Can I just go into my files yellow folder and transfer my stock backed up rom that I backed up on my device using es file folder and move it to my SD card for I can keep it just in case I ever want to reinstall it on my device again? If yes how do I go about doing that?are would it be better to backup my roms to Dropbox or drive, etc?I don't have a computer so I have to use my device to do it.which way is the best way could you please explain the easiest way to do this process.I would greatly appreciate any help on doing this procedure. Thanks In advance!!!

I back mine directly to my sd card and back those up to my pc, so cloud in your case. Backups don't work between like devices, but on the same phone it can be a lifesaver.

[Q] Will I be able to back up saved games before flashing a ROM or wiping my device?

Subject says it all. I'm looking at flashing Cognition but I'm hesitant if I will lose all saved games. I have titanium backup but have only used it to removed at&t bloatware. Can I use that to backup saves? And if so.. how?

I use titanium backup and it has always restored my Angry Birds' saved games... I was three star-ing everything so I wasn't about to flash and lose it all either HAHA. I say use TiBu and you should be fine, though there are anomalies and I am not responsible for any lost saved games haha
Is there a "how-to" for titanium backup?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
TiBu -> Menu -> Batch -> Backup all user apps
Flash ODIN
Flash new rom (you can click wipe data, it doesnt delete your sd card stuff, in fact, i recommend it)
Install TiBu (if your rom doesn't have it included)
TiBu -> Menu -> Batch -> Restore all apps with data
Click install, install, install. Done.
If you're really anal (which i was for a while), put in an external sd card and copy the titaniumbackup folder from your root folder to the external sd card and then take it out. lol
Ah sweet. So if I'm understanding those steps... the internal sd card is not treated like internal ROM storage that is wiped when you flash your phone?

No, but if you did, for instance, an Odin 3 one click back to stock, and clicked the master clear button, or if you do a factory reset, etc., that would wipe the internal SD card. So, if your ocd like me, connect to your pc and mount the SD card, and transfer everything on it to the PC hard disk. Then repeat that whenever you're going to flash. Just in case, you know.
Backup all user apps or backup all user apps + system data?

Do all backup stuff. You can later select what to restore. You can go in and just restore browser favorites if you want.

Nope - unless your formatting your internal SDCard the backup should still be on the phone even if you Odin 1 Click back to stock.
And.. if your really paranoid - you could always move the backup to your computer's hard drive then pop it back on after you update/restore

You've been visiting naughty sites!
Try force stop before uninstalling.
Daily motion, lucky patcher, etc. I tried to force stop before uninstalling and that didn't work. No naughty sites.

Looks like these are on your SD card. Did you try backing up internal storage, removing external SD then delete? Might have to do some SD house cleaning!
No I haven't tried that. What would be the process?

Backup internal storage to PC, then go to settings/general/storage and select format SD card. Do the same with your external SD but use a card reader with your PC. Delete the apps again and reboot. Hopefully the rouge apps will not reappear. Then copy the files you know back into internal storage. Try not to over write anything in internal storage unless you're sure you know what it is. Same for external. Format SD card then copy back the files from the backup you made. If you're not sure about a file, don't copy it back to storage. Hopefully this will take care of the issue. It's also good to clean stuff from storage that serves no purpose. Good luck!

Just delete the secured android folder from your sd card

Everything you see in that directory when you view it on a computer.. You will loose all photos, music, games and any other personal data or apps you have downloaded or installed. You will basically have a new phone with only stock apps and data on it.
@Solarenemy68, thank you. Will I lose my root?

Root explorer and move the file. I would recommend you change ur back up location and make new ones on sd card tho. Sometimes you might get hicupp and end up in some deep crap.
