[Q] Samsung Galaxy Ace GT - S5830 boot loop and error. - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Firstly, I apologize if this is in the wrong spot.
I'll just get to the point.
So about 6 months ago I was using the Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 (Aus) and as it has a terrible internal memory, I decided to root it and try to get some of the unwanted apps off. Worked like a charm, nothing wrong until I had to take the battery out as it froze one time and now I am stuck with a boot loop -.-
I tried looking into trying to fix it like I had in the past but I got frustrated and gave up. Now in current time, I want to try to fix it and get it working again. So I got the stock firmware as well as the latest version of CWM for it and the recommended version of Odin, I get the phone into download mode and then come across an issue where my laptop says that it's connected (while I have Odin up) but is an unrecognizable device. First thing I do is try to factory reset it through the recovery menu but I get the error- E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block.mmcblk0p2
I did a google search on both the boot loop and the error but I can't do anything people have said to do/try as my laptop isn't letting it be a recognizable device
I have done everything I've read in the past and have learned from past experiences but no luck. So what can I do to get the phone to work again?
If anyone can, give the method with pictures as well as I can do it better through pictures rather than reading it and hoping all goes well
Thanks

Try to carry out the sd card, then use odin to flash ROM Stock again;
after that do in recovery stock a factory rest and wipe cache partition.

What do you mean by carry out the sd card? That's all I'm not understanding, sorry.
And I apologise for the lack of reply, haven't had any wifi since I made this post.

remove the sd card and flash the stock rom

I've done that but my laptop just says USB device not recognized and because of that, Odin can't pick up the phone. This is the only issue I'm having now.

It means that your laptop doesn't recognize your Galaxy Ace, try to install usb drivers again.
alternatively, if you are able to go in revovery mode (CWM):
format the sd-card from the laptop; create a new fat32 partition (primary) and copy on it Cyanogenmod 7.2;
inser the card in your ACE and flash it from recovery;
later you can re-install usb driver on laptop and flash stock rom.

Well from what you said above it seems that somethings wrong with the phones internal memory and not the sd-card. If you are having CWM recovery(the latest one) you can do this-
I assume that your phone is rooted and with CWM installed.
Download any custom rom
Boot into CWM.
Select wipe data reset and you ll see an option saying 'clean wipe to install a new rom' (something like this)
Install zip from sdcard and select the downloaded rom.
Report back if any problem.
All the best.

I've done the custom ROM part, I used Cyanogenmod 7.2 as daniga74 suggested.
But I'm still getting this error message when I tried to wipe data/factory reset in the CWM recovery menu: E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block.mmcblk0p2
Here's a picture of it.
I apologize for it being rotated, the original picture isn't.

Maybe your internal partitions are corrupted, try to flash a fresh STOCK rom via Odin and start again (Root+CWM5.0.2.6+Custom ROM)

Before flash CM 7.2, try to format system and data partition from CWM (advanced menu);
if the operation was successfully flash the rom.

The error says "It fails to format sdext". Because, you don't have a sdext partition. Don't worry about it. It is normal.

USB not recognized
are you using Win 8 or 8.1 on your laptop? Because win 8 / 8.1 cant work with samsung driver for s5830 via Odin. You must try it on older OS like win 7 to flash stock ROM.

Late reply/update
Sorry about the reply, haven't had much time to check on this as I've been moving and now have to use public wifi -.-
I have seemed to be able to get the Cyanogenmod to work and act as an OS for now, it's not what I was hoping for but it's letting me use the phone for now and that's good enough for me. Will have to properly flash it when I get the chance to and when I have a Win 7 computer to use, thank you gaineeg for pointing that out. It now makes more sense as to why it never picked up on my laptop (Win 8.1) but it did on my dads computer (Win 7).

Well if your laptop doesnt recognize the device you will need to install the latest drivers of samsung device drivers. And then manually update device drivers from unknown device to adb sooner device. Then try flashing using odin.

Need help with internal storage!

