The rom is OTA Ready! You will need stock recovery to successfully run the OTA.
I'm using TWRP, can you please share a link for the stock recovery?

Since you did not provide your version, here is a collection of stock recoveries.
What about S-On users? Is there some option to get an OTAs updates without convertation via RUU?

How can we say about the Android 5.0 update for htc One M7 with this stock ROM?
Worked perfectly with my S-ON HTC one
Thanks alot! worked perfectly after flashing boot.img on my htc one with s-on.
the new link for 4.4.4 is down :/
Stock Recovery build.prop mismatch
Hi, I am trying to install 5.0.1 on a converted GPe HTC One M7 running 4.4.4 but am getting an error when trying to flash image from stock recovery. It says the fingerprint of build.prop release-keys is wrong (4.4.2), even though /system/build.prop shows correct (htc/m7_google/m7:4.4.4/KTU84P.H1/356549).
Any idea what could be causing this? I am usually using TWRP to backup/recover.
Thanks, Esben
Are we gonna see an updated version of this ROM with android lollipop?
HTC One M7 Stock ROM
I have a HTC One M7 S-On with unlocked bootloader and I want to put the stock rom 4.4.4.
From what I have read I have to extract the boot.img and flash it via fastboot.
And after that I have to download TWRP from Google Play and copy the archive on my HTC and install it from TWRP (and I have to check Wipe Data) and it will do the rest.
Could someone explain me step by step how to flash the boot.img (I downloaded and installed adb and fastboot for windows from here)? and if I understood what I have to do in rest?
Thank you!

I do get OTA updates, and it downloads just fine, but as soon as I try to install it, it reboots into the custom recovery and nothing happens. when I had Sense 5 ROM I would simply install the stock recovery.img and installed the OTA update, but right now I'm on stock Android 4.3 google edition and I can't find a stock google edition 4.3 recovery.img

Go to the GPe convention thread. Its in the development section. Download the ruu. Pull the recovery.img, and flash it.
Or ignore the ota, its a minor update anyway. No noticeable changes.

You said you updated hboot but you`re on 1.55. As I said in my first reply to you, update to hboot 1.57. And in the future, please read through the thread before posting. This has been discussed before. You can find the latest firmware with hboot 1.57 here.
I recommend updating firmware using the file from the link above, but if you only want to update your hboot, you can download this. It`s the same as the firmware above but with only hboot 1.57.

Do you tried update your hboot to 1.57
I'm unable to add a stock sense rom as secondary rom. Recovery says "unable to load boot.img" when flashing. Primary rom is GPE 4.4.4.
I tried two different stock sense roms I found on this forum.
Hello,
I recently installed the MultiROM app via Playstore on my HTC ONE m7 with teamvenom ONE and S-off.
After I pressed install it installed and downloaded some stuff but he cant enter recovery.
Now its just rebooting to the normal system without multirom.
edit: I installed flashify and reinstalled twrp....
I can't get multirom to work. Even with CWM Touch Recovery.
Somebody got a solution for this?

Hello everyone, I have a question. First of all, I have a rooted HTC one on stock ROM with TWRP recovery with s-on (haven't got to it yet.). How would I install an OTA without loosing root? I saw a video in which I flash stock recovery, download and install OTA, then reinstall custom recovery. Question us will this work on s-on? If not, is there another way? Thanks!

The minute you flash the stock recovery you will lose root. The steps you describe is how to get the OTA. For the OTA you need stock recovery, stock rom and you may need some files in the /preload/ folder that were deleted when you unlocked your bootloader.

Oh ok, well as thanks for the reply. Do you think it would be possible to download it and install it by flashing the apk file or zip file instead of OTA?

If you are S-OFF you can flash it in stock recovery otherwise you will have to get the file OTA.

It would be better to use a Guru Reset if you want ota's. You can simply make a backup in custom recovery. Flash the reset zip and take ota updates when your all done reflash twrp recovery and restore your backup.
You need to see if there's a reset zip that matches your MID, CID and Version main. For it to work though. Look here http://www.htc1guru.com/downloads/stock-rom-downloads/ or post your details if you need help to find the right one.

What if i have rooted my phone and inatalled CWM.
Will i be able to update my phone via OTA?
If not then what is the method? (without ota)
Thanks for any feedbacks in advance.

Though this is a usual case, sometimes the ota overwrites cwm.
If you can get hold of the OTA zip file you can flash it from cwm without losing custom recovery.
Just picked up a Sprint HTC One M8 Harman Kardon today and didn't even think to update the firmware to 4.4.4 from 4.4.2 before I went and installed a TWRP custom recovery. Now I can't update OTA. Can anyone please help me with a stock recovery image? The software version is: 1.54.654.15 and the CID: SPCS_004. Apparently I'm not the only one in desperate need of this image because google is flooded with the same issue. If there is an alternative, possibly using an older or newer stock image from the same device let me know please. Or just any other suggestions, I'm all ears! Thanks a bunch.

As far as I know all the stock recoveries are the same, so you should be able to use any of them.
