it's a different android base though bro. Safestrap won't flash the kernel. It's possible that Odin might work for that though.
I'm not a fan of some of the visual changes though in lolipop. Dialer and messages.

It's an AOSP LolliPop for the N9005 or HLTE Version Note 3, I've been under the impression that we're able to flash some HLTE Rom's to our device.

Not yet I'm tempted too, while I had my HD2 in service for awhile no real top quality smartphone or android device, it kinda made me embrace the better side of AOSP Rom's, before I hated them and felt like they were too naked and bare minimal, now I guess my Note 3 is trying to push me into flashing a new rom text messages stopped working for no reason, I've been meaning to flash a new rom and get away from stock and experiment a little, I'd advise downloading the rom in something like firefox, for some reason it kept failing to download halfway through in Chrome on my Desktop though.

That Rom looks like a aosp Rom and we can't flash anything other than touch wiz kernels so this Rom won't work
I would be flashing but dang safestrap keeps checking signature verification, it even failed signature verification on alliance rom v7.1, WTF How do I disable that? I shouldn't be getting that error especially on a rom made for this phone!

I wonder.... If we flashed the custom N900A/N9005 Kernel, Modem and Bootloader from this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/wip-getting-note4-norma-n9005-running-t2978346 if we'd be able to boot the New N9005 zipped rom.

I don't get it that rom says it's for our phone. I'm tempted to try it, kind of a hybrid of N9005 and N900A mixed with Note 4 features.
The installation looks rather complex though install this odin that then flash this. LoL :cyclops:

Downloading this to see what you did! How do you intend to "fix" GoogleSearch?
I have Velvet installed on my cm-10.2 (user app). It would FC almost immediately using the libgoogle_recognizer_jni_1.so from the thread. This is closed-source armv7 stuff so sort of cuts us out.
EDITED POST: What I thought was happening was simply wrong: Not the 4.4 Velvet. With what I did have, the following still valid:
That armv7 precompiled close source stuff kills us (if Google is to support "older" devices, it needs to make armv6 precompiled jni's available or make it all open source so we can do them!). However, when I was experimenting with my current configuration, somehow, Google Search's speech input came up. "Initializing en-US." (I have that srec but NOT symlinked in), and then ... it took my voice and used it. Just once, but it did do it! Not an illusion. So maybe this can be fixed up.
EDIT: Conspicous by it absense is the "PrebuiltGMSCore." I did install that, user upgrade to my previous gmscore. Needed by Play and the thread claims that its "prebuilt" version is required by Google Now.

Hey heres how to fix google search forces closes! Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US.

This has been bandied about on the thread, sometimes successful, sometimes not.
In our case, I doubt you will see any benefit. I tried it. First off, there is no offline recognition currently working on our device. No off-line options in settings (if one can get that far), no language kits, nothing.
At our stage, Google Search FC trying to initialize/access off-line voice recognition which is armv7 compiled. Bingo. Edit: The Rashed's old modded version apparently neutralized that call. Clicking mic would, of course, FC.

However ... brainstorm: Extracted the jni from Rashed's Jan 7 GoogleNow.apk and lo and behold, it starts up, one can do searches, access cards, etc. I can get online voice recognition into it using the voice search assistant widget shortcut and I have that using overlays covering Google Search's mic icons (which are guaranteed FC). Not the most fluid but the thing works.
With the thread's JNI, launcher worked, Google Search FC in a loop. WIth Rashed's, launcher does not find Google Search (which really is the launcher--GoogleHome is a stub and maybe the wallpapers).
With the thread's JNI, I could get to settings->voice if I did it quick enough (before the FC). Offline options not shown. With Rashed's jni, setting->voice FC immediately.

The voice recognition did work for me a few times. I dont know how, but it did. Unfortunately, the FC.

