[Q] Where should I buy the nexus 6 from ? - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi XDA,
Greetings from India
Just wanted to ask a quick question , the pre-orders are coming up soon in India so should I buy the nexus 6 from playstore directly or should I order it through flipkart ?
Will there be any difference (flipkart lists in-box moto earphones) and is there any added advantage if one buys from playstore.
Please advise .
Thanks
Edit : Nexus 5 users could provide an insight regd. the buy.

If the release in the US is any indication, avoid the Play Store.

Having the similar question. I will be rooting Nexus 6 when I get it so does the warranty get void after rooting for nexus devices in INDIA ??

[Q] Buying nexus one

Hi,
I'm making a trip to the US within a few weeks and I was hoping to buy a nexus one over there, because this will be cheaper rather than buying it in Europe.
Is it possible for a foreigner to buy a nexus one?
And I was wondering if an American Nexus (unlocked) will work in Europe?
I read somewhere that the US-version doesn't have multitouch. If so, is this fixable?
Thanks in advance
For your information
Google has stopped selling Nexus One and they're discontinued.
The only place you can look for is eBay or craiglist in which I don't think it would be any cheaper.
Besides, there is a rumor that Google is gonna sell Nexus Two by this Christmas
You can register as a developer and buy a brand new nexus one.
And it should work fine in Europe. Just check which frequency you wish to use for 3g in Europe because it may not be compatible.
They're out of stock. Unless you'll be in the states for a few months, u won't get it.... and by then the next Nexus phone will be out.
Try eBay or Craigslist. But I suggest you wait.

They are in stock right now.
Hmm, I hope they are still/again in stock when I arrive in the US (14th november).
Thanks for the answers anyway!
Do you need to be a developer to buy the nexus?
Isn't it possible to walk in a store and just buy the phone?

That was the problem with the initial release of the N1. They didn't sell via brick and mortar stores, only online. Because of this, the N1 sales suffered....so they say.
I saw it as a silver lining, meaning only a select few who know how to use this phone should have it lol...
Like others have said, try ebay or craigslist. Then have it shipped to a stateside residence that you will be at, maybe a relative or good friend. Just brainstorming....GL
+1 for Ebay...a friend just picked one up from there.

Importing Nexus 5 from USA to India

The Nexus 5 release date is drawing close. One thing we can be sure of is that it would take months for it to release in India. If google prices it right then it would fly off the shelves in no time and then would be out of stock for several days, as was the case with Nexus 4.
With this in my mind I am planning to order it from the US play store as soon as it goes on sale.
I created this thread so that we potential buyers in India can discuss the prospects of importing it.
Currently I can think of using HopShopGo to ship the device from US to India and using HDFC VCC for the play store purchase.
Let us discuss the alternatives and perhaps better methods to import the Nexus 5.

Question :
