I bought a SGT P1000 2nd hand (unlocked from Orange UK) and it was working perfectly. I wanted to change the firmware as I am not keen on the branded orange firmware.
In my past experiences on mobile fone firmwares I am quite good. Anyway every firmware I try and fololw the guides for those firmwares I get always end up not able to boot from the Galaxy Tab Samsung screen.
all installs from Odin3 v1.7 are fine. even the Download logo on galaxy tab shows up but cant allways access back reboot area depending on firmware installed. but can never pass the Galaxy Tab Samsung screen.
I did not get any info from +#12345# <<<<---- i know i may have wrote that wrong) because i never checked i was lazy. so really I have no clue what firware i need to get exactly and any other bits i need.
so if anyone can advice i would be much appreciated my tab is

What is the model of your GT. Check the back of the unit which should start with P1000 then a letter.
Once you have that, then go to samfirmware.com and look for the correct ROM for your model and download.
Download Kies on your computer to make sure drivers are installed and unit is connecting to your PC.
Download Odin 1.7 and follow instructions with downloaded ROM.

and on the box it says P1000 PM

well I have gone to this page fwandroid.htm on that site you suggested
and all i could find is Samsung P1000 / Galaxy Tab
no extra in list which have PM in letters.
I enter the link and it takes me to Europe Samsung P1000 Firmwares.
but also which do i choose cause i have no idea which is the right firmware for me as i see a list combining of for an example

My GT is version P1000N so mine corresponds to America Australia Samsung P1000 Firmwares.
What I would do if I were in your situation, I would try to flash version P1000XXJMQ. By mistake I installed it on my device and it never worked because mine is from a different region but I was able to bring it to the correct firmware..
Go ahead and try it. Just make sure you know how to flash with odin, have a full battery and any other questions I'll be glad to see if I can be of any help to you.
By the way, your device appears to be from network carrier Play and from region Poland. You can confirm here samsunglettercode.htm in the site I mentioned earlier.

im in the same situation...i bought this tab from a friend...he ended up bricking it...he bought it from amazon and it only says GT-P1000...no letter...mine is unlocked as well and doing the same...so lost..how do i find out what
Does the unit even starts? Do you see the samsung logo? Can you go todownload mode?

mine does..
i can get mine to download mode and recovery mode...but i get errors in recov...i have another post that is more detailed....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1123123...its got pics of the errors...any ideas?
I suggest you guys look into GalaxyTab Android Development forum. There you will find all the information on how to flash, the correct roms for you're unit etc.

Hi, couldn´t find anything about this with the Search Engine so I am opening a new Thread.
Someone I know got a Samsung Galaxy S SCL I9003.
Well, the System is kinda bricked. Launcher Forcecloses at Boot and the System Crashes.
So we planned to Reflash the whole thing. But as we can´t get into the System I don´t know the exact modell name. Just what it shows when booting and that is "Samsung Galaxy S SCL I9003"
Now I can´t find any Firmwares for it. Just for the SL I9003. Well, I doubt those aren´t working with the SCL version, am I right?
So where can I get the Firmwares + Odin for this Device. Even better If you did know if SuperOneClick Root works for this Device and if there are any good CustomRoms...

you will have to do it manually using pc Odin. download the firmware you want to install and flash it
hello guys , im pretty new here and i have a issue with one samsung galaxy S I9000 Korean version I9000GSMH.
Well the phone was buyed like this and i wanted to fix the problems theat the phone had. I was a stuck on S i9000 screen and restart again and again etc. but when i discovered theat I9000GSMH was a korean version and the I9000 room is not supported i flashed with the I9000GSMH. repair kit.after flashing with odin and pit and other files. Now when i turn on the device its show a whird screen and don't enter any more on download mode or recovery. how can i fix this phone? please if anybody can help me out i well make a donation . tnks in advance.i attached a photo with the phone.
Hey! Guys, got another device with problems here. Here's my friend's Samsung Galaxy Tab GT P1010 that we wanted to upgrade to Gingerbread from Froyo. So, we used Odin in flashing. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to do the flashing because couldn't find CSC thing file. Where do get this?