This is the same reason why I think this can be fixed!
Different thing: I installed it but can't get over the initial settings because the Android keyboard gets FC all the time. Just a corrupt download?
I tried to edit the rom via the Oone editor and install the keyboard i normally use as user app but that won'T help me get over the damn initial settings
Is there actually a way to set a different keyboard than the AOSP as default?
Edit: Found the solution 3 seconds after posting -.- I didn't have the German pack in the LatinME installed, but chosen in the initial settings. That made it crash.
However the question how to set an alternative keyboard as default still interests me, though it might be a little OT

If you want to set alternative keyboard as default, you first have to install it in phone memory and not SD card.
Then i guess, that's it. Now select the keyboard and enjoy!

Just place the apk in /system/app/ and change permission to rw-r--r--
Or simply install the app and make it a system app through apps like Link2SD or /system/app mover

If you want to install a good keyboard like swiftkey you'll also have to copy the library file from data/data/appfolder/lib into sytem/lib besides the apk

Umm.. i have already included the statusbar and the navigation bar gradient. And yes, its a bit messy in some of the apps. I guess because of the Holo light theme. what if i edit the Holo light background to make it black in the statusbar area?

This well established Android distribution treats development differently than any other to further our Android platform as a whole. Also, this ROM utilizes our unique build system and a custom LLVM 3.5 suite based toolchain globally.

Utilizing the LLVM CLANG CI globally, working heavily with upstreams with a goal of furthering our entire Android platform.

I guess I will use this as an update on my status! I work at a hospital in the IT department and am in charge of all things computers / upgrades / network / anything else my boss wants me to do lol. With the XP end date nearing I am in the process of imaging over 400 pc's to windows 7 and also in the middle of migrating our IBM systems to newer hardware so that we can then upgrade our H.I.S. system "not fun". If you are in doubt of the status of the ROM just check the download link in the OP above and see if there is a new nightly posted! Also, any issues found either post in this thread or send me a PM and I will send it off to the devs to fix!
BMP7777, you are seriously awesome for porting all these ROMs to the m7spr. I remember Team Codefire talking about their rom coming out, but haven't been following their work. It's kind of weird to not have CFX and Themes in the Settings menu. Any idea if this should make things more stable, or they just haven't implemented this yet?

As of now, they are both .apks rather than embedded in settings. Check your app drawer. Don't know the why's behind it, but I'm sure it's by design. Any feedback you have about how this badboy runs will be appreciated. :angel:

Well, I've only been using it for a half hour or so with no drama. I'm at work so I can't really fiddle with it too much. The one thing I've been getting on KitKat roms is the SIM card lock, and a few of them have been giving me random reboots. I'll let you know if I get either one of these today.
I like the file explorer, it's the perfect amount of simple and functional.
BTW, I had to root with SuperSU. I assumed that this would be included, as it's a Chainfire ROM.

This is not a completed ROM, so any extras or even standard items may not have been integrated yet. Have others experienced this?
BTW I don't think that Chainfire has any affiliation with CFX. At least, I see no threads by him here for CFX, and I didn't find him listed as a member on their site.

Oh, I feel silly. I didn't even think about it. I just ASSumed that they were affiliated. Either way, I had to root it with SuperSU. Not a big deal, just an observation.
Also, I went to lunch today, and lost data until I toggled Airplane Mode. I think it was because the restaurant was a brick building, but I'm not sure because it didn't seem to connect until I toggled Airplane Mode, even though I waited ~5 minutes before trying. Otherwise, nothing to report. No SIM card locks or random reboots yet.

Thanks for your input. I'm going to add a few things to the ROM zip this evening: CFX bootani, SU apk, maybe a couple of other thing to make it interesting. But, it'll have to wait until I'm done building the latest BS update...... did I say that outloud?
ROM layout is great... I like a lot of the KitKat features.
I am getting some random freezing of the screen... Does not seem to be specific to any app or feature.
Also... Can anyone tell me how to get to the browser settings in this new browser version? I can't seem to find them.

I unplugged it from the wall this morning, and when I slid the lock ring, I got a random reboot. Still, to go about 20hr without issue isn't too bad for an experimental build, eh?

However, I'm probably dense, but after reading that article I'm still not sure how to find the browser settings that I was asking about.