Well guys....i think this problem stems from me prematurely removing the usb cord. I Understand that. But here is the other couple of predicaments. lol Ok i'm on ICS Stunna 4.3 ......well after something went wrong i'm unable to "repair" my internal storage. Everything still works smooth....but i can't add things to my internal card. Every time i hook up to the computer it says it needs to scan and fix the card.Well the problem is starts to fix it.....but never does....progress bar never finishes. Tried this on 3 different computers. Nothing. So try to install a different rom....i have some on my internal and external. Always aborts in cmw....never finishes. So on top of all this Stunna has started acting odd. Likely read errors.....but problem is i can't switch roms! lol I have tried everything. I was wondering should i format both cards? But if i do that how can i back everything up if i can't access my card? Any help would be appreciated guys. Hoping i don't have to Odin back to stock.
Cliffs- Internal storage won't repair on any computer-Can't install anything in CMW because of it
I have the exact same problem now, as you do. CWM can't install any .zip files, I can't flash Abyss kernel, so it's just stuck in that end.
I installed ICS Stunner 4.5 coming from GB with full wipe. This happened to me after I tried to copy some files over to external SD Card and it failed, seemed like the phone froze (SOD), so I figured flashing another modem would do the trick (read it in ICS Stunner thread's 1st post). Tried to transfer the file over a cable, but same thing happened. After rebooting I just grabbed it from dropbox and installed the modem successfully. I went ahead to try and fix the mounting problem, so I plug in the cable and it offers me to scan and fix both partitions (internal and external). External card finishes successfully, but not the internal one. And after that I'm in the same situation as OP.
Any ideas anyone?
Enable usb debugging(setting-appl-development)
Connect to pc
Select to copy file to fr computer from notification
You will find separate drive letter for int n ext card
Rt click on int sd card letter n format(you can backup imp data to pc b4 this)
Hope it shud b fixed

Gonna try it now. Have lots of pictures to backup first tho
EDIT: Same thing happens as with scan and fix procedure. It starts and just sits there, nothing happens. When I try to stop "USB Storage in use" it just shows the spinner and hangs in there. Only holding the power button helps solve this. My guess is something in the internal SD card partition is broken... just can't say what or how to fix it.

Same problem^^^^ Not sure what to do about all this
Short story:
Formatting didn't work.
Long story:
Okay, so following the idea to format the internal sd card's partition, I achieved it not through Windows format dialog, but through the half-broken CWM. Both my SD Cards were formated (internal and external) in the process. So since I used the external one for backing up important info I had to use [email protected] UNDELETE to get it back (after booting to ICS). In the process the native SD Card mount service seemed like broken, I had to perform a few hard resets. Hangs seemed to occur whenever I tried writing to one of the cards. I downloaded multi-mount SD card app from Play Store and transfered AbyssKernel's .zip and now when I try to install it from CWM it says
Installing: /sdcard/AbyssNotekernel42RedTouchOriginalLogo.zip

And that's it... so basically back to the start. Any more ideas?
Please help if you have any ideas on what might work. Us 2 guys are in trouble...lol
I don't know if this will help or not but give it a try.
Enter into the download mode and flash any stock firmware using PC Odin. This way you don't need to access any of the cards. After flashing stock ROM, try fixing the internal SD again and if it still doesn't fix, send in your note to Samsung for repairs.
Sounds too simple to be working though but worth a shot.

Well for now the phone works, but it's stuck on ICS Stunner. I was thinking to use PC Odin or Mobile ODIN, but what if it doesn't work because the partition is corrupted in some way (as it is now, because CWM can't flash anything).
I'd like to hear more insight before I go the odin-way

I'm downloading an old GB rom myself..
While I am, I can share a thought: I feel that ICS is not yet ready.. at least not for me. Feels nice and fast but buggy USB transfers is a big no-go for me. Also after trying AOSP derived ROM, I decided to wait for a good Samsung edition ICS because all the little tweaks add a good feeling to the experience, I tend to miss them on AOSP or AOKP or w/e

Oooh thanks! Didn't know this. So now I'm pretty confident because if flashing conventionally fails I'll just repartition and get rid of all the partition errors. What do you know, I feel like I learned something new today
SOB! Just did the whole Odin to stock thing and i am stuck in a bootloop! lol
I think my problem is used a .tar instead of .pit.....where can i get the .pit?
Ye same happened to me. Reboot to recovery (volume up + home + power) and do a data wipe/factory reset. After that it boots. Rooted and flashed CWM just fine after that, copying my old GB nandroid backup to SD card as I write

Too bad for me, since I had recovered the latest nandroid with undelete software (cus external sd was accidentally formatted) and now I'm getting a MD5 mismatch Guess I might as well start fresh now, since the last good backup is like 2 months old... Another lesson for me.. always keep your nandroids safe

