Guys,
I am still having the AT&T OTA update failing at 32% after flashing my S5 back to stock using the ODIN files in the faq and in other posts.
I have flashed all 3 files successfully with Clearing cache and Factory data reset.
The files i flashed are:
AP_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CP_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CSC_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
When i try to update i get to 32% and then the update fails looks like i can not update the OTA to the latest version.
i have the stock firmware (G900AUCU1ANCE_G900AATT1ANCE_G900AUCU1ANCE_HOME.tar.md5) but will not flash because of the locked bootloader.
Has anyone run into this problem or can i use logcat to understand why the OTA is failing?

Any chance this works for N910W8, Canadian note 4?
Partial firmware didn't work, what did I do wrong?
I'm running the 6.0 version of Dynamic Pop and flashed the partial firmware with Odin and got stuck in a bootloop (although it passed). I was contemplating doing a factory reset and just flashing the full firmware, re-rooting, etc because I have everything backed up. But I decided to just flash TWRP and restore a nandroid for now. I also wasn't sure what flashing the full firmware would do given that Dynamic Pop is a mod of touchwiz.
I was under the impression that I could flash the partial firmware over a custom rom, is this not the case?
How would you recommend I proceed with flashing the latest firmware?

1: Do a full wipe including factory reset in twrp
2: Odin flash the full COD6 Lollipop N910T firmware
3: Odin flash twrp recovery
4: Go into twrp recovery and do a full wipe+factory reset
5: Don't reboot the phone until you do the next step first
6: Flash the dynamic v6 zip rom in twrp recovery
Note, no need to root, all zip file roms you flash in twrp are pre-rooted.
Good luck!

So it turns out that I'm already good to go. For some reason I thought that a nandroid would restore the old firmware, but I guess it didn't and as I said Odin did successfully flash the partial firmware, so that's pretty awesome.
Hello flash you seem super intelligent with the Note 4 on T-Mobile and I'm having issues with my Modem/Radio I am guessing after flashing to Stock COD6. I've tried everything from re downloading firmware and flashing via Odin to resetting my apn settings to flashing modems. To no avail have I fixed anything. The phone is brand new along with the sim card so it can't be that. When I first got the phone I was getting great 4g lte everywhere the problem started when I started flashing roms and flashed back to stock.. Please help if possible. God bless!
Are you have a pit for N910T?
Alright, so I used this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/att...to-root-g900aucu2aoa1-4-4-4-2-3-2015-t3021120 and after step 3 no my phone only boots up and says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
So I tried installing the stock 4.4.2 and that didn't work, ended up with errors like Fused 3 > binary 1 and Something 2 > binary 1.
I should mention I got the Lollipop OTA update awhile ago, so I was all the way up to date. I'm guessing the issue here is that I'd need the stock image for the version I had before I started messing around, but as far as I can tell that's not available.
Not sure what to do here, but for now I'm completely cut off from communication so I could use some help!

Odin flash the stock partitions .tar at the bottom of this OP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60012961
In the process of rooting my Galaxy S5 I ended up soft-bricking my phone so that it's now in a bootloop. At this point I just want to restore the phone to factory default but I'm having issues doing so.
The issue came when I tried to flash a ROM onto my device using Odin3 which was successful but then, on restart, I got this bootloop. I've now tried a few different ways to fix.
I've:
Cleared cache partition and user data
Tried to use Odin v3.10 to flash stock for different builds (G900VVRU1BOD5, G900VVZW1BOC4,G900VVZW1BOA8) (I believe the phone was on G900VVRU1BOD5 before the bootloop)
I was also stupid and didn't do a backup beforehand.
This thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53454972) seems to suggest that I need to flash the CP and CSC along with the AP but I haven't been able to locate these files.
Any help would be appreciated!
Errors
I guess I forgot to mention that when I attempt to flash the stock firmware I get a FAIL! (Auth) error from Odin almost immediately no matter which ROM I try.
I had this problem. After days of fighting it I went into the stock recovery and did a factory data reset and that fixed it.

are you trying to flash a ATT stock rom to your Verizon Phone??
Thanks for the replies. I have stock BL and I've tried the reset there and it hasn't helped.
I have a Verizon S5 and am using Verizon stock firmware. Looks like I accidentally posted this in the ATT S5 general section. Sorry...
Took the OTA update to 5.0 from stock. Decided I wanted to root, so I rebooted, wiped data/cache and then booted into download mode to downgrade to NE4 stock with odin. Flash NE4 in AP slot and now I get stuck at the S5 bootscreen (then it reboots into recovery). Tried flashing OA1 instead with the same result. No clue where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT
It looks like you can't downgrade from 5.0 so I've been looking for a G870AUCU2BOF3 in a form that I can use with odin but with no luck. I found the stock rooted firmware but I don't know how to use that with odin.
Okay, so I found the stock firmware file in cfg format from another thread. I renamed it to update.zip and put it on my micro sd card but I'm getting an I/O error when trying to read the SD card with Android Recovery.
Reformatted the SD card from NTFS to exFAT and put the update.zip on it again and now its verifying the update from android recovery. I'll update when I know if it worked.
There were a couple errors when trying to verify the update.zip file. Something errored in sideload (status 7).
Must have had the wrong cfg file because it was like 1.3 gigs and just failed all the time. Downloaded a 300 meg cfg file from a thread on XDA specific to the G870A and it worked. I have a usable phone again!

Here is a link for anyone who needs it.

Unfortunately not. I was able to flash stock 5.0 (OF3) to get back up and running but it isn't rootable.
Samsung Note 8
I experienced the dreaded "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed" error.
I have tried flashing with the stock firmware via Odin but the phone need to restart after finding the PIT. The problem is the restart, it is stuck in booting with the display "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed".
I also tried for bootloader but same thing, the phone need to restart after finding the PIT. Same boot loop error.
Any help?
Thanks a lot!

What rom you have? your note 8 is europe model? whats your steps before appear the issue? you flash wrong kernel? you disable the oem unlock from dev options? you try hard reset and soft reset with buttons compination before flash with odin? I resolve the issue before some months. I flash with odin my official samsung stock rom. Is possible your official stock rom to be broken. Download other official rom and try again. Take a look the video how flash with odin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLv1y5Pu61Q
Every device has different PIT file associated with its stock firmware. A correct PIT file is needed in order properly flash the stock firmware on your phone. PIT is similar to a hard disk on a PC system partition and dbdata partition.

I don't have the Exynos version, but there seems to be a lot of great information in the OP of this thread HERE. Your specific error message is mentioned in the OP too. Also, I believe he recommends some steps to take for someone who may have had the same PIT issue as you did in this comment HERE.

I was using REPULSA ROM and SmurfKernel, all were working fine.
I tried the Taimen 2.0 ROM with Notorious Kernel. I may have forgotten to enable OEM unlock before the system rebooted by itself (Taimen is not stable), then I encounter the issue. :'(

Apparently, these methods require restarting my phone, which currently is not possible because my phone cannot boot up and is stuck in boot loop showing the "Only official released.." error. :'(
Not sure if after waiting for 7 days will reset everything and can do recovery again.
Thank you.

Hey, my phone which is different model is in the same situation. Please tell me how did you solve it?
You need to download the official version and you can flash it via odin. Is very easy. Possible you download wrong official stock rom. Thats you cant boot correct. Download from this site https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-note8/SM-N950U/ and search for infos into this site https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3677072 Im 100% sure you dont flash correct. Note 8 is unbrickable.
