Is Android Lollipop supported?
After flashing this, my phone bootloops a random amount of times(Sometimes 2, sometimes 5, etc.) after turning it off.. It does eventually boot (so far), however having to wait 15-20 minutes when I need to turn it off and back on is incredibly annoying.. Can anyone assist? If it's relevant, I have an XT1064 on the 5.0.1 software, bootloader is unlocked, and I have the TWRP 2.7.1.1 recovery installed. Thanks!

Where do I locate the 2.44 SuperSU beta to download? Would I just flash this in TWRP?
Edit: Flashed 2.44 and the bootloops are gone! Thanks!
I have a major problem with this.
The zip works fine, I flash and I'm okay. And ever since, it's taking FOREVER to boot up. Usually, the phone will stay on the M logo screen, and then after a minute or so turn off and restart, showing the same M logo again. This usually repeats twice until it finally gets to the lock screen, but today showing my friends the slow boot time, it happened three times. We timed it and it took a total of 6 minutes (I forced it off and restarted after it did it the third time once). Can anyone help me with this horrible problem?
Worked like a charm...THANKS!

You need to flash the latest firmware or else the bootloader will not recognize the firmware signature. Get them from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...riginal-motorola-firmware-collection-t3153533

Is there an update on the way for a flashable recovery through adb fastboot for the xt1039 variant? I have root, after unlocking bootloader but can't boot recovery, or flash recovery. Also, as it stands now I don't think I even have stock recovery in fastboot menu
How did you root? If you are rooted there should have been a recovery? Or did you use "fastboot boot recovery" command instead of "fastboot flash recovery"?
In that case the custom recovery is not permanent. To reach the stock recovery, did you try these steps:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55970433&postcount=8 ?
sry for my worse english,I´m from germany.....
Can anyone confirm it work on XT1063?
How about on XT1064? Will it work?
Thanks.

worked fine on my xt1068!
Is it official or ported?

I was stack with the twrp, fails backups ever! this recovery just work like a charm! GOOD JOB!
yes, I had to use "fastboot boot recovery", as every time I tried to flash I just got blank screen. And then realised after 3 days, the xt1039 is moto g 2013, not 2014 when I purchased it lol
Any CWM mirrors?
Hy, I just tried to get the CWM from this link http://d-h.st/X5N but that link is dead, anyone who downloaded the recovery can share it?
Thnx, this is really frustrating.
The link is ok, I´ve tested it right now. Choose the middle downloadbutton. If it doesn´t work for you I can load it up,just tell me where you want to have it.
cmw over twrp
moto g 2014 twrp cant backup nandroid, so i want to try cwm. so plz any1 guide me how to install cwm over twrp? thank you
Why don´t you flash CWM directly with fastboot flash CWM_Touch_Titan_v2.img ?

Hi,
I have an xt1068 and installed this recovery but when I restart my phone or try to enter into the recovery it wont start. The screen goes on and off.. and show like the recovery was loading but never finishes.
I only can enter to the bootloader menu.
i hope yo will understand my english
Hey guys, I just recieved my Moto G 2014 and the first thing after my initial boot (to make sure everything was working) I did was unlock the bootloader, flash twrp, and root.
I just booted it up for the first time after doing all that and my wifi won't turn on. Toggling it on causes the switch to immediately go back off.
Is it a radio problem? I didn't touch any files other than logo.bin, recovery, or boot.img.
Can anyone help? Thanks.
Edit: It seems that whatever guide I followed had me flash a boot.img that probably messed my phone up. How can I get the original boot.img for my phone? This is the guide I used, which I got from the xda portal. It seems a few other people had problems with wifi in that thread, but a solution was never posted.
Edit2: I downloaded a stock based rom for the moto g 2014 and flashed the boot.img from it, but now I can't get root, even after flashing the supersu zip in recovery. Can anyone help?
Maybe you have to go through unlocking procedure once again? Not because the bootloader is relocked but there could be some kind of setting that has changed after flashing boot.img.
Just thinking.