Yeah. After quite a time of failed attempts we succeeded. ODIN > Stock GB ROM > ROOT + CMW > Anything you like. No re-partitioning was needed in the process
i have same problem but more complicated. iam on stock GB and its happened after flash bad kernel
the case in detail's :
i flashed wrong kernel on my device previously and now when iam trying to flash another kernel even use ODIN or CWM everything going well and completed but when check i found the old kernel still. i tried many times with same results and no error .
- system can read/write/mount the internal memory but the new pasted files deleted after restart. external card behave normal and i can preform flash using files pasted on it.
- in CWM wipe/format/flash operations running well but no effect on device even restarted to CWM only.
- device has yellow triangle. is it effected?
- the devil kernel stacked in machine is 2.6.35.7-gb4846d2 [email protected] #2 and the build no. is jpkj4
system running normal but cannot keep any changes i do if restarted.
-system rooted and no problem with root
-can access adb
- ODIN behave same CWM, operation work but no change.
can anyone help me guys?
i did repartition the memory useing PIT for note butno change also
thank you all in advance

so my brother brought me his semi bricked n7000 "btw i searched and googled"

so my brother brought me his semi bricked n7000 "btw i searched and googled"
well, yesterday my brother brought me his cellphone which doesn't boot anymore, he wanned to install a custom rom since he saw that i have a fast one (galaxy s I)
so when i asked him what he did , he said he followed all the steps in rootgalaxynoteDOTcom/galaxy-note-roms/kingdroid-ics-rom-v3-0-for-galaxy-note-gt-n7000-best-ics-romtouchwiz-ux/[/url]
but then, his phone didn't boot, so he wiped - reset factory setting, which i read is a BIG NO when you're flashing ICS.
so whats done is done, i am trying to get it back , i can boot in recovery mode/download mode ... i tried out many kernels like AbyssNotekernel42RedTouchCustomLogo or speedmod, and downloaded at least 4 or 5 GB stock roms.
sadly , if odin flash is successful, it stuck on (samsung galaxy note gt-n7000) black srcreen, reboots few times then stays still...
if the odin flash wasn't successful , it keeps stuck on data.img and never goes beyond that .
i did all the steps i could find, wiped data after installed stock GB rom and rebooted, nothing worked
i even used rogue_ET-recoveryonly , and i think it went along format all the way, but still nothing happened after that.
the only thing i haven't tried yet was the repartition + pit file, i couldn't find the PIT , most of the roms have pda/modem/csc ... so if anyone can help out, i would really appreciate it ..
thanks
First thing you should do is check other threads about that around here.
If you can get it into download mode, you could give flashing with Odin a try. If it doesn't get stuck at factory.fs, then you're not superbricked.
If it does get stuck, then you have 2 more hopes:
- HOPE 1
- HOPE 2
If those don't work either...I'm afraid it's off to the Samsung Service center for a shiny new motherboard.
Best of luck to you and hope you get your Note up and running as soon as possible...
thanks, no it doesn't get stuck at factoryfs at all , i did check out most of the threads here, and most of them say "go back to GB with odin and if its stuck on samsung gt-n7000 boot screen just go back with recovery mode and then wipe data / cache " but never worked, so i thought i should ask around here
i'll check out the threads you posted and see what i can come up with
weird, i used the 16gb pit - repartition (check)
and i flashed it with SGN_XX_OXA_KJ1_FACTORYFS through odin.
and its still the same, the flashing with odin was successful and everything went fine, no hanging , no delays or what so ever. after it restarts its stuck on the black samsung galaxy note gt-n7000 screen
im gonna wipe data / cache again but i doubt that would fix anything.
so any idea what could be wrong? specially when the flashing process went fine?
i've already tried like 4 stock roms ,
arabic uae , europe , saudia and the SGN_XX_OXA_KJ1_FACTORYFS
i wonder if i need to put something in boot space in odin "just a thought"
ive tried downloading roms from here [STOCK ROMS] N7000 All stock ROMs + install + Root guide All at 1place,Latest ICS LQ3
and here [STOCK ODEX PRE ROOTED ROMs] for Odin PC no counter & triangle
any ideas?
For OP:
If you are not stucking while flashing from PC Odin then you are not superbricked.
I think you got corrupted /system or other partition; I saw another thread where OP was getting this sort of hang due to filesystem corruption which can't mount.
Entropy512 gave simple dd command based solution for erasing initial 1MB of partition.
Try searching for corrupted filesystem/partition related information. I can't recall exact thread title, sorry.
I hope this will help.
I found the post/thread for you to check: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27102526&postcount=16

Should try to install/reinstall samsung usb driver package. or try reinstall Kies also provide drivers for Note.
If driver is install properly: when connect with PC using usb cable it need to be shown under hardware management as something like "android composite adb interface" or something like that.

