Hi all,
Do you have a remote program android device with the Windows operating system ??
if you have , what the program for android and what program to the window ,
And I want this program to run properly using static or dynamic internet .
* Note ( I do not want my android root program )
Thanks in advance sorry if my english is not good.
Without having root, your options are really limited. I managed to have a good remote control via USB or Wi-FI using VMLite, but it needs root to work at its best.
If via Usb you could try MyMobiler on Windows.
If via internet Team Viewer should do the trick, you have to install Team Viewer on the Phone and on the Pc.
These 2 apps shouldn't require root

when I connect to computer in android system,my pC(windows 7 system) cant install the XDA driver.I want to x1 andoid system connect to the pc so that I can manage files and sync some date with my computer. what should I do now?? anyone can help me.thank you!!!!! PS:I use this android now.
Best Android build until now for the XPERIA X1 [Fast & Stable]
Build: 2.2.1 Froyo
Kernel: Sp3dev
You should use Neopeeks builds(superfroyo , CM 6.0 , Cm6.1 , FRG83) if you want to connect phone and pc .
ok,thank you very much. Are you use X1 Android for daily use or just for test and have some fun? Anyway,I find the x1 android system getting better and smoother.I am a college student ,not have so much money to buy a new cellphone.X1 still can do a good job.
It looks nepeek's builds have working USB, however I can't get it to re-mount after connecting to my computer, so you still have to reboot if you want to access any contents on your card..
You cannot use mass storage, only adb mode. At least i can't.

you can, neopeek's builds seem to work. But it won't mount the SD card after you're finished. Just be sure to disable USB debugging.
Me too.I can not sync with my pc, can not sync with mac osx too. why?
In pc,i had install android driver, but software can not find my phone, in mac can find, but can not sync.
There is no USB sync in android. At least not without 3rd party software.
So we have no XDA usb driver for Andriod? ???Oh,No.

If you installed Dell Sync correctly and the Fastboot and ADB drivers correctly the your problem is driver related.... Do you not see a yellow exclamation in your device manager for you to update the driver?
You should probably be install the Android SDK with the Google USB drivers also

I believe you are trying to connect your Streak 7 to your computer so that you can transfer musics and files onto your Streak 7, right? If that is the case, Honeycomb does not support USB as mass disk device. You need to upgrade to Win 7 or use an app from the marketplace to do this.
Windows XP does not support MTP natively, you have to do a bunch of driver crap to get it to work.

You need the WMP11 runtimes (as that has MTP support).
Then you need the specific mtp driver for the S7, which is included in Fastboot+ADB.zip
It's much easier just to use an app and do a wireless transfer.
All HC and newer devices only officially support MTP
(at least that's what goog wants, new devices that dont support MTP are in the minority)
I believe the WMP11 runtimes are offered via windows update, the only thing you need to specifically download are the device specific mtp drivers.
(They're not even drivers per-se, you can force install a generic mtp driver and it'll work fine, but that's besides the point)

Yes,i was trying to connect my Streak 7 to computer that has windows XP professional,so that i can transfer musics and files onto Streak 7 honeycomb 3.2.
If i upgrade to Win 7 does the device show up in my computer ?
And if you say i need to use an app from the marketplace to do this. what is the App that i need to download on device ? and even if i download it on the device does that make the device recognizable on my computer on XP ?
Please, educate me as not always i have internet connection and would like to transfer files like music and books to the DS7 from a computer thats not on internet network.
Thanks

If you have Win 7, just plug the DS7 in and it will be recognized as an MTP device in Windows Explorer or the Devices and Printers folder.
Or you can use an app like Wifi File Explorer or File Expert to wirelessly transfer file to/from your computer and your DS7. You need to have a Wifi network. Consult instructions and support through these apps on how to use them.
Yes I was able to see the DS7 in my computer on windows 7,and was able to transfer musica and movies but, when i transfer books they get transferred but not visible on the device unless i open them a App Called "Quick Office" where it shows all the loaded files on DS7,any idea how to get them as different folder or see them seperately ,Also i saw the drivers.zip but did not extract it as did not feel the use of it !is there a specif use of it!
Hi Friends,
I am new to Android Development, so i created a simple app in Eclipse using ADT (On Ubuntu), now i want to deploy it on my Samsung Galaxy Note (ICS 4.03)
I have created the app using the correct api version (15), however i am unable to see my connected phone as a target to run my app on.
Upon further investigation i ran lsusb to check if my android has been detected, however i cant see the phone anywhere in the list.
I have set the USB Debugging Option.
My Question is, how do i detect if my android phone has been detected by Ubuntu, i can see that the phone is charging but how do i check if the mobile is ready to receive data in the form of apk's for deploying the app ?
Thanks,
Abhishek

I was wondering if it is possible to transfer files from my Z1 to a linux desktop without installing any softwares?
Currently I think I am unable to do so because the option of USB Connection Mode is greyed out, rendering me unable to do anything about it unless I install the software (as depicted here)
And thus, are there any 3rd party apps that I can install or tweak some settings in my phone so that I can transfer files?

Most devices nowadays (if not all of them) use MTP to transfer files from and to the device. MTP is not well supported under Linux as far as I'm aware, there are a couple of guides out there to get it working, you shouldn't have too many issues finding those by using Google.
Personally I prefer to use ADB to transfer files between my device and my desktop, you'll have to have some experience working with the terminal, it's not hard though.
how do you mount a windows phone 8 as drive? (etc: e:/) i want to get import some app data and change my other phone to windows phone
You don't, unless you have a (very rare and not available for sale) engineering/development device. Retail WP8 devices use Media Transfer Protocol (MTP, same as cameras and many MP3 players). You can browse part of the filesystem using Windows Explorer, and upload or download files from those parts that you can access, but you aren't directly interacting with anything that appears as a file system so you can't mount it as a drive.
@ Goodday
is that the same reason thats why you cant reach the files with the commandpromt from your pc?
I have beeing playing with the older version of windowsexplorer app......
The one you can use the cmd line..................i wanted to try the same from my pc but....no go.
just curious
Correct, CMD does not support MTP devices. Windows Explorer and a few other programs (Total Commander has a plugin for it, I think) can access MTP, but CMD only supports things that can be specified by UNC, and that doesn't include MTP.
EDIT: it's possible to actually run CMD on your phone, and access it using Telnet. You currently have to use an app sandbox (the CMD binary isn't signed, so far as I can tell, and therefore can't be run outside a sandbox) so the privileges are pretty limited even with capability-unlock and are minimal without it, but it's possible nonetheless.
so if it isn't possible to mount windows phone as drive, what about emulator on a phone? does it works?

As GoodDayToDie already stated in his previous post, it's not possible.
