Why 4.20.206.16? Your phone is 6.09.401.5, you can not use that ruu and there is no ruu you can use on that phone with S-ON

Remove IMEI and SERIALNO ! You don't want to share these numbers.
unlock your bootloader, flash twrp recovery 2.6.3.3, flash this [URL="http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=One_6.09.401.5_odexed.zip"]stock odexed rom[/URL] from custom recovery. Then flash back [URL="http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=Flash_recovery_6.09.401.5.rar"]the stock recovery for that version[/URL]

have you checked the MD5 value on the rom to confirm its not a bad download?
Wipe everything from recovery then format data, reboot recovery,, push the rom again and flash it. then flash the stock recovery so you'll be able to install the next ota update.

Use winmd5.exe, open the app and im sure youll find out how it Works ???? compare the value of your file vs the value written next to the download link. Both values must 100% match

THe phone will not be detected as an MTP device when booted in recovery.
You can use adb push or sideload when booted in recovery and your phone should be detected as "Android USB Device ---> My HTC"
If not, you have drivers issue and you'll have to install HTC drivers.

Hey all. A some time ago I rooted my phone, unlocked bootloader, no S-OFF, and installed HD Revolution, 31.6 or something and it worked great for a good two months. But now my phone got jammed, I booted it and it doesn't work. Can't access recovery or start the phone, when I go to bootloader and try to go to recovery, it says entering recovery and boots again. I've tried to install multiple RUU's via fastboot method but it won't work. I always get the message remote: 24 parsing android info file. Tried to relock bootloader and then it gives the error 12 parsing android info file error.
So where to now? Can't get adb to work, tried multiple ways. It could've been the solution to boot to recovery? Can't boot to recovery via fastboot. Any ideas?
Have you tried reflashing recovery via fastboot?
Can you boot to recovery via fastboot with a recovery img file stored on your PC?

I've tried reflashing multiple recoveries multiple times, and always did fastboot erase cache. Couldn't boot to recovery via fastboot command also, phone just jammed for 10minutes.
And I just figured out, I can't get adb working because I can't start my phone. Am I correct?

As said, I can't get adb to work. I think the phone should be started for it to work, but as said, I can't start it. Only available to bootloader etc.
I just want to know why the recovery won't work, I've installed many recoveries many time, everytime it says entering recovery, and then just boots. And boots again for a million times, but what is the reason?
I'm trying to boot the recovery through fastboot, but the phone just freezes. Well I'll wait for 30min and we'll see if it works. I doubt.
Is there any Roms or RUUs I could install straight from fastboot?
So is the problem that I've got hboot 1.55? And I can't downgrade it because I can't use adb. Where to now? Anyone?
According to other One users, this problem occures, if a wrong version recovery is used. I've tried every CWM version for every HTC One, international, verizon, AT&T and so on including touch versions but none of them works. So can anyone help me? I can't use adb at all.Anything to do or should I throw it out of the window?

yeah .. if you flashed a cdma recovery on your GSM phone you probably killed the partition structure and it's not easy to fix.
Their are a couple of guys here that can do it, but it's way over my head, ... maybe @nkk71 will help you

how about we start with a "fastboot getvar all" (only show us the first two characters of IMEI, MEID, and s/n) and also the link(s) of what you flashed.

I had this issue and is annoying how long it took to me fix. I had to try and get adb to work on several computers and eventually it did, from there I installed everything stock then unlocked the phone and root, install custom recovery and s-off with chosen rom. Now if you install twrp the latest version and sideload a Rom you will be good to go or get a usb otg. I was able to install custom recovery by adb but couldn't do anything else. I was able to sideload using twrp recovery in adb

I can't access recovery.
Hey guys,
i just wanted to install a new custom and wanted to do a clean install.
But I wiped also my system. So there is no OS installed anymore.
TWRP 2.3.6 is still accessable for me but how do I get a new OS to my phone?
I tryed via adb push but it says "error: device not" found.
the same with adb sideload.
In My Windows Device Manager the HTC show up with no valid driver.
Installing HTC SYN Software again didn´t helped either
Is there a chance to get it fixed somehow?
Did you do a backup through twrp? If not you can reinstall the stock rom or any custom rom by removing your sdcard put it in your computer, put the rom on it, pot it back in your phone, reboot to recovery, then install the stock rom for the custom ROM that you want. I hope this helps. If not pm me.
By sdcard I mean external sdcard.

