Yes, clear some storage
try to delete some old apps you don't use or maybe transfer photos to PC and then delete em.

Also try SDMaid to clean up some space.

Deleted some videos.
It helped !

[Q] App updates

well i downloaded a few apps from the market like facebook and angry birds but now i cant download/update apps from the market. those two apps have updates, can i update them a different way?
what do you mean you can't update them? They don't show up or you download them, try to install and you get errors?
Get the apk online, put it on your sd card and install it. If you can't find the apk, make a backup of it with your phone, transfer it to the sd card of your NC and install away. Manual ways, but they work.

it says its updating but nothing happens just like when i try to install something.
thanks for the tip.
I forgot to mention that i use dropbox to transfer from one device to the other when i need to. This will save you a lot of time.
Try clearing your market cache and google services framework (i think), it's posted somewhere. This should get you a fresh start.

[Q] Lumia offline maps problem

Hi,
first, sorry my english.
After Amber update (Lumia 720) my Here apps are not working anymore.
Running any app that uses the Here offline maps takes my Lumia to restart.
Is there any way/app for deleting maps without reading it? (The native one tries to read the map and the phone restarts too).
Other way would be hard reset. What prevents me of doing that is the whatsapp app data. To make an backup and then recover app data from it, I would need to sideload whatsapp (dev unlocked). The newest version I found is 2.8.0.0, which does not work anymore. So, an newer and working version of whatsapp to sideload would solve my problem too.
Any help? Tks.
The only thing that comes to my mind is via Settings -> Apps -> Maps, it doesn't show the maps, just which ones you installed and you can delete them.. however I don't know if it will crash too. Did you save them on an SD card?
For Whatsapp, maybe you could make a request for someone with an Ativ S, they should be able to extract it and send you the xap.
The Settings -> Apps -> Maps procedure takes me to instant phone restart, as the Here apps, and some other that uses the installed maps. And the maps are on Phone Memory.

* i set sd card for storing maps
* i downloaded maps again into sd card
and now i am able to use my apps.

Insufficient Storage - HTC ONE running Venon 5.0

I have very little installed and yet I am, getting the "Insufficient Storage" to install any apps. When I installed the ROM I moved all my old music, pics and videos over but I am still showing 20.80 GIG of storage available.
Also, my Agenda Widget is not picking up my calender. Dont know if they are related or not.
Help !!!!
If you have root access run Lucky Patcher to remove some files the apps left behind on your storage. It does it automatically when you open it.

Uninstalled com.android.support.calendar

I Uninstalled com.android.provider.calendar from my phone using titanium backup because I read on a forum it a was safe. Apparently it isn't because I keep getting a pop up saying it has stopped. Does anyone know a fix or have the apk they could post here? I can't find the apk anywhere and this is driving me insane.

Here you are. I hope you get it fixed.
I also had a problem similar, which was related to the calendar storage. I thought I can just download it from PlayStore, but no, that was a integral part of the system. I ended up getting that file from some other phone but with same Android version.

How do you re-install this? I made the same mistake. When I try to run the APK it just says "app not installed"?

I think you just copy this in your system app directory, or wherever it came from.
Oh, are you talking about calendar storage? I'll see if I can get that this afternoon.
Edit: Actually, this is not correct. I see that the structure is different now. Is this because the ART instead of being dalvik?
I pulled out the APK file using titanium backup. Maybe you can use titanium backup to restore it. Let me know if you need the calendar storage file.

Yeah I had that problem. Titanium backup was not restoring it either. It was just get stuck at 0 percent when restoring.
I ended up just restoring the whole system with Odin and re-rooting and then not being an idiot.
Thanks for the reply though.