Eh, I don't think so. The root process, in all reality, should just be unlock bootloader, flash recovery, flash supersu if I'm not mistaken. I've done all that and i still can't get root. At least my wifi works again though.
Flash complete stock rom and try again.
I unlocked bootloader, rooted by booting (instead of flashing) into TWRP 2.8.5.0 and flashed SuperSU 2.46 without any problems. There must have been something wrong with the first boot.img.

I had the same problem but could solve it as follows:
Download the file WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_nv.rar
Extract the file "WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_nv.bin" to folder "/persist" (root required)
Restart system
Information taken from the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/fix-wifi-missing-file-t3007540
Hi, I had the same problem . If WIFI DONT TURN ON .then u might have not used the command fastboot flashing unlock_critical . Try using this command will work for sure. If it didn't work flash using miflashtool but don't select clear all instead select 2nd option only storage
Since pepole have no knolege of what they are doing and kind of blame me for it i will not provide the images anymore.

You can use whatever recovery you would like, the system image does not affect the recovery in any way.

The bootloop have nothing to do with my bootloader files, they are completley stock from the ota file!
If you installing the new bootloader files on older roms you are asking for troubles.
Boot the watch in bootloader mode and flash the files as described and you watch will work.
Af if it bootlooping run a "Fastboot -w" after flashing.
Greetings, Is the newly released OTA compatible with your rom?

Yep, just like in the steps, the thing did show a FAILED (anti-rollback) when flashing the 'aboot'. I just used everything that was on the zip, now the watch doesn't even show the LG logo, I've tried plugging it on and off and keeping the reset button pressed for a while. I really don't know what else to try.
I'm waiting for it to run out of battery, but I don't even know if it's "on".

Yes, it had the boot loader unlocked, and I can't try again flashing the aboot because I can't get it to recovery mode or fast boot mode or anything.

By people, do you mean 1 person ???
Pretty unfair for other, isn't it ?
I am looking for bootloader files for the G Watch R to flash over what I believe to be a corrupt bootloader on my device. It will only boot when on the charging stand, and so far I have only been able to get it to boot to 5.0.1 successfully. Once the device tries to pull down the OTA update it reboots and proceeds to run the update and then it fails and powers off.
Currently I can access fastboot and I can get it to boot a stock recovery and twrp with the 5.0.1 boot.img flashed to my device.
Can anyone who has downloaded the original package from this thread PM me the files? I need to reflash my bootloader files to attempt to fix a booting issue with my watch. Any help would be appreciated and I will not hold anyone accountable if I hard brick my device.

Hi there ,

[SOLVED] Stuck in "warning bootloader unlocked" screen. Device won't turn OFF.
Hi all,
I have a Moto G 2014 (Titan, XT1068).
I am not new to custom ROM-ing and Android hacking, had all 4 of my personal Android phones unlocked and rooted just fine - I usually know what I'm doing.
This here is my mom's phone and it's the first Moto G 2014 I attempted to unlock & root so far. I know the basics, but this particular device gives me headache...
All actions were performed on 07. October 2016 after carefully researching the latest HOW-TOs for the Moto G 2014 on XDA and other websites:
- I unlocked the bootloader using the official process from Motorola to receive the "unique key".
- I installed twrp-3.0.2-3-titan.img recovery.
- I downloaded SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip and placed it on storage.
- I booted into TWRP recovery, installed SuperSU and Wiped Dalvik+Cache, then rebooted.
Since then, I am stuck in the "warning bootloader unlocked" (WBU) screen and the device won't turn off.
If I press the power button and hold it for a few seconds, normally it turned the device off, but now it just reboots into the WBU screen, looping forever.
- I can still enter my fastboot by holding VOL-down + Power, get a adb connection with my Android SDK + platform tools on my Windows and issue adb and fastboot commands normally.
- I can still enter the recovery and do stuff with it normally.
Since this incident, I have also tried a normal Wipe (whatever the default wipe settings are) in TWRP, no change / effect.
I have no clue what to do next, other than wait for the battery to go empty that is, since I can't even turn the device off.
Some methodologically sound advice would be highly appreciated at this point. :good:
Thank you in advance.
You just can't flash the supersu file in twrp before flashing the supersu you need to flash roo.M.br.zip file in fastboot mode then you can flash the SuperSU.
The file available at stock firmware section.
---------- Post added at 09:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:46 AM ----------
Flash the stock rom from fastboot mode then again root the device as i said it will solve the problem.

