hello Nazz Mid
i will help you but about the detail of csc unkown refer here:http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s2-international/528572-what-does-mean.html so basically we have to unroot the device before ota update.but try flashing ics 4.0.3 with odin from here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679636 But dont update with kies or from the phone itself since the download can become corrupted and effect the rom.
hey darkshadow1997,
thx for helping me. but my phone never root and i update ICS using KIES.
so should i just follow your step reflash the stock rom using ODIN?
well try it and see if it fixes your problem.

[Q] Galaxy S III I9305 LTE - Modem baseband restore

Hi, guys! I have Samsung Galaxy S 3 LTE GT-i9305, without IMEI and baseband version...
I rooted my SGS 3 with ODIN but made a mistake.
First attempt - I have chosen partition "PHONE" instead of "PDA" in ODIN and flashed it...With CWM recovery file. This way I killed my modem baseband and lost IMEI...And now SGS 3 can not find any GSM network...(((
Second attempt - I have rooted it succesfully ( have chosen the right part i"PDA")
Now SGS 3 is working only as a PAD ( WiFi and Bluetooth are working) but no GSM network can be found.
Tried to flash it with full firmware(including modem rom and kernel) via ODIN. Everything finished succesfully. But when the phone is turned on after flashing - again NO IMEI, no BASEBAND Version...
Can somebody help me, please?
VERY APPRECIATED for ANY ADVISES and IDEAS

The solution is at the bottom of the first post. You need to download and flash the PARAM binary to your device and all will be well.

I also lost imei and modem on my 1 day old 9305 by flashing cwm for i9300 and hadn't backed up the imei.
I followed lyriquidperfections link and downloaded the software to my laptop.
When I ran the software it backed up the imei from somewhere on the phone I then ran restore and Param steps and all was restored succesfully. Phew what a relief that was!!!!
I then reflashed correct cwm and rom of choice and all was well.
Just follow the instructions on the page.
Thanks Lyriquidperfection.
I have same problem, tried the procedure on page 1. No luck! Sent back to service with counter reset, still waiting for collection.

[Q] : [i9000] Wifi switches off after 10 seconds following CF-Root

Hello, I've recently tried to root my girlfriend's phone and since doing so the wi-fi does not operate correctly.
The symptom of the issue is that after enabling wi-fi it takes about 10 seconds to indicate that it has switched on. The phone searches for wi-fi networks for about 10 seconds and then stops searching and turns off wi-fi.
The details of the phone are:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FIRMWARE VERSION : 2.3.5
BASEBAND : I9000NEJVB
KERNEL VERSION : 22.6.35.7-I9000NEJVK-CL649158
[email protected] #2
BUILD NUMBER : GINGERBREAD.NEJVK
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have attempted to use the following CF-Root versions:
CF-Root-XW_XEE_JVB-v3.1-CWM3RFS
CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVK-v3.1-CWM3RFS
CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVK-v2.8-CWM3RFS
CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVR-v4.1-CWM3RFS
I have been using Odin3 v3.07.
Any help would be appreciated, even if it to get the phone back to factory standard with working wi-fi would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Andy.

Thanks, is it the FLASH JVU 2.3.6 BEFORE CUSTOM ROM section I need to follow?
If you want it back to stock then follow the Section :
HOW TO GUIDE : TUTORIAL TO FLASH 2.3.6 JVU + ROOT BEFORE INSTALLING CUSTOM ROM
To Be safe when ODIN opens up put in the PIT File in PIT also and make sure all 3 are ticked on the left side
Re-Partition / Auto Reboot and Reset Time.
Then put your 3 files in PDA / Modem / CSC and hit start... GUIDE explains this
Good luck

Thanks mate, getting it back to stock worked a treat. Unfortunately the CF-Root package failed and I had to apply JVU again to get it working again - much better off than I was anyway
But I do need to root the phone to unlock it, so I might look into other CR-Root versions that may be compatible.
Any suggestions welcome though, thanks again.
Andy.

In cm11 kk mode I see that your baseband is registered as unknown. Baseband is your modem which allows u to receive mobile connection thus data connection. Again I urge you to find and download a modem from all modem thread by spacetaxi, XXLT3 recommended and flash it in recovery. After that recheck your baseband info.
In carbon I see that your baseband is registered properly. Were u still unable to connect to network?
