is your bootloader unlocked? otherwise you cant flash aosp based roms....maybe you flashed a wrong kernel or a dead rom..
1. Solution:
flash a custom rom (like CyanogenMod)
-Bootloader Unlock
- flash a custom kernel with a recovery (for exampel doomkernel)
-enter recovery (vol + button when sony logo appears
-install zip from sd card
-select the rom you put on the sd card
--> there are many good tutorials at youtube
2. revert back to stock via flashtool
very good tutorial: http://www.android-hilfe.de/anleitu...epariere-downgrade-upgrade-ich-mein-sony.html
any questions -> private message hope i could help

I decided to update my ace's firmware to KitKat using this ROM cm-11-20131229-UNOFFICIAL-cooper++XR.zip, so firstly I rooted the phone then i installed Clockwork Mod Recovery 6.0.4.6 to install said ROM. I did all the steps as normal, however when I rebooted the phone after the installation had taken place it was stuck on the cid boot up screen for 6+ hours which isn't normal, so I tried to start in recovery mode in order to reformat, when to my surprise I got a blue screen. To sum up I cant start the phone as it gets stuck on cid boot up logo and I cant go into recovery mode to reformat, are there any possible fixes? If there are I would be eternally grateful.
Cheers.

If you really need a kitkat version for your ace 5830, Just forget about the current scenario and please follow the steps
1. Firstly connect the phone into download mode to pc and flash stock firmware via odin
you can refer the link for this http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-in...mware-on-samsung-galaxy-ace-s5830-using-odin/
2. Install clockwork mode recovery(cwm) version 5 not 6
you can find the same via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18178563&postcount=13
( or ) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034145
From the above google drive link you will get the CWM recovery version 5 which named as recovery-clockwork-5.zip
3. You will get access to stock recovery after you finished flashing stock firmware via odin
4. I would suggest below the kitkat rom link which is able to flash it via CWM version 5
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2561861
5. Copy the kitkatrom.zip and cwm5.zip into sdcard
6. Enter stock recovery and update to cwm5.zip
7. Do factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache
8. Install the kitkatrom.zip via recovery
9. Finally reboot and Enjoy the Kitkat version
Hit thanks if I helped you.

Hello friends,
I need urgent help !!!
Yesterday one of my very close friend gave me his Note to upgrade to JB (he was on ICS. LF4 if I remember correct)
So I did following :
1. Downloaded couple of Custom ROMs and PhilZ 6.26.6 on to his phone (External SD)
2. Tried to boot into Recovery and voila.....his HOME button is not working. Anyways I booted and adb reboot recovery
3. Then I flashed PhilZ and it flashed successfully. Since I couldn't boot into Recovery without Home button I did Reboot System.
4. Stuck in N7000 Blackscreen and adb shows Device Offline
What I am planning to do now
1. Put device to DOWNLOAD mode through USB JIG
2. Flash Stock JB (Here's 2nd problem - download links are not working for Stock JB at least not Indian one Can somebody with fast internet plz upload it on dev host or Mediafire and share with us. Thanks !!! )
3. Reboot into Recovery and flash PhilZ
4. Flash Custom ROM
Am I doing things right? Is my direction correct?
I would still prefer if I somehow could boot in current OS, put some Custom Recovery and flash Custom ROM. Saving Stock ROM flash path and ODIN.
Plz help and advise !!!!!
Thanks !!!
You installed a kernel that doesn't fit to ICS. So it's no suprise the system doesn't boot. Install an ICS kernel and at least the system should start again.
And after that: give it back to your friend and let him repair the home button first. Don't risk being the fool who ruined his device.
Update: just read again and saw that right now you don't get a connect with adb. So yes, it seems to be the only solution to install an stock rom with Odin. After that I still would give it back for repair.