Is this roo.M.br.zip file included in the Stock Rom or is it the Stock Rom itself?
Or is there another general name for this roo.M.br.zip? Because I can't find it via the search function of the forum.
Anyhow ... in the meantime I will be downloading XT1068_TITAN_RETAILDSDS_5.0.2_LXB22.99-16.3_Easy_Installer.zip which is linked on the following thread:
- first URL for XT1068 labeled as "***NEW*** DOWNLOAD XT1068 5.0.2 LXB22.99-16.3 RETDSDS WITH STAGE FRIGHT FIX RETAIL DUAL SIM DUAL STANDBY (EU/INDIAN/GLOBAL) 26/08/2015 BUILD ***NEW***"
But I already had a look into the archive, nowhere to find a roo.M.br.zip is even similarly named file(s).
Could you be a little more specific or provide the correct XDA thread / link?
Also, the fact that "I can't just flash SU" it must be device specific, right?
Because on my other Android phones I just installed/flashed SU via recovery mod with no problems and that was it.
EDIT: also, according to this guide here, apparently you "can just install SU", if I understand correctly and it's more or less exactly how I proceeded (unless wiping cache/dalvik after flash was harmful):

Sorry for not understanding your answer at first.
Obviously you were refering to two different things in one post and I was a little confused.
- RESTORING THE STOCK-ROM BASED ON MARSHMALLOW / ANDROID 6.0 HAS BROKEN THE BOOTLOOP IN THE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER WARNING.
The other issue was obviously that you catched what I wanted to do originally, which was to ROOT the device.
- DOWNLOADING AND FLASHING THIS "root-titan-M-BR.zip" IN THE THREAD YOU SPECIFIED ENABLED ME TO FLASH SUPERSU AFTERWARDS WITHOUT PROBLEMS.
Obviously I can now go on doing what I initially intended, which is installing CM13 on my mom's phone.
I almost thought I had bricked the phone for good.
Thank you for your support. :good:
Hi.
My cell came in bootloop, I loaded the original rom by adb fastboot, and everything comes out correct in the load, however, follow the bootloop.
In recovery mode does nothing, re-enter bootloop always.
Has it happened to someone else?

Are you sure you flashed mcg24.251-5-5 (with extra -5 at the end?) And not the previous (mcg24.251-5-5) which would give you a bootloop? You can't flash a lower version with a locked bootloader.
You're not trying to use the temp root posted in another thread as perpetual temp are you? That also causes bootloop. It's posted here in this forum only for using Sunshine to unlock the bootloader.
Just curious, is your bootloader unlocked?

hi.
I am sure you will try with the rom 5-5
At the end of flashing, everything gave me "OK" (radio, boot, bootloader ...)
I remember if I install the sunshine, but in the end I do not know how to use it. Thinks that maybe that caused the damage.
No, my bootloader is locked.

How can I flash this initiroot? Does it came in the Root's folder? I flash this before the stock room? I'm confused, sorry about that hehehehe.
Thanks for all attention!
if you use the auto#initroot tethered jailbreak tool in before , just run it again.
I get this moto logo reboot problem in few days before, and I read many page for get this answer.
the temp root tool use some system issue , and it will cause this xt1254 boot loop issue , just run the auto#initroot.windows.bat again . phone will reboot to normally.
