I don't see s planner anywhere

I was able to get rid of the "S Finder" and "Quick Connect" with help from twilliamszx3 in the other thread.
If you are rooted, install Xposed Framework and use the Wanam Xposed module from the play store. The most up to date one provides the option to remove it in the Notification settings tab.

if you root, you can install xposed and wanam xposed.

[Q] A weird question about auto starting an app

So my friend has and idea. He decided he wants to make a tablet boot and launch Skype instantly without showing statusbar or anything. Is that even possible?
Check manifest of any launcher.it contains special category intents which helps android to recognise app as launcher.you have to add those lines in your app also.so basically i am telling you to convert your app as launcher.maybe thats not a good idea.
Second option is to make a boot reciever service in app which automatically starts it.that is only possible if you have great smaling experience and api knowledge or the app is open source..
I Hope it guided you somewhat. For better answer go to xda app development forums and ask there.
Regarding statusbar ,any app (possibly on 4+ android though not sure)can hide status until it is running.even there is a theme defined in framework for it like
Theme.Holo.light.noactionbar.fullscreen

S-Health keeps popping up

After every call ended, S-Health pops up, after unplugging headphones S-Health pops up, and sometimes varies with other apps when exiting them or doing whatever... wtf. Thought it was me but two buddies with new S5 as well said the same thing. Any way to disable this, I don't even use it and not signed into it. Useless to me, I keep my workout sched for different days in Evernote anway. Praying to the root gods something is figured out to get rid of this bloatware.
Go to settings/application manager and find s health in the All tab. Uninstall updates first, and then hit "turn off".

Thanks. Went through and pretty much did the same for every AT&T and Sammy app showing.
It doesn't remove the apps, but at least it prevents them from running services in the background.

Same issue
I've had this same problem on my S7. I 'Disable' the app and it asks me if I would like to restore it to the factory version to which I say 'yes'. Then at the next update it reinstalls the latest updates and it all happens again. I'm not very tech-savvy so am hoping someone can help. I've now removed all permissions and blocked notifications on the app settings so fingers crossed it stops happening.

Mobile Hotspot Shortcut

Is there a way to add a shortcut to turn on mobile hotspot? Right now I have to go to settings>tethering>mobile hotspot>on

I'm going to use chronicaust's directions for the download booster, except I changed the download booster to the mobile hotspot, since the directions for the shortcut are nearly identical.
TO GET THE QUICKSETTINGS TILE: ROOT ACCESS IS REQUIRED.
1. Download SQlite editor version 2.1. It's 2.99 in the playstore, unless you obtain it free from somewhere else.
2. In apps, find settings storage > settings.db > system
3. Search for notification
4. Choose Notification_Panel_Active_App_List (there are a few VERY similar ones, make sure its the right one.
5. Add WiFiHotspot; Make sure you don't forget that semicolon.
6. Reboot
Mine was a little buggy, so I deleted the shortcut.
Thanks for the response. I ended up using Power toggles app.
Add widget to home screen.
Modify widget by clicking add.
Add WiFi hotspot item.
Click done in upper left corner.

Should have looked for my similar thread first before posting a new one but here ya go:

I changed build.prop:
ro.product.name=kltexx
ro.product.device=klte
The last tile on the becomes "Wi-Fi hotspot" (next to Toolbox).
The pull down also changed: now it has "S Finder" and "Quick Connect". 4G LTE icon also changed to 4G and 4G changed to H+.
Then for some reason, even I remove AT&T's Mobile Hotspot app by Titanium Backup Pro, after a factory reset the icon comes back in Apps, without AT&T's provision though.

Shealth pedometer.

When i had just received my phone i tried the the pedometer for a day and then stopped it. A week later it keeps beeping and alerting me that I haven't used it in week. I tried to find a way to disable the notifications in the settings but that section was grayed out.
Is there any way to stop the notifications without disabling shealth?

Try going to phone settings > Application Management and locate S-Health and Clear Data/Clear Cache.

I got rid of it by unchecking "show notifications "under application manager -> s health.

What the heck is this (circled in pink)...

...and how do I get rid of it?
It is precisely what it appears to be: a link to S Finder (search device) and Quick Connect (search for and connect to other devices). If you are rooted and have Wanam Xposed, you can disable the S Finder bar in the Notifications Panel section.
Thanks. ..not rooted, so I guess I'll have to live with it. ..ha! ?

There is an easy fix for that.
