Thanks.
Sorry for asking in the wrong section mods.
I still didn't find my answer though
Very old, but unanswered thread. Does anybody know? Because I'd like to know too.

I don't know about the Sony dock, but it works well with the Kosee dock (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kosee-Compatible-Magnetic-Charging-Smartphones/dp/B00OHUASFQ)

None known at present. People have tried a variety of generic camera/PDA cases. I got a Proporta generic case that someone recommended -- It's "OK" at best. It kinda fits. I scrounge through every store I see, hoping to find something that will really work. But haven't really seen a custom case that has the belt clip. Still hoping, however...
thanks for the input

There is this one, I bought it but the clip broke on 2nd day. They will be sending a "stronger" replacement clip, we'll see.

if you want it done right you have to do it yourself
the pics were too large so i put them in a cab file.
is there anything that prevents your DIY-case-with-belt-clip from opening?
or is it just the weak magnet that holds the device and the keyboard together?

the open part is facing down, which does two things, 1st it won't open when walking around and 2nd you can see the subdisplay when its on your belt
FYI - the magnet is not really that weak
oic, thanks.
stupid me, havn't thought of the open part facing down
Almost perfect
I found a solution: a sports pouch from Reebok. It has 2 places:
. An open one - it's like a glove
. An closed one at the top, with a zip.
It can be attached at the belt or, with a cord, at the neck.
I bought it here in Portugal, from Decathlon, 13 EUR.
But still looking....

Why would you order the Krussel over this: http://www.bluetrade.eu/index.php?page=product&id=8720
It looks to be a better case that can hold everything (or am I missing something here?)

The device bulky by itself and carrying the keyboard with it makes bigger and heavier to carry on your belt. How often do you use the keyboard?
You don't really _need_ it as a keyboard, but it's a pretty good screen cover.

Yes they said it would arrive between August 1 - 15. I have two day shipping on it. Usually they are good about shipping earlier, but not this time so far...
Has anyone else received one from Amazon yet? If so, when where you supposed to receive it according to Amazon?
I've seen the external batteries, a DIY possibility, but without compromising the integrity of constantly opening and re-opening the flaps, what are the best options of charging the device?
Without taking off its case considering I have butterfingers lol.
Thanks
A charging cradle, magnetic charger which is pretty expensive and you can build your homemade cradle if you cant afford the original one

Buy a dock or get a wireless charging kit.

No, you don't have to open the flap to use cases with attached external battery. Do a search of this section of the forum and you'll find plenty of options.

For the int. ver D802
Maybe you'll find one on ebay.

You will have a hole in the up right corner where the stylus from f320 version is. See pictures on ebay.
Also the hole from audio jack is not completly round.
All in all i think will fit.
Thanks for the help!

Didn't buy that one. Got a cheap over-the-back cover+front door.
Just to get the feel for the front cover to see if I like it.
I don't.
Went back to bare naked phone as god intended it to be.
So like title said, post links / names of cases you can find online, for now there is only two options avaiable:
https://www.verizonwireless.com/accessories/verizon-two-tone-bumper-case-for-moto-z-play-droid/
https://www.incipio.com/cases/smart...cases/moto-z-play-droid-co-molded-bumper.html
The second one is not mod friendly. I've it and it doesn't fit car dock or back style mods.

I'll vouch for the Verizon bumper case. So far all the mods I have fit with this on. I know its not a full case, but it protects the siding and gives you the ability to hot swap mods all day
I have the famous YouTube review video showing how terrible the Incipio bumper is. It doesn't even work with their own battery pack. Just poor engineering and design.
Is there any more options beside this two? Because verizon is not available to Europe?
found this one, but seems ... meh..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bumper-Hull...hash=item2cb1bc7c5d:m:mfyawQRORjPhUzy0W1tvT1w
I backed the Edge Shield Bumper, at Indiegogo. But it will take some more time to deliver because Lenovo/Motorola asked for a legal agreement, this month. So I have to wait to see it's quality.
i am aware of edge bumper but its not available...
just an update, found this as well, will order it and test it out
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Alum...hash=item46617fd53b:m:mgaxLvfprj1bg9tMQdetkKw
NOTE: did not order because seller said it does not work with mods
Definitely want to know if it's mod friendly
Verizon one just broke on me. Lasted about 5 months. I want another one because it is the only one that works. Any idea where I can buy? I would love the edge shield when it comes.
Just received a Sparin TPU case for the MZP from Amazon today. The best part is that it fits OVER the style shell and all. Yeah, it's a tight squeeze and the top mic hole is a little bit off and it is a bit of a pain to remove, but it works. Don't know how long his case will hold up without cracking or yellowing, but so far I'm impressed. Buttons are able to be clicked and power cord inserted. Got a 2 pack for less than $10 shipped.
Oh, and no hole for the pins either.
