?

Any chance you're using a custom text input thingy? On my diamond. I have "CE-Star" chinese text input software installed. And when that software expired, the SMS / email screen came out all blank too. There wasn't any error messages etc also. It was just blank. And the text came back when I registered the software.
Or you could just try uninstalling stuff. Maybe it was something you installed. eg. trial s/w ?

I did a hard reset on my phone ( more like a 100 of them ) & still no luck...my touch screen is not working, I cant make or receive any calls, i can't access my contacts, nor can I send new texts unless people text me first.
If i try to access any of it it tells me that android.process.acore has to force close.
I do not believe its any app as I've done a hard reset on my phone & I am still having the same problem.
It is so frustrating cause I baby the phone & this would happen to me.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could help.
I was thinking maybe reverting back to an old update like RC29 could maybe help?

Well then what are you waiting for?
If your using the stock 1.6 there have been some known bugs, so you could try to root or go to tmo and ask for a replacement.
i think i will have to call tomorrow...it kinda sucks you know?
sometimes it works for like 10 minutes and then it goes back to not working at all. very frustrating.

Have you installed an alternative Home launcher? That sometimes causes issues. Another one is a messed up contact. If you wipe the phone completely does it boot normally to the "log into Google" stage?

Same here. I've been experiencing the same issue. I have an htc one locked to Bell and ever since the 4.3 update my LED light will not light up for any notifications. I did a test to make sure the LED still works and it tested fine so I know its not a hardware issue. Also it does still light up orange while charging and green when fully charged. Although, After I unplug the phone from the charger the green light (that shows up when it's fully charged ) stays lit up for about 30 seconds then the green LED finally turns off. Anyone know a fix for this ?
I'm also having the same problem, but the LED turns on when the phone is charging...
In whatsapp, check in: Settings -> Notification -> Color of led, and set it to green

I have the same problem, after updating to 4.3, the green led doesn't light up anymore for notifications. Only when battery is 100%
I have the problem too. Not only for whatsapp, for all other notifications, my green led never blinks after i've updated to 4.3. I have even thought about giving the phone to service, to repair it. Can someone help us? Is it the only way to downgrade the firmware to 4.2.2.? But I don't know how to do it...

I don't know if it is a factory reset but I did this :
Performing a factory reset from settings
Go to Settings, and then tap Backup & reset.
Tap Reset phone.
If you also want to delete media and other data on HTC One, select Erase all data.
Tap OK.
It is taken from HTC Support Page. I did this but the problem still occurs

If it definitely will work i am ready to do it. But i think downgrading to 4.2.2 will definitely solve the problem

For downgrade you need the s-off.
Are you in s-off?
And, i've a custom rom based on 4.3 official by htc, my led work fine...

Im new here, and dunno am I writing this at right place so sorry if I am
Recently my phone started to reboot on its own, sometimes when someone calls me, sometimes when i get notification, and sometimes even bu its self when nobody touches it. So Few days ago i did Hard reset and everything was fine until today. I got call and it just reboots again, and now my RECENT APPS button is not working . Anyone had similar problem?

hi i have same problem, lol (started also about week ago) .. is there any solution? btw .. when phone is plugged, it dont restart.... and it restart usually when i play music from phone speakers, or play games, call, or just doing nothing

Problem solved
Guys, aftrer few hard resets my phone still restarted, so i left it at alcatel store where I bought it, because i still have warranty. They FIXED it. Problem was sowtfare and PROBABLY battery so they changed it anyway to be sure. Phone is working now.