New build with CFX bootanimation and latest commits. All feedback welcomed. I had trouble downloading it, but apparently no one else has because I have 13 DLs in the last hour and no one knew about it. Any problems, let me know. So the three dot menus are disabled, but the back button menu also doesn't bring up the menus. Is this the intended behavior? I can't find anything in the CFX options or system settings to changes any of this. I tried to add the three dot menus back with an xposed module but it also gave me the soft navigation bar. If you can point me to the settings for this I appreciate it.
I've just gotten started, but so far I have 3-dot menus in every app I have opened. Some of them are at the bottom, though.

Weird... I didn't have the ones at the top or bottom. I tried your beanstalk rom last night and it does have them if I select the option.
I like the option that the beanstalk has to keep the home and back buttons always lit too.
I do not own this device, but really happy to see developers using codefireXperiment for building custom ROMs as well.

Known Bug:HTC camera ,it have some library issues hence cannot record videos i will try provide a fix for it soon,but video recording works with any other app,snapdragon camera 2 is integrated inside ROM which can click as well as record videos,other than this i would be writing Q/A in comments section Do read it.
How is it different from other ROMs
Other marshmallows are Cyanogen based while this is AOSP based,few people experience WiFi drops in cm 13 which are not present in this,Adb via USB is known bug in all cm 13 ROMs for Redmi which is fixed in this,
GPS,headphones, rigntone change which were not working in other AOSP are all fixed in this.
Performance of HTC Remix
As claimed above no major bugs found everything working,
the Screen ON Time i got over WiFi is 6 hrs to 7hrs which is best compared to other ROMs
Free Ram on 1 GB variant is about ~450mb (yup u read it right way better than MIUI)
Temperature varies from 27 - 36 degrees
Note:This ROM is slightly big in size ,and instruction of installation are little different follow all instructions carefully
Installation MethodThis ROM is Uploaded in a rar file containing various zips(HTC Remix ROM Part1, HTC Remix ROM Part2, Pico 6.0 GAPPS, Dolby Audio, Xposed module,Root)
Step 1: Extract all contents of this Rar file in a folder
Step2:Reboot to Recovery,and perform a wipe(Factory Reset)
Step3:Flash "HTC Remix ROM Part1"-Installation time 4 to 5 min, don't panic if you don't see progress for a while as i said earlier ROM is big in size
Step4:Flash "HTC Remix ROM Part2"-Installation time less than 30 seconds
Step5:Flash "PICO 6.0 GAPPS"-It is important that you install Gapps right now with the ROM and not later or you would face Setupwizard crash loop and First Initialization error,thats why gapps are included inside rar file
Step6: above files MUST be flashed in the order they are mentioned after gapps, flash dolby, root and Xposed

A:YES it requires custom Recovery ,its been Tested with CWM,should work with others,and i forgot to mention this above this would void your warranty you, cannot blame me for any mishappening with your device after installing this,its your decision to flash it,but you should be fine if you followed steps as stated above.

It's a AOSP ROM.... You 'll need Xposed only if you want to Customize things
so here is my review after using it in journey from ludhiana to delhi...
battery is good...morning-100% and till night 40%...i was playing music in whole journey and but less data...
everything working fine no fc and no reboots...
flawless, smooth performance...
only two bugs...
3g on sim 2 not working
baseband unknown (not really a bug)

I also installed it. The camera is the standout factor with this ROM. HTC Camera is superb... Haven't tried video recording though.. Will add more as I go on...
EDIT -
1. Stock keyboard app doesn't support gesture typing. Changed to google keyboard from play store.
Otherwise good.

which governbor do you use?
in whatever kernel control you have -->> enable fsync
(can't gurantee, but solved the same problem of min. freq. on some other kernels/roms)

Meta-inf>com>google>android> delete the updater-script and replace with the one present in the zip attached

download the whole rar file...then unzip first part HTC REMIX PART 1....
now in that go to meta-inf folder and open google folder then updater script (in es file or use notePAD++ in PC)
now delete only first 3 lines which checks for build date (25 Dec 2015 ) and save it....
and then zip the rom and flash

it was working earlier?i don't know what's the problem here,few users reported this crash but for me its working flawless,so i cant check what's wrong either
please attach a logcat if possible
since it was working earlier try flash again...
the temporary solution i suggested users is use *#*#4636#*#* to change network mode,and data connection could be turned on from developer options

