4d. You need to do the command twice if the CMD says: "pre-update, reflash immediately"
5. If you get "Successful" at the end of the CMD output, type: fastboot reboot-bootloader
6. Check HBOOT for 3.19, OS for 4.16.401.10
7. fastboot reboot
8. Done!

Won't flash from 3.28.401.3.. you'll need 2.22.401.5 Firmware + Stock rom and stock Recovery.

Thanks for providing this, the question is: is there any difference between the firmware from official ota x.06 and the one that llabtoofer got x.03?

Sensation Xl bricked

Hi. I have a htc sensation xl, and i did unlock the bootloader after that i installed CWM and a custrom rom... it worked a few day but one day my phone simply died, it switched off when i was brawsing the web, and now it only comes on shows the htc logo and vibrates 6 times fast... and ramanis that way!
I can get into bootloader and fast boot but i canot enter recovery... i did flash recovery again using adb but the same...
i have tryed to flash a ruu but at the end i get a error 155 and the phone remains the same...? any ideas what my phone has?
Sorry for my bad english!
When you installing RUU, phone must be in fastboot mode and bootloader must be locked.
Possible that damaged the memory (RAM) on the motherboard.
Try flash RUU for you country like i said. We will see.
sorry for my question... how do i lock the bootloader? and where do i find a ruu for cid HTC__Y13

Hey a little respect here.... I can understand that trying to restore to stock and it not going your way it can be stressful and frustrating.
When troubleshooting , you have to make sure you do everything to try and find the resolution
Im sorry bud, but when it comes to restoring to stock, we are a bit unlucky at the moment, some devices will go back, some wont.
Why do you want to go back to stock?
because i am trying to sell the phone i have tried the guide you have mentioned i have tried fastboot boot.img and recovery.img and relocking bootloader and then running the ruu and get a wrong version error i have tried changing from slim sense v1 to nameless and then unlocking bootloader and reflashing the boot & recovery.img and still not joy.
i have tried fastboot flashing the system.img but get that it is too large the ruu,s that i have used are RUU_GOLF_U_ICS_40A_HTC_Europe_2.00.401.2_Radio_10.11.98.09H_1.06.98.13M2_release_295101_signed

i got this phone from phones4u my hboot is 128.0000 and my radio is 1.06.98.13M2
error 130 model id error
ok so tried installing recovery.img worked
using nameless rom v7
removed supersu
relocked bootloader following fkofilee,s guide and get error 130 model id error from both ruu files

They will, they mostly wont check ha, my advice to you is (After having the same problem) Install a Custom Rom That Isnt Like Nameless Or Has A Custom boot Animation That Appears To Obvious.
Yeah thats an idea but its not really solving my problem of getting it back to stock is it ?
anyway i was having a google and thought i may work putting the rom file on the sd card and renaming the zip to PL01IMG.zip well hboot read the file and checked it then gave me a model id error so is there anyway i can change the model id in to ruu zip to match the phone ?

If the cid doesn't match it won't let you do it and there's no way of changing it. There is another way tho you could extract the Rom.zip from the ruu get the system and boot img and use the android kitchen to build it into a flashable zip then use cwm to flash back to stock then just flash back the stock recovery.

The end result is the same, but in the TUTORIAL it's a lengthy process, and you'll have to flash an ENG hboot, which can be risky if you don't follow the steps exactly to the letter.
The tool is a flashable file (from within custom recovery), just like any custom ROM, and it has the Aroma Installer which lets you select which MID you want. Using the tool you should be done in less than a minute, whereas following the tutorial is going to take a lot longer.
My recommendation is using the tool: nice, simple, and easy, and no data loss.
Aroma sometimes gets stuck (not only with this tool, but in general), not a big deal!!, but I've had no problems, when i first wipe cache and dalvik in custom recovery, before running the tool. (or other tools)

so if I understand correctly, you just want a stock international HTC? (wonder why people don't like custom roms )
anyway, to get just international WWE edition, you have already have changed your MID to PN0710000, so now:
1- change CID: fastboot oem writecid HTC__001 (two underscores)
2- use the following RUU: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...1-27_10-31-1131-05_release_310878_signed-exe/
since you're s-off, you can stay UNLOCKED for RUU, and definitely stay S-Off
after running the RUU you should start getting updates immediately all the way up to 3.62 (Android 4.3); 4.4 isnt out yet for WWE.
EDIT: just noticed you're in Dubai, so maybe better to change CID to HTC__J15 (WWE GCC), so fastboot oem writecid HTC__J15
EDIT2: running the RUU will wipe EVERYTHING off your phone including pictures, music etc.
Hit the thanks button if i helped
Thanks for the reply, if I change my CID to HTC__J15, will I still be able to flash the above RUU, and will I have touch problem since I'm running latest firmwarm/Hboot, again thanks for your help made things easier