Also are you trying to connect adb after booting the phone ? Means in a stuck state ? I think you can try enabling ADB thing from CWM rather than trying to boot phone fully.
hmm i can't find an option in CWM that suggests that , still searching
also im trying to find roms that i can install from CWM , are there any GB roms that can be directly installed from CWM ?
thanks.

Hi: I understand he means boot the phone into CWM and then connect to PC in that environment. adb need to be run from PC while the phone is booted into CWM recovery.
Still, most of the custom roms are in the .zip format and can be install using CWM. they just now become a bit more difficult to find since dev move on to ICS/CM9 roms. Still try to find some GB roms in the forum such as: rocket GB, litening GB, xtralite GB....
This is the link for Rocket rom GB. Better try v22 than v23.

Yes, recovery mode is in CWM. (in case you have not done it: Enter recovery by,from phone power off: pressing volumeup + home + power and release power when see samsung letter while still hole the other two buttons.)

hmm. that should be still the problem with usb driver. Have you checked under hardware management if it show the device as "samsung composite adb interface" yet?
kernel should not be the problem with connecting adb. It is the problem with usb driver for Note. Sometime Win7 have problem with driver. You may want to search for another package of samsung usb driver on the web.
I did put some links of GB roms in the post in the previous page. maybe try them first if any luck.
Also try to restart computer to see if the driver issues get solved.
Got to go. Hope that you can solve the problem. GL.

hmm. that should be still the problem with usb driver. Have you checked under hardware management if it show the device as "samsung composite adb interface" yet?
kernel should not be the problem with connecting adb. It is the problem with usb driver for Note. Sometime Win7 have problem with driver. You may want to search for another package of samsung usb driver on the web.

thanks, i restarted my pc , reinstalled kies, and now it shows under device manager
now i connect to the phone through adb , i appreciate you pointing it out
which method you think i should go for 1st? this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26285877&postcount=12
or unzipping a rom and then pushing it all through adb?
i think i'll go for removing and repartitioning manually, hopefully it'll work
thanks again guys , i'll post the updates here,
lol, my brother called me and he's like "if u can't fix it by the end of the night, fk it, dont bother yourself with it" but to be honest, im too stubborn, i hope i can fix it
looks like deleting and adding partitions back through parted kinda work, for the first time i was able to pass the boot screen after i installed rocketrom from CWM
however, its been 1/2 hour since im stuck on rocketrom loading screen it keeps looping and looping.. i wonder if i should wait more.. or should i try another rom?
finally got rid of the verification -.- was kinda annoying thats why i didn't bother editing posts,
anyways, rocketrom didn't work, so i decided to flash a stock rom instead , the flash through odin went fine, it was great to be able to wipe data without getting stuck , however, it keeps going though samsung animation over and over, i think im gonna leave it like this one the charger till morning, i wonder if it'll be the same
guess i have to google for "samsung loop" , i wonder why this keeps happening though -.-
-.- leaving it for 6 hours on samsung logo animation didn't do the trick , still looping when i woke up, so i guess i'll do some more search on why this is happening.
You have checked partitions and see no error that means the problem lies somewhere else, not partitions. I have no idea yet, but for me I would try some different roms. Small roms have more chance to work, that is the feedback I got from some people:
- try check rom in the link I sent
- try paranoid android which is CM9, or asylum
- extralite
cheers.

thanks buddy, i appreciate your help, the partition "USED" to give me error when i did the check 9 10 11 , but after removing the partition and reformatting them (and i also removed the cache partition) now its working fine "i suppose" i didn't do another check, but i might will now that you mention it.
i already tried rocket rom, didn't work, stock rom didn't work, so i'll give the others a try at least it doesn't get stuck on the boot screen, but its stuck on the animation logo which is an improvement
thanks again

I had the same issue after upgrade to US stock ICS and attempt to install CWM recovery resulted in a tablet that would not boot. Rebooted into recovery mode, rebooted from there to download mode and tried the Odin flash again using the US stock ICS. Each time I did this it got a bit further (as indicated by the download bar on the tablet screen) and eventually it succeeded. I am no expert so I completely fail to understand why this worked but it did.