This Said If You Still Want To Use Heavy Apps And Want no Heat And More Battery I Recommend To Apply The Latest Patch Above In Download If You Want More I Advise You To Install Imperium Kernel And Apply Thermal (First Enable The Hotplug Thermal Control , Put Both CORE & CPU Max Heat To 50 And Throttle To 4)... And You Can Use Smart Manager To Optimize battery and you can also freez and exclude unused apps from startup ( You Can Also Undervolt Gpu And Cpu By 1 Level In Imperium Setting For More Battery Saving... )

After 3 hours
After 3 hours of use, only bug so far Font size edit not working, it stucks in loading and then a FC dialog appeared, will continue testing, i see no reason to flash back to my SuperWizCyan Rom, i hope in the future we can have AROMA Installer with the S7 Edge features in it thank you so much for your effort!

hello, i believe there is a bug in the lockscreen wake. once clicking the home button it takes 4 seconds for the phone to wake, please make an update to wake it faster

in my phone it is working fine
UPDATE: just change the lockscreen effect and it will work fine some lock screeneffects take more time then other

that's werid, my phone takes a good 4-5 sec after pressing the home/power button for the screen to turn on
review for people who are thinking of flashing
i have been using this ROM for the past couple of days, here are some of the problems:
[*]2-4 second lag when using any unlock animation including lock methods (pattern, pin, face...)
[*]3-4 second lag when pulling up keyboard in any app
[*]occasional crash when pulling up keyboard, screen goes to default wallpaper and is unresponsive until force shutdown (take out battery)
[*]some apps seem seem to have a lower resolution than using stock ROM e.g Clash of Clans
[*]occasional glitch where phone randomly locks, or becomes unresponsive
[*]battery life screen on time 2-3 hours with light-medium use. 1-2 hours with heavy use (not a big issue, just like to mention it)
However, this ROM is the closest ROM to making your s4 active into a s6 or s7, other apps such as the music, theme store, messaging, phone, camera etc work perfectly fine with no stutter or lag. this also helps in making your phone look like its on marshmallow, and you can theme it further with nova launcher or google launcher to make it look like stock android. Charging times are as standard, it took me around 2 - 2:30hrs to charge from 0%-100%, battery life is a little lacking, but it is expected as it is a custom ROM.
if you are looking for a stable ROM, i recommend looking at firmwares from Sammobile, as this ROM is isn't stable, however, it will get you by as a daily driver as i am doing now, but you will need to get used to the problems that i listed, until the developers fix it.

The whole concept of the rom tough, is the design. This rom is set up to use Google's new Product Sans font (hence the name) as the default font, which creates quite a unique design throughout the whole interface. Check out the images attached to the post!
The ROM also uses a launcher named Lawnchair, a fully customizable modded version of the Pixel Launcher, developed by deletescape.

Looks really nice! But I will until my warranty is over until I install a custom rom. But that font...... amazing.

Use Substratum. Or install a theme via samsung theme store...
The ROM is superb and it's indeed clean from Samsung. It doesn't actually have anything from Samsung, and I was forced to install a few apps I was using before (Tip: Use APKMIRROR). Anyway, thank you so much for creating this. The design is outstanding. However, I think there is a problem with the WiFi. I can't get past 35 Mbps. I've tried 4-5 routers and the speed is the same. Maybe it's nothing, but can you please check it out a little? Feels that something is not right. Also, when I restored apps from Google, the process took like 1 hour instead of 10 minutes on Stock. This is definitely not right.

When I get some free time, I'll update the ROM to use the latest security update and apps, we'll see if that fixes it mate
I love it, it is very snappy !
I miss very much the quick launch shortcut for the Camera app, and the ability to use apk's backup to S Cloud. Any ideas to get this back?
