No pin option on action memo. - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently was watching videos of the options on what you can do with the s pen. Notice on mine and a friend of mine we don't have the option to pin a action memo on home screen. As seen in this video around 3:50

That's strange mine is there.

I don't have it either. Even tried switching back to TW instead of nova, no change. I would actually use that feature too!

That's very strange. I understand some international models do not have that feature. What is your model number?

I found out it is nova, I deleted it. Rebooted and sure enough it was there. Evidently nova has to fix it.

I have the tmobile version, usa. I didn't try uninstalling nova, just disabling it and that didn't work. Hope they can fix it.

No pin for action memo
I have Note4 on Verizon. I do not use Nova. I have no pin option either. Verizon also chose note to have to tab view feature in settings, only list view. I wish carriers would leave the original features in and keep their own features out unless requested.

Bluetooth keyboard for Tab... $38.95 for combo accessories.

I found this Bluetooth keyboard accessories combination package on Amazon which looks nice. Really what I'm interested in is the keyboard and the stylus.
My question is has anyone used this keyboard on they're tab and would it work for my T-mobile USA galaxy tab. The description says Gt-P1000. Not sure if my t-mobile galaxy tab is the Gt-P1000.

While i don't have your Galaxy Tab version, mine is the P1000 (Bell/Canadian), flashed with Modaco.
I have the keyboard and the stylus.
The keyboard is great... its small enough to do some simple typing. It was very easy to pair
The stylus itself i don't like and doesn't scroll like i thought it would. It does however allow me to select each part of the screen individually. In this case, i'd rather use my fingers to do that part.
Hope that helps!
yeah, i've seen this "keyboard" before, but it's actually more like a keypad. tiny.

Display zoom option for CM 10.1?

One of the very very few nice things with 2.1 was the display zoom feature so games like Drop 7 (great puzzle game, BTW) could be scaled to fit the screen. Any option like that for JB, or is that a non legacy function from ICS?
I'm also curious about this feature and didn't see info on this elsewhere in the forum. I did some googling and the only mention I can find is someone discussing that this feature was removed in the latest Android. I'd post the link but since I have too few posts that feature is blocked for me.
Any more knowledgeable folks out there that can confirm/deny what's going on with this?
Wonder why it was removed from JB? It worked fine. Now Drop 7 is a tiny window. Also smaller on my S3 and Excite 7.7 with JB, but the higher res with the HD+ makes it like a large postage stamp.
Surprised there is no rooted app for this.
Have you tried Settings > Accessibility > Magnification gestures?
That option is not in CM settings that I could find.
I also can not find an option to force open GL, that is in my other JB using devices.
Open GL I'd normally in developer settings, but that is not in settings. As with no magnification option in accessibility.
That said, a magnification setting is not in any of my devices.
Screenshot of 'Magnification gestures' option below. It's probably not what you want, however.

That is scary. Completely missed that. Seems to work fine for Drop 7, since zooms 3X and not blurry
Do we also have the force open GL option, or was that removed from 4.2.2?
Developer options > Force 4x MSAA ?
Makes sense.

Gear S2/S3 weather widget

Has anyone gotten their Note 8 working with a Gear S2 or Gear S3's built in weather widget? I thought it was my Gear S2 messing up, but reading through reviews on the Samsung app store it appears to be a Note 8 problem. I tried a few suggestions I saw on much older devices but none of them worked (I didn't try a full phone reset but I did factory reset the watch twice).

I just checked mine and it's working fine. I'm looking at it on my watch right now. It wasn't working before on my pixel.
My GS2 is 100% ok with my note 8
SG3 working fine in my note 8

App keyboard is tiny not edge to edge

I have seen in several apps the Samsung keyboard is shrunk by almost half, not touching the sides of the screen, and it's like a miniature version of the keyboard. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it just an app developer thing that is conflicting with the new screen size?
One app I know is doing it Hearthstone

Turn off one handed mode. I use Gboard for its larger, more customizable keyboard.

That's not the fix.
This is the gaming mode keyboard. You need to go to Game Tools and turn the gaming keyboard off.
I searched settings for all things game, none have the keyboard option. I looked into the game launcher settings, and it wasn't there either.
It was a setting in game tools. It's called floating keyboard, and it was auto set to on. I had to open a game, go to the game tools icon on the nav bar, then go to "additional feature". The option was in there.
BTW: thanks for the help guys.

Here's how to activate the “Gallery Labs”!

Here's how to activate the “Gallery Labs” hidden settings on Samsung smartphones
How to activate Samsung Gallery Labs
It doesn't take long to activate Samsung's Gallery Labs via the Samsung Gallery application, but we would like to point out right away that some options may vary depending on the version of Samsung's One UI installed on your device. In fact, if you have a smartphone with One UI 2.5 at your fingertips, as in our case, you will find the same options you see in the gallery below; otherwise, if you are among the many who use the One UI 3.0 or the very recent One UI...
Having made this necessary premise, we are finally ready to find out how to activate Samsung Gallery Labs. First you need to start the Samsung Gallery application, tap the magnifying glass on the three dots at the top right of the side and select the "Settings" item. Once you have entered the app settings menu, you need to scroll down, tap on "About Gallery" and tap repeatedly on the version of the app until the message "[Labs] appears on the screen. Gallery is enabled ".
Once this is done, you need to go back to the previous screen and locate the new “Gallery Labs” panel. Inside there are a series of "advanced settings" that normally cannot be exploited without activating this feature.

For quite some time! Or at least since OneUI 2.5 could be installed on the Note 8. And this thing I discovered by chance on the internet.
