The only thing you can do with no PC input is clear cache and factory reset from recovery .. Do not Format DATA in recovery and Do Not Wipe /system or the phone will be bricked

There is a fix for enter recovery from off, but you'll need odin for it.
It doesn't boot normal? If it does, use terminal.
In terminal:
su
reboot recovery

No response from computer what so ever?
So..if you are sure it's not the cable that's faulty, i guess you have no choice but to take it to repair.
No connection to computer - no odin or adb.
No recovery mode by buttons.
No boot to system to enter recovery with terminal.

everything you said is right, and I sent it to repair they said board should be changed and that will coast almost the same to buy a new phone..
I heard there is a way to connect the phone directly from board to pc overriding usb adapter. do u have any Idea about this method? thank you

Yeah. With a jtag and some soldering on the board.
i8190 jtagpads.jpg Nothing you do without some skills.
As compare to see the accual pin size, though this is for another phone as i couldn't find a good one for i8190.
yes jtag, does anybody know how does jtag work on galaxy s3 mini,, i have some skills in soldering and wiring digrams
Anyone with the same issue ? I am stuck at the bootloader since I wiped out my system image I can get to the recovery but I don't have a way to transfer new ROM since phone wont detect USB (MTP).
I didn't have any image backed to restore to. Tried OTG cable/USB nothing worked
What are my options ?

Hi... Is data mounted and MTP enabled in TWRP?
Is your phone detected while in bootloader?
Try: fastboot devices
If phone is recognized, download stock firmware of your choice and flash it...

MTP is enabled but phone is not detected at all
I can access the terminal in recovery mode but it doesn't support ftp command to download any firmware.
I guess I am doomed

Wait... I don't get it...
Are you stuck in recovery? Or bootloader?
Also you can't use ftp commands either in bootloader or recovery... I suggest you start by reading this thread to learn a few basics about Android commands and how-to :

Sorry to confuse you I can get to the bootloader and the recovery no problem but when I try to reboot to the system it kept saying no OS installed. I don't have any ROM installed and I can't use USB cable since phone won't detect it. So I am stuck at back-end.

So...
What operating system is installed on your computer?
Did you already install adb/fastboot drivers?
In device manager, while being in bootloader, is your phone detected when you plug your USB cable?
Did you try different cables, USB ports?

I tried different cables/PCs nothing worked. I think my phone USB port is defected but what confuses me more is that it can be charged just fine but no USB connectivity
It is still under warranty but not sure if it will be honored since I have the bootloader unlocked.

Nothing like said it is dead. I have another nexus 6 can connect easily to the PC I am pretty sure it is a phone issue.
Well, if you're 100℅ sure the USB port is damaged, there's nothing else than a repair that could bring your phone back to life... Good luck..!

Tried that already it didn't work
Might be a driver problem.
Connect it your windows pc and check the Device Manager if it is detected as "Android" device. If so uninstall it and disconnect and reconnect it to the pc. Let windows install the MTP drivers.

You've tried everything I can personally think of. If you followed my guide I linked to last time and that didn't work, then I'm not sure what's going on. The only other thing I can think of is a hardware issue since TWRP won't recognize your OTG cable. Good luck!
anyone has drivers to try ??????

Maybe u should try to flash the stock firmware using odin..
Hi guys,
I think I have bricked my phone definetley. I did a couple of bad things. First I disconneted the usb cable while flashing with Odine, then, worse I closed odin and the phone went into emergency recovery mode. I tryed to use Smart Swithc to revoer it but it daoes not connect with th W10 Pc. The only thing I can do is to switch off using power and volume down but then it restart atutomatically and shws the emergency recovery screen. I have tryed all te uttons combinations found on the web, but the stubborn piece od hardware does not hear me, Is there someone that cne help me? I am close to use a hammer...
Hey there, when the phone is in emergency recovery mode, does it show up in Odin? If yes, you can try flashing the firmware again. It should work.
No, it does not. When i connect it to the pc I can hear the connetion sound and then immeditely after the disconnection. In other words it connects and then it disconnects on its own. This happens either if connect trough usb B or C. Thanks

Thank again for your help. I do not know what I did, but suddenly the connection via USB C was detected by Odin so I was able to flash the firmware and the phone got life again. Thank again.