Just like i said before.. In warning: Do not wipe or anything related to that if youre in ICS..
With stock kernel or stock recovery or One of them but you still in stock ICS boot.img wiping is risky..
if you use a safe recovery but your boot.img is not safe. ..or your boot.img is safe but recovery.img isnt. .
Your still have the emmc bug risk..
Stuck on system.img means odin not recognized your system partition.. Maybe corrupted or faulty..
Please read my warning in general section..

i took a thin box cutter blade and ran it around the edge of the screen while gently pushing out and pulling up... the screen easily separates from the back cover.... behind the screen is a white battery with small mutil colored wires...gently pull up the wires from the mainboard..... battery is now disconnected.... to put back just push those wires back down onto its connectors....
to completely remove there are screws running along the battery... and two ribbons...detach ribbons and unscrew battery

This thread saved my ass. I too was stuck at the system.img.
Tried to restore using ADB but no joy. I was still able to access the download mode so kept trying ODIN.
It turned out to be my USB 3.0 ports on my laptop.
As soon as I used my USB 2.0 ports on my docking station ODIN worked fine!

if odin hangs up halfway through the process, what u have to do is install stock recovery through odin.... then go in to recovery and format data...go back to odin and install clockwork recovery.... go back into recovery and mount system and mount data... next download a app called quick adb pusher on to pc select the rom u want to push... under destination type /data/media/ press send and install ur rom
Failed with Odin 3.09, worked with Odin 3.07
I don't know if this will help.
I needed to re-flash my SM-T310 with the Kitkat 4.4.2 Stock ROM. I found a page suggesting I used Odin 3.09 and the stock ROM pointed to from the Samsung site. I started the load, and saw the same problem, my Odin Log looked just like the one posted earlier. Out of sheer desperation, I started again using the version of Odin (3.07) I had previously used to load TWRP.
And it worked perfectly. Loaded the various components, rebooted, came up with the initial screen ... Phew !!
Maybe I just had some sort of nasty glitch, maybe Odin 3.07 is a bit less picky (!) I have no idea. All I know is it worked for me !!
I had this same problem - got stuck on system.img very near the end, stayed there for hours. Finally fixed it by attaching the usb cable to a different port *d'oh*
same problem stuck in system.img

[Q] whats this? i9001 bricked, damaged partition? cant wipe data, do factory reset.

Hi people,
i dont know where to go! i have read dozen of sites and post... am i right here?
my S+ i9001
PDA i9001xxkq7
Phone: i9001xxkpk
csc i9001dbtkp2
can:
boot in download mode
can boot recovery mode
can be flashed via odin
can NOT:
-boot to system (always hang or freeeze or shuts down when Samsung logo comes)
-data can not be wiped (Processbar starts but never really start doing something) CWM6. I had some other recoverys and they gave me some messages like can not accsess data/csc or something like these messages in other posts.
-can not do anything in recoverymode exepted, wipe cache.
-can not update zip
-can not gain accsess to sdcard ore sideby
-cant reboot in recovery.
i flashed with odin (and Aries.ops):
-broodROM_RC5
-the right StockROM
-phone seems to be bricked
-no access with Quickflash (dont know if debug mode was or is enabled)
i found some people with similar problems with other devices (i9000 // i9100), but not with the i9001. so i write it here.
always the answer was try a full wipe/reset, but i cant or dont know how to it when the recoverymod or stock recovery doesnt do it.
kind regards
Daniel

I9001 cant format data and emmc
Update,
i finally got an CWM running! aktually 5.5.0.4 but the 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 alsoworked at the end.
now all i cant do is, formatting data and/or mount/format emmc.
Plugged in via USB Cable to PC i can access (internal) sdcard and copy all zips i want. I also cann install them, but i cant wipe data.
i geuss there is an hardware issue, so that all these fine mods are biting on stone, trying to format the "partition"
This results in unbootable systems..i think
At least i tried cm-9-20130220-EXPERIMENTAL-ariesve-rc5 with kernel 3.00, no luck.
i this hardbricked? damaged? i geuss im close to the final. but wich one.....
last try is this hint :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173180
but ODIN crashes when trying the MD5 checksum
thanks for reading!
dan
...
tried to reduce the i9001reset.tar.md5 file with repacking it without the cache and system file. but the reset.zip still has 750mb and odin crashes checking the md5.
are there any other methods to check if the data partition or the emmc.ic is damaged? i cant format via CWM or stock recovery, results in endless process...
and Quickflasher also crashed trying to "wipe at start" mmcblk0p17 (data)
greetz from Berlin

