why you want cid?
if you want to install different regional rom then go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791345
it is flashable by twrp and cwm.
thanks to fshami.

As I can see to the image you have attached you are S-OFFed and you have an eng bootloader (JuopunutBear). So maybe your eng bootloader has not the ability to write an other CID to your device. If you change the JuopunutBear hboot with the original one you could possibly write the CID you want by giving the command fastboot oem writecid {yourcid}.
You can also change your cid by hexediting your misc partition.Just find your cid and replace it with the one you want.

htc one debranding

hey there,
is there already a guide to debrand our htc one´s as we finally have s-off?
and if i debrand my phone.. will i be able to flash a stock htc ruu (1.29.401.xx) and receive updates straight from htc?
cheers
Use the revone method for s-off your phone.
After change your cid in the "super CID" and flash a ruu from htc

Changing ONLY CID will not get you the OTA updates. For OTA, you need to change your CID, MID, flash a RUU for that CID, then OTA update it. After updating, you can change your CID and MID back to whatever you want.

You need to change CID, but you also need to change MID or the OTA won't install. Changing CID and MID is still not enough, because OTA will check your software version first. For example, if you change your CID to HTC__001 and MID to the correct one (I dono what is MID for HTC__001), you still can't install the OTA cos your ROM is different version than HTC__001. You need to install HTC__001 RUU, then check for OTA. Only this way you can get OTA from other regions.
UK can get Romania OTA because both their ROM version is the same, so UK can just change CID, they don't need to do so many steps

I need help with my Tampered Locked Fastboot on HTC One M7

Hi All,
Please see attached snapshot of my current fastboot screen.
My phone loads normally.
But I am not able to go into recovery. If I try, it will also show "Security Warning" with the tampered and locked.
I tried using this RUU: RUU_M7_U_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.2_R_Radio_4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_311663_signed_2_4 (by HTC Guru), and it give me a 155 Error.
P.S.: I changed my CID from HTC__332 to HTC__001 if this helps?
Can you please advise on what to do to fix that so i can be able to load the latest software (sense 6)?
Thanks!