after running the RUU you should start getting updates immediately all the way up to 3.62 (Android 4.3); 4.4 isnt out yet for WWE.
EDIT: just noticed you're in Dubai, so maybe better to change CID to HTC__J15 (WWE GCC), so fastboot oem writecid HTC__J15
EDIT2: running the RUU will wipe EVERYTHING off your phone including pictures, music etc.

1- touchscreen: no problem, because a full ruu will downgrade everything
2- the RUU is made for
Code:
modelid: [B]PN0710000[/B]
cid: HTC__001, HTC__E11, HTC__102, HTC__203, HTC__405, HTC__Y13, HTC__304, HTC__032, HTC__A07, HTC__J15, HTC__016
there are minor differences in the CIDs, for example, setting HTC__001 doesn't give you Eastern European country/languages, but HTC__032 does:
Code:
HTC__001 --> HTC-WWE
HTC__016 --> VODA-Africa-South
HTC__032 --> HTC-EastEurope
HTC__102 --> HTC-GER
HTC__203 --> HTC-FRA

so if I understand correctly, you just want a stock international HTC? (wonder why people don't like custom roms )
anyway, to get just international WWE edition, you have already have changed your MID to PN0710000, so now:
1- change CID: fastboot oem writecid HTC__001 (two underscores)
2- use the following RUU: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...1-27_10-31-1131-05_release_310878_signed-exe/

hboot 1.55? you have to downgrade to 1.44 separately first:
so download this: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/1-29-401-12_hboot_1-44-zip/
in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB, flash it:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 1.29.401.12_hboot_1.44.zip
fastboot flash zip 1.29.401.12_hboot_1.44.zip <---- just in case the above said “failed flush again”
fastboot reboot-bootloader
--> and confirm hboot is now 1.44
then run ruu.exe

like said in your other thread, there is no RUU for .599 version.
NEVER go back s-on
you don't need to lock the bootloader to use a RUU because you have S-OFF
just make sure both your CID and MID match the ruu you want to use, if not you can change both of these values, thanks to S-OFF.

the ruu you have linked have PN0710000 and yours is PN0711000, so you'll need to change your mid to use that one. Follow the guide to change mid, its pretty easy to do. Yes you can choose whater cid of those but i'll recommend you to use HTC__001 (don't forget its 2 underscore __ 8 characters total). The bootloader will not relocks by itself

Lock your bootloader, HTC ruu requires it, even if you are s-off
What I don't get is after you have updated your Rom, firmware, and hboot, you are then going to flash a custom Rom ??????
You are making things very difficult and complicated for yourself, just manually update your firmware.

as your s-off you can upgrade and downgrade as you please, ive heard the radio file contained in the new firmware is the best to date.

[Q] Installing google play edition proving impossible

Hi I had been getting update notifications system upgrade on my HTC M7
Ändroid L Upgrade. I hope it would fix my device from forgetting wifi passwords..
When I pressed to install, it would got to recovery (then it was twrp) and fail, reboot back
After some investigation on this forums found it the problem was going from my software version LRX22c.H3 to LMY470 was not going to happen because it missed parts.
I tried stock recovery that failed with red exclamation mark
No problem I think Iwill download the full firmware 5.01 and install that following the guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-google-play-edition-lollipop-v1-00-t2963927
But Having tried unsuccesfully now for 3 days I am asking for help.
The problems I have seem to be
1 HBoot 1.54 (to soff i thin i need to be on 1.55+
cid HTC__44 tried numers times to changeto 11111111 but I assume because s-on no joy
S-ON tried to soff firwalker gave up
currently on kernel 3.4.106-kangaroo-g3a212fc
baseband says 4a.17.3250.14_10.39.1150.04D
yes I am very familiar with ADB Fastboot, CWm or TWRP (current bootloader)
Can anyone please suggest the correct path to get CID 1111111 on so that I beleive i can then flash over the firmware listed in http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-google-play-edition-lollipop-v1-00-t2963927, and then i can flash google rom
And am I correct in my assumptions?
Thanks everyone for you consideration an any help offered

You can't install ota update using a custom recovery, you must use the stock recovery that match your firmware version or that one provided in the ota update zip file.