yes, i tried but it did not work, neither from stock or custom ROM.
I'm having the exact same problems. It all started when I updated CWM to 6.0.2.8 as recomended by ivendor, in order to flash CM10. Since then I can't wipe data partition, and no matter what I flash (through both Odin and CWM), the phone doesn't boot anymore. Tried to restore original Samsung ROM, no success... Hasn't anyone figure it out? It seems a large number of user have dealt with this issue in the last days, perhaps the coder of CWM 6.0.2.8 should explain how to fix this mess.
I went to a local phone service, and they said they can't do anything, the whole internal memory has to be replaced. I can't believe this.
No solution?
I have exectly the same problem and i tried everything. I still can get to recovery and download mode, because i didnt mess with reseting broken partition. Can this be solved? I didnt find anyhing in threads, and it seems that a lot of people have this kind of problem now. It all happend on my s+ while i was trying to flash CM10 Beta4.
repair in warranty

the recovery you have used was compiled over a 3.0 kernel, it has a bug that brick phones, like the galaxy s2 and galaxy note.

I managed to "rescue" my eMMC-bricked phone by doing everything I could find about the eMMC brick bug killed my i9001. No root but I can live with that until someone comes up with a better fix.. Good luck, I wish I had a better step by step instruction list on how I did it but honestly I just frantically tried things over and over in different order and finally got it going.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2234489
I guess...
1. Get TWRP 2.2.2.1 or CWM 5.5.0.4/the new 2.6-based 6.0.2.8 CWM recovery flashed.
2. Use QuickWipe (link in my post to the OP).
3. Use ODIN 4.43 to flash that 1.4GB fixmev2.tar file (I did it at least 2-3 times during different stages)
4. Follow the instructions in the links in my post.
5. Good luck.
6. Wait for the devs to solve this problem permanently with new kernels and ROMs and thank them when they solve it.

EDIT: after it died last night (tried to force root permissions and it would no longer boot) and fiddling to get it back to working condition I tried flashing the file in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38671295&postcount=2) to reset partitions and the phone is now stone dead... a true brick.. absolutely nothing happens when I try to power up, enter recovery mode, whatever.. it's dead... stone cold..

I9001 bricked? Please Help!

Hey guys I've got some serious problems with my phone...
Today I wanted to flash the new recovery from ivendor on my brend new PC. Ive installed the "Samsung Driver for mobile phones" because I know that Kies won't work on CM10. Well so far so good. I flashed the new Recovery via ODIN. The phone rebootet normally after that like always. Than back on my Homescreen I was going to settings to do a factory reset including deleting all files from SD card. The phone rebooted again and than everything was going to hell...
Than the Android symbol showed up like always after a full wipe but that time the phone bootet into recovery directly and my recovery shows a lot of errors like E:cant' mount / cache/recovery/log E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p17. And my recovery background has this Android symbol which you can see in that link:
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XU5LJWLFf...AZ4/fiL5GNNDg6g/s1600/AndroidRedTriangle.jpeg
When trying to boot normaly my phone only boots till Samsung galaxy/Cyanogenmod screen and after 10-15 secound it goes off...
Please Help!
Cant help you alot, but try to get stock firmware and then root and flash your rom again. It should help you.

!!!!!!!!!!!
the most important thing:
you have an i9001
dont flash anything that is made for i9000
flash only things that are made for i9001
!!!!!!!!!!!
please try to flash a stable recovery via odin like clockworkmod 5.xyz.
you may find it in the CM9 thread by arco
edit: just found:

Greetings & good luck
Thanks guys for your help. I tryed all of that. Even flashing Stock ROM hasn't helped. Phone is bricked : /
does odin detects your i9001 when it shows the screen described in 1st post?
if you could do something with odin and if there are no hardware problems your phone is far away from bricked. (my opinion)
take a look at our wiki. you may find something to reset everything (partitions, bootloaders...)
good luck
well dude u r using s+ right..try flashing it through the recovery mode directly if u can access the card..or take a card reader and mount the cwm recovery and flash that and flash those zip files u want through external sd card..i dont trust odin much..maybe we can figure this out together if u didnt fix it yet.
I have exactly the same problem, no matter what I flash (with Odin/CWM) it no longer boots, and it fails to wipe data partition. Any idea how to repartition de data partition?
It never happend to me but I'll try to help you. I don't know if I'm allowed to put links on this forum but broodplank who is known on this forum for his sgs+ releases has a great tutorial on his site and u might wanna check it out. Google broodplank and acces his website, under the section tutorials you will find what you're looking for.
or look on his xda thread...