Can you give me link for safe ICS kernel ? Will this work http://www.mediafire.com/download/32ik5mg6bgg8q1d/PhilZ-cwm6-XXLRK-XEU-3.99.tar.md5
I need to boot in the current OS once to take backup of EFS (I heard JB wiped off EFS of few).
Thanks for coming forward to help !!!
Yes this is an ICS kernel with Philz recovery. Should work and give you the chance to reboot into the OS.
And a backup of EFS is a very good idea (after a repair in Thailand I'm using a developer imei).
Good luck.
k so this is what happened i hve a sony xperia z1 c6902 that is on 14.4.A.0.108 rooted through this thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/development/stock-update-to-14-4-0-108-t2802266
i hve an unlocked bootloader
after that i tried installing a rom - http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/development/rom-aicp-5-0-kk-4-4-4r2-unofficial-t2819206
so as the thread mentioned in its instructions
How to flash:
ROM has GAPPS, custom dpi & xposed persistance in between dirty flashes
Make sure you are either on any KitKat ROM (CM11, etc) or on 4.4.2 Sony based ROM and NOT on 4.3 (or older) Sony based ROM
Download the latest build
Download Gapps
Take a nandroid backup
Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
Flash ROM using any recovery
Flash Gapps
Reboot.
Enjoy!
since i did the full wipe using TWRP by check marking everything under advance wipe ive been stuck at the sony logo
i tried re-flashing the C6902_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf file through flashtool by connecting the device in flashmode (volume down + power) flash tool seems to do it fine i'll attach a screenshot below but im still stuck at the sony logo
i cannot access my TWRP or CWM recovery as when i press the vol down button nothing happens
please help me and i'll be eternally grateful
Thank You all!
That rom requires an unlocked bootloader. Have you unlocked the bootloader? I bet not.
Did you notice in the instructions of flashing that rom that you should take a nandroid backup?
OK then, flash a stock FTF, re-root and install recovery and then restore your backup.
If you did not take a backup, you just need to flash a stock FTF, re-root, install the ROM of your choice and set it back up again

Bottom of the OP, its always worth reading...

Do not connect the phone until it prompts you to do so.

I had problem with update to 14.4.A.0.108 by NUT, with flashing ftf - when done as should be: connect when asked, flashtool threw error and had no imei and no cell radio. Then I done like so: start flashtool, conneted phone in flashmode, then hit lighting button and started flashing process - no error.
So in my case I hed to do oppsite for what you say, don't know if this is 0.9.16.1 issue or anything else but it worked for me.
Hi there,
I've got a problem with my Z1. I am with 14.4.0.157 stock ROM, and locked BL.
I rooted it (working), then added Dual Recovery (working).
Then I tried to install DStriker ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/development/rom-dstrikerz1-kai-rom-1-0-t2928666).
With TWRP, at the end of Aroma installer, I unticked 'reboot now' then bim, black screen, nothing possible to do, nothing worked : stucked at black screen. I pushed hard power off button, then at reboot : stuck at Sony logo.
I searched this forum and found how to make it back : I went to flashtool then reflashed stock, all was working again.
I made all the root and recovery operations. All was working. Then I tried with CWM Recovery. After install/reboot (as asked in the installation instructions) : stuck at Sony logo.
So I made (once again) all modifications to flash stock/root/recovery. So I tried another custom ROM : iHAckers one (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2716182). Aroma working well, install OK then reboot : STUCK again at Sony Logo !
In conclusion : only stock ROMs seem to work on my phone (or the ones flashed with Flashtool), I can root and install Recovery, install ROMs from recovery too, but impossible to boot on these new ROMs.
Searching for a solution to install a new custom ROM.
Any help ?
I guess I found something :
- I changed the Dual recoveyr script with the last one (I thought I already had) : I used the last one from http://nut.xperia-files.com/
- I loaded and rooted before with 14.4.A.0.108 stock version.
I don't know which one solved the problem. I guess it is the recovery script, but I will do more tests, I believe it can help someone...
I will keep you up-to-date.
i've had the same problem. The solution i found is that i should start the operation from stock 14.1.G.1.534. whenever i used another stock version, phone got stuck at sony logo.

I think Xperia Z1 is against newer stock firmwares when we want to update.
So till I installed iHackers with the method I explained above (other stock firmware), I've never met the problem again.
I then flashed to Dstriker and no problem. I think there was something wrong when coming from stock/rooted/dual recovery/locked BL 14.4.A.0.157...
Best regards and happy new year all.

use flashtool and flash ftf for ur country. if you don't know how to use flashtool, you can find info about it in general section.
thank you for quick response but
Is there any other methods to use without flashing the ROM again
And what exactly I did wrong???
I really wanna get the back up work it will save me the efforts cuz I really have a slow connection
You didn't restore your TA partition, did you?
I faced the exact same problem a year ago after I restored my TA partition after unlocking BL.
If you did that, I see no way other than flashtool.
