Gaming laptops

Hello all,
I'm looking for a good laptop with high performance ***good battery life,*** and it has to be attractive like an iPhone or something... Performance and battery life are key. Can be third party or not Idc. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

A few ideas...
ASUS G55VW
Sager/clevo makes a bunch of very nice laptops for gaming... Check out "xoticpc" dot com (can't post links since I'm still a n0ob).
BTW, if you want a awesome gaming laptop you'll need to give up some battery life. So you have to balance the two to what suites your needs. If you want a "iphone" looking laptop you could go with a asus zenbook. But that's not so good at gaming compared to the notebooks I mentioned above.
Let us know what you decide on when you get your laptop
Thanks guys. I was looking at the Asus today. I'm thinking about going that route.

You tried to search around? maybe a little Google search...
Cause if you did, you could see that most part of us is very happy with it (even being a little early for customs, hacks, etc...).
If you need motivation, you'll find a lot in LG Official site
XDA-developers.com is a great forum but I think it starts to be a little flooded with some... unnecessary questions or posts
(at least in "LG Optimus 4X HD").
Thank you all and please, search before ask
the phone itself is good especially on 10f. however some games still lags with it. for your case ill recommend that u stay on ur note till ur jelly bean and meanwhile wait for 4x to get its custom roms unless you are fine with stock and also monitoring other brands and phones. otherwise i dont have much complains on 4x either especially from someone who was pissed off at 2x previously.
Be careful not to buy this device in the developer version. I and many other friends here are facing hell to find a solution upgrade. :banghead:
But the phone is good! Very good!

A developer phone is not supposed to be bought
The phone is very good, about that you're right
Yes but they're selling developers phone as retail phone. Search ebay.com as an example.

bye to o4x owners for now

Just wanted to let you know that o4x has sung its last song here, as it got sold recently. This means that i will not be able to support the o4x any longer.
but thanks to all o4x owners supporting my mods and hacks, i am sure many enjoyed the early releases, so o4x didn't go all bad, when things looked worse.
and no, i have not chosen a new phone to replace it, i am still happy with my GNII. but i do plan to look more closely at HOXv2 when its available in Denmark.
thanks for all!!
It's really very bad news ...

[Q] HTC One vs SGS3 LTE

Hi, I'm thinking of changing my SGS3 LTE for the HTC One. What's the dev support like? It seems a little slow? The main reason I want to move from SGS3 LTE is due to slow support from dev community and Samsung not playing nicely with the XDA dev community. Are things better with the HTC One? Also, how is the phone's performance and what is stock like (also, rooted stock variants)? Is CM10.1 stable? And battery life? I'm keen for some feedback from you guys, the user base! I'm choosing between the HTC One and The Xperia Z.. just gotta change this SGS3 LTE asap!
You are in the right forum..... Do some reading.... Decide it.... But imho... Htc one is the only one..

Ya exactly. There is a wealth of information out there, if one chooses to look for it.
Bottom line: the One is the best phone out at the moment. It is quite an upgrade over last year's flagship phones (save for the camera).

Hi, thanks. Yes there is a wealth of information. But that's not what I'm asking. I want to know what the XDA support is like? That is the most nb thing for me? My choice between the HTC One and Xperia Z is probably gonna come down to XDA dev support.. there's minimal/ok support on the SGS3 LTE and it taught me a valuable lesson.. check with the XDA community first! it's the only way to get the real story..

You asked a number of things. As far as dev support goes, it looks pretty decent so far. I hear that Sony supports devs better than most companies, so it may be better there.
The best thing you can do is look in the associated forums here on xda and decide for yourself which dev-community you believe will be the best for you.
Would help if someone here also has experience with the Xperia.
*edit* trump card might be that there is a GE One. That could bring even more devs onto the One side.

Yeah thanks guys. I think it's pretty clear to me that the HTC One is a superior phone and has excellent support from XDA dev community

Lollipop Petition

Hey there guys,
My name is DarkExistence as you can tell
I have made a petition to update the HTC One Mini 2 to Android Lollipop.
I did this because I felt it was unfair for us users to buy a phone and for support to be dropped for it when it has just been out for a year.
I also feel HTC are doing this because they want us to buy a different phone in an effort for them too make more money as their company profits are falling.
I have asked HTC multiple times on twitter and email about why they cant upgrade the HTC One Mini 2 and why can they not upgrade the HTC One Mini 2 if the Motorola Moto G 2014 and Moto E are getting the updates with the same and Lesser specs even. I get the same reply back saying 'It would not provide a optimal experience' and i get no reply when I mention Motorola phones getting updated.
I know that Motorola doesn't have much of a skin, but lets face it, HTC Sense 6 is a very light skin, and it is basically the same in Android 5.0 on the One M8 with the only things different being the Animations. Its not like we are asking for an update to Sense 7.
I hope ye sign this petition and hopefully we can get this updated together!
Thanks for reading! Link will be below!

Don't think they will .. i clearly see that they just care about those who spend a lot of money on the phone.. i mean only flagship. .
In my case i bought this phone for 450 euros .. and i think it's just irrespectable for the users to spend this money and don't have a support for update.. they sale the phone on kitkat and it will die on kit kat .. i'm clearly sick about that ... I really want to boycott HTC but i don't want a samsung or sonyor any other ..
They must update all of their phone since they put em on the market. I can understand the One X,S,V series are dead but they must update the One series ... From the One Mini first gen to the last M9 ...
