OnePlus One Camera App - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a working OnePlus One Camera app for the Nexus 6?

You can try the one from Kit Kat and see how it works on 5. but CM12S isn't released so there isn't a "L" version of it.

I will like the app to
I have a oneplus and a Nexus 6.
Im looking the camera app from Oneplus but to install it in my Nexus 6.

Here is what I would like to know. The OnePlus One and Nexus 6 have the same camera. The OnePlus One can do slow motion video. Has anyone managed to port the OnePlus One camera and system files to the CM for Nexus 6 to make the Nexus 6 have the same capabilities?

rom/kernel and cam percormance

i just got my nexus and its still on stock non root. but i remember when i was on lg optimus one, every rom/kernel i flashed made the cam performance lesser than stock. is it the same with our nexus? tia

No.

No. Its been said already but I'll elaborate. The camera will remain the same because the stock camera is AOSP. Because the different Roms get the camera from AOSP the camera will be the same. The beauty of having a nexus device is that anything from AOSP will work perfectly on our device.

N7 4.3 Bluetooth 4.0/Low-Energy

I remember reading that the original Nexus 7 had a Bluetooth Low-Energy compatible Broadcom chip, but that stock Android didn't have support for Bluetooth 4.0/LE. With the released 4.3 which labels 4.0/LE support as a key feature, has anyone running 4.3 managed to get BLE functioning or tested it at all?
Based on my tests, our last-gen Nexus 7s haven't got support for it with 4.3.
I use the API 18 and there is a BLE sample in SDK, I build it and put it into my nexus 7 with android 4.3. The BLEsample app show "BLE not support".

Like the Galaxy Nexus, the 7 was not FCC certified for BT4.0, only BT3.0.
The old 7 will NOT have BT4.0, even on Android 4.3 and up.
Might be possible using custom ROM. Like cynogenmod. I wish they could put support for that feature.

I think Bluetooth drivers are in the kernel not the rom

Stock Android?

After owning my Note 4 for a few days, I already miss stock Android found on Nexus devices. I'm really thinking about returning this and getting a Nexus 6 just for that reason.
Are there any good *fully working* (i.e. EVERY FEATURE WORKS) stock Android roms available for the Note 4? I'm not even talking Cyanogen here as even that is a bit too modded for my taste. I just like the simplicity of stock Nexus roms.

Cm12 just landed in the development threads, it's an alpha, but pretty smooth so far. I'm sure development will be pretty fast.

As I mentioned, I don't want Cyanogen. Just Nexus style AOSP.

Probably not going to be made for this device since AOSP styles (like Nexus 5 and below) are from 4.x firmwares.
Going forward not backward. Cyanogen is the closest you'll get.
Why buy a Note to rip out all its pen goodness? Just curious.

Change from CM. Also those camera features are for CM sold devices. Not all devices get the same options.

Like I said not all devices get the same features.
Also without the proper logs there is no telling. You will have to pull a logcat and then look for any errors. Normally it is xposed that is causing the issues.

There are hundreds of tut on how to pull a logcat. I personally stopped using CM or CM based roms a long time ago like any others.
