I just have a question pertaining to the LCD/Digitizer assembly for the C6616. I'm thinking of purchasing one, and I would like to know if there are any differences parts-wise, as the model I may be getting has a broken screen and LCD. The dimensions are the same, but from what I noticed the weight was a few g difference, so I don't know if that means anything. I've tried searching for an answer, but cannot seem to locate anything. If anyone could give me some information on this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Currently, i have a $600 pile of garbage because I can't get a $20 part. I am hoping that someone one here might be able to help me out.
The piece I am looking for, i believe is referred to as the "Vibrator with Frame". The link below, is the only place I can find the piece, but after numerous emails, I get no response, not sure it's because I only speak english, or they only advertise it, but don't actually have the part
http://www.lunacommerce.com/269-google-nexus-one-vibrator-with-frame.html
There is a piece of electrical tape attached to this part, but underneath it lies the antena for GSM reception (wish I knew this beforehand), an orange colour.
So, does anyone on here have any idea how I could get this piece? Does anyone have a bricked nexus one wanting to sell any parts? PLEASE, ANYONE????????
I have contacted HTC, (unbelievably), they claim there is no parts department, so I can't get this part from them, unless I send in the phone (which I am not willing to do). I was thinking there must be some third party repair centers that might be able to get this as well, but they couldn't tell me of any.
Also, I don't need this thread to be full of comments suggesting I shouldn't had taken this apart to begin with, I realize my mistake. I am an electronics technologist by trade, I have taken apart many devices in my time, just had some unfortunate luck this time around.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Not to be unhelpful here, but when I read the title of this thread I thought you were looking for something toooooootally different.

Well, first off I just realized I should have posted this thread in Q&A section, sorry Moderators.
Trust me, I realize that (in reply to quoted comment), if you think about it though, my subject is the literal part I am looking for, what I need (the antenna), is attached to this part.
I never thought originally that this was the part I was looking for either, but this is the only way to explain it.
ive seen 3 sites for nexus one parts somewhere either in the Q and A or the accessories forums.
Found the part, problem solved!
Well, thanks to a pm I received, I was able to order this part through ebay. Had to spend a little more than I wanted, but at least now I can put this back together and have a working phone to sell.
To respond to the post above, yes there are many sites with "parts for Nexus One" phones, I have been to many, many sites. I wouldn't have posted such a detailed question to begin with if it was that easy. All of these "parts" sites, offer aftermarket accessories, not internal components, well besides the touchscreen and digitizer.
Anyways, problem solved (hopefully, not sure until it is installed I guess!)
As you could imagine, broke my screen recently. Just wondering if anyone has replaced their own screen, looking for instructions and source for new screen.

I could be wrong, but for the 2013 Moto X , Motorola gave one free screen replacement. I would think that they would do the same for the 2014... id contact MOTO and see what they say
I think if the don't replace it for free it is only $120 or so for them to replace it.

Broke mine and the total came up to about $135, replacement screens from reputable vendors are over $200. Normally I do it myself but I damaged the frame also so getting a refurb was a no brainer. I get all my parts from etradesupply dot com.

Screen replacements are not free and at best are $250 through Moto. There are some disqualifying factors why I can't/don't want to use Moto. I have searched high and low and cannot find anyone selling a new screen. Found a good teardown vid so if I had the screen it doesn't look super difficult to pull off.

Could you provide a link? I have been looking for a good teardown video. I've already seen this one which is OK. I was kind of hoping for a better one.

That was the same one I watched. I found it useful, but not really willing to do this ATM.
In the website says that the screen is only for XT1096, I dont know why? anyone knows? Will it work with a XT1097?
So I have had a Nexus 6 with a broken LCD sitting in a drawer for a while because screen prices (in addition to Motorola repair options) are much more than I would like, in addition to the phone running a custom ROM with an unlocked bootloader. So today I decided to look on ebay and screen prices are still pretty high, except this one.

Looks like this guy got his hands on one of those prototype LCD assemblies. I'm not sure who would part out and sell one of these but, here it is. I was wondering if this was worth a try or if I should just leave it dead in my drawer. The dude doesn't seem to know what he is selling but, mentions the ribbon cable is a bit short. If anyone can guide me on this, I would appreciate it.
EDIT: Meant to say Prototype rather than Developer, my apologies. If a mod wants to come through and fix the title, that would be great.
Thanks, TriguyRN

Assuming you can do the repair yourself, I would just shell out the extra bit of cash to get a legit LCD. But, if you want to take the risk to save a buck, nothing is holding you back. It did say something about flex cables being different, in which case you would have a bit of trouble. Cheers!
Can anyone post info about E4 plus battery? I would like to know its part number, size, maybe some photos on the electrical contacts.
Reason: I have some brand new left over batteries (also large around 4000mA) and I hope I can use them in E4+. I checked they have same voltage etc. I just need to know size/dimension and contact/terminal location.
I know, this is silly, but hey, why not? LOL,
Thanks anyway!
I don't know the specs you're looking for, but here's a teardown of the phone. Maybe comment on it asking for what you want to know?

EDIT: The model number is HE50.

Sure, why not? If it's to do with the S21U this is probably the best place.
You might edit the title in your first post to something more captivating like, "How do I interface a ceramic kiln to my S21U over I²C?"
Not sure I understand the reference to a "more captivating title", but as far as the phone here goes.
Got an s21 ultra, tmobile. Phone can't see any sim. I've TRIED all the OS related resets etc. Nothing works. Can't find a schematic other than the usual spammy looking ones in a google search. Nothing from Samsung.
I have the board out. It did have a hot spot on it while it was on. Removing a very small metal shield reveals an IC that has obvious high heat discoloration. Can't find any info in component. I see plenty of this model phone with the same problem for sale on auction sites.
Can I buy schematics/board level components for this phone?
No, you're not going to find any schematics.
If you have a good high res photo maybe somebody can tell you what the major parts.
I'd guess that the chance of getting everything working 100% is small.
You might be able to use it as an alarm clock or MP3 player or weather station.
I don't know e-sim!

Sorry, I really can't see anything from those photos. That appears to be the processor.
If it got really hot any of the BGA connections underneath it could have gotten wrecked/shorted.
I don't even know what the interface to a SIM is, but it could have been lost.
eSIMs are like SIMs except that they are soldered in. If you have one, you have one. If you don't, you don't.
Really hard to believe no one has any hardware info. Maybe I am in the wrong forum.
Any ideas?