Okay cool,
Driver is now installed and i check via "adb devices".
Can I now install just the custom rom or do I have to take a RUU?

custom ROM, sorry i linked you to my return to stock guide, but i just wanted you to use FAQ #2, instead of having to type it here again.
go ahead with adb push or adb sideload your custom ROM.

Enjoy and happy flashing
Hi all
I have a HTC One (M7). Its has been rooted and was running 4.3. Tried to update to 4.4 and flashed an Android Revolution HD ROM. Not sure if it was the wrong ROM or if I wasn't S-OFF. Now i am stuck on HTC boot screen. When i try to load into recovery it flashes up for a second and then goes back to HTC boot image.
Have tried to flash a new recovery using EZtoolkit - Flashed TWRP - didnt help, still cant get in.
Also used the toolkit to erase the cache but hasnt helped.
Any suggestions??

Yup..
Download this: http://www.androidruu.com/getdownlo..._P2_release_324936_signedma8j1sa3e2o09s35.zip
Unzip. Find the firmware.zip in the unzipped content, and flash it like this:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot
This *SHOULD* get your stock recovery back, you should be able to get back in STOCK recovery. Then, flash custom recovery, and you should be able to get back in TWRP recovery.
Then you will need to ADB push/ ADB Sideload a custom rom to your device, and get going. Stay with 4.3, until your device is booted and you have a chance to S-OFF.
Don't use toolkits.. Get used to using fastboot and adb.. Download fastboot and adb from here.. Read the guide. Once setup, from within the fastboot and adb folder, Shift*key and*right click*on the*folder. open Command window here..
Connect your phone to PC while in bootloader screen.
Make sure fastboot USB is shown on bootloader
Then type..
Fastboot devices. A seemingly random number should be shown.
If it is.. Type fastboot erase cache.
fastboot reboot
PS.. Make sure you are using TWRP 2.6.3.3.

Hello,
I did a mistake and wipe everything on my device (HTC One) : the only thing left is my custom recovery (TWRP).
I tried to flash a rom or a firmware or even a RUU but I can't get it done
I got the following errors :
- When trying to flash the RUU : error cannot load RUU.zip : not enough space
- When trying to flash a rom or a firmware : FAILED ( remote 24 parsing android_info fail)
Does anyone can help me out ? I'm supposed to send my HTC back to Orange service help but i can't without any OS installed.

The other issue you have is does it say TAMPERED and UNLOCKED in your bootloader, if so, your warranty is void, what are you sending your phone back to orange for ?
Do you have a link to the file i could use ?

Thank you

well there is this that you could try, but it says Orange france against it, its two steps back from what you already have on your phone.
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_2-24-73-1-zip/
Check file size and MD5 before using it, then push it to your SDcard and install, During installation, select to wipe data, flash stock radio and flash stock recovery, you should get OTA's then, however, It wont get rid of the flags.
However, once its done, you could try and get s-off to get rid of the flags, should be ok with that due to your low Hboot, and then reset the flags then s-on.
Ok just to be shure, when you say push it to the SDcart and install if i'm in fastboot mode and i do a fastboot flash zip will it work ?
I tried it but i get a FAILED (remote not allowed) while trying to write zip

no it wont.
you need to have TWRP recovery on your phone, recommended is 2.6.3.3, its the most problem free.
then enter TWRP recovery, main screen only.
download the Guru Reset file (I just checked and that is the right one for your phone)
put the zip in the same folder as adb and fastboot. and open a command window there.
with your phone plugged into the computer and in recovery main screen, type:
Code:
adb push file_name.zip /sdcard/
takes a while and will look unresponsive, but your cmd window will let you know when its done.
unplug your phone from the computer before flashing, select install inside recovery, and select the file from the list, swipe to begin install.
It's a nonsense, i'm in twrp in the main screen and i got a "error : device offline"...
And when i try to flash the recoevery to be sure it's not working "zip file signature error".

that means either your adb and fastboot are out of date or your drivers
did you type fastboot push or adb push ?

recovery is an img file not a zip file, recovery must be flashed in the bootloader using fastboot.
Well thanks to your help i managed to push the file to my phone but the zip installation failed because it couldn't open the zip file.
Do you have any idea about that ?

Check the file size and the md5 of the file before pushing it
You were right to tell me to look after the size of the file and to check the MD5.
It seems that the file wasn't complete. I've downloaded it again and now my HTC One is fully working.
Thank you very much for your help !!!

Also you can't flash lower version RUU because your device is s-on
