I use citrix to access a online program on a pc and have tried it on an ipad, but can't get it to work under android. I usually download the ica file from here -crlaurence.com/shower/showerapp.ica- I can open it but citrix just closes.
I would like to start using my table instead of a laptop. Any help would be appreciated.
It sounds like citrix isnt playing nice. Do you get any errors? Can you post a log of what happens? Is the citrix server set up to connect to android?

I think that it might not be set up for android. No error just says please wait, then it goes away.
has anyone tried this or gotten it to work, it installs without error makes the initial connection to our server giving me the privacy disclaimer then throws the error about not being able to find the lun.ko driver. any ideas and also can someone explain what the lun.ko does.

Do you mean tun.ko? its the vpn tunnel kernel module. Are you rooted?

I am rooted and on 3.2 update. I have any connect installed, but when I go to connect get an error saying I don't have the tun.ko drivers.
I have tried both Kernals that are available, and even installed the tun.ko file with them, and still can't connect.
Of course the only iPad in the office can connect with no issues

Jumping in, with your indulgence please, as this is related. Where did you find the Anyconnect client for the Xoom? I'm not looking for warez. But, I asked our IT folks and they didn't know of one. If there's a legit source for it, I'd appreciate a pointer please. They directed me to try using the built-in VPN configurations (either of the ipsec protocols) but no joy yet...
On a whim, and after some further reading on a Cisco forum, I tried to download and install the new Samsung version of Anyconnect which is on the market. Unfortunately, installation fails. Just letting others know in case they were thinking of trying the same thing. BTW, I'm stock 3G.
So, still no VPN joy with my work's Cisco setup...

anyconnect for root users
That's the one I've tried, but I think there's something wrong on the server side as I can't connect at present.
I do know on the back end your Cisco ASA has to have the mobility license in order to be able to connect with your tablets.
We just installed this, but so far only i-Pads are able to connect
I might have to make the jump over to Tiamats new ROM, but want to wait till a few more bugs are worked out with it.
I was really hoping the Xoom was going to be able to connect with VPN, guess that's just not the case yet.

This installs fine for me (awesome, i didn't know cisco finally put this out). However, I can't figure out how to tell it what Certificate to use. Anyone know?
I got this working with help from a friend... basically the problem is that the documentation sucks hard. Anyconnect doesn't use the android certificate store, you need to import the cert into the Anyconnect certificate store. To do that, I stuck this webpage up on my webserver:
Code:
<html>
anycon
</html>
Then go ahead and connect to that webpage and click the link. Anyconnect will pop up and allow you to import a certificate called mycert.p12 that is on the root of your sdcard.
Hey All, So I just put Google Now on my Droid 4 using this LifeHacker method:
http://lifehacker.com/5923288/get-google-now-on-your-rooted-ice-cream-sandwich-phone
I tried searching for the weater, that worked, but I had to type it because it dosen't give me the chance to speak. It stops like after a milli-second, and says to retry. Also when I try to access it from Holo Locker (Swipe up to Google) it says network error: cannot contect to network.
Also it shows the weather in C*, is there a way to change it to F*? I want to use this great feature. What other 4.1-4.2+ stuff can I load into my ICS device?
I get a "cannot load widget" error message on my tab, even though I have no widgets currently in use. I must have had one up at some point, but I have no idea what app it is or if the app is even installed anymore. I am at a complete loss of how to get rid of this error. Does anyone have any ideas?
hearthstone android is out only for tablets but installed it apk and obb it crashes on sign on screen Install the Xposed module "App Settings"
Enable "App Settings" in Xposed and find Hearthstone on the app list
Check the box that says "xlarge res."
But it still crashes ???

Try to change your build.prop settings. Such as ro.product.model. To values from a supported device.
I am having the same issue. I am using the same settings as other supported devices via App Settings in Xposed but no luck at the sign in window. It seems that the device meets the requirements as it no longer gets the 6 in screen error but as soon as I tap the screen the log in prompts for half a second then the app force closes. I got it working on my Note 2 with zero issues... It has to be something beyond the normal screen check thing.
Works even without root
I tried this version:

This zip contains everything you need. Including apk und obb files.
The readme told me what to do.
Actually very easy.

Did that work on the Note 4? I have it working on several other devices like my Note 2 BUT on my Note 4 it crashes when I "Click to proceed" for the log in screen. Everything seems really fluid up until that point though.
You need a mod apk to work with no 6 Inch

The goo.gl link doesn't work anymore.
Here is the direct link: http://ul.to/3gjvo0hs.
Should work with almost all devices.
Apk is moded - so display size doesn't matter.
