I have contacted Samsung online and voice support for several times.
I am told that the serial number for Samsung Gear Watch is not in their
system so that they cannot create a case to claim warranty. My serial number
is 11 characters which is shown in the box and the back side of the watch.
However, Samsung support says it is invalid.
Also, I cannot register my Samsung Gear Smartwatch at Samsung website.
Have anyone here claim warranty for your Samsung Gear Watch before ?

I recently got back my Galaxy Note from samsung service center after the board being replaced. But when i connect the phone to kies its showing a XXX CSC code and also the Serial Number of the device is shown as 00000000000. The service center fellow told me that this will go when i update my phone to a new version but it din convince me please help!!

Good morning, no need to make a new thread for your question every day. So this should be closed and anwers be given in your first thread.
I'm on the line right now trying to get a new demo SD card because the one that came with the Gear VR IE is corrupted, and the lady won't help me because I don't have a valid IMEI or ESN number for the Gear VR. I practically screamed at her a hundred times that the gear doesn't have an IMEI. She also asked for a serial number, and the (non barcoded) serial number on the device doesn't show up as valid.
I've said this before, but I swear this is my last Samsung product ever.

Came accross this FAQ that states;
"Can I use my Samsung Gear VR with an unlocked phone?
To make sure you can download required software updates, your Samsung Android phone needs to be connected to a mobile carrier for it to work with your Samsung Gear VR.
Note: If you try to use an unlocked phone with your Gear VR, you may come across problems that we won’t be able to fix or it may not work at all."
Are they saying we cant use unlocked models period, or just that we need a connection to a carrier?

Unlocked devices will work on the GearVR without any issues. Just as long as the Gear VR supports the use of that device.
I can't see a forum for the Samsung Gear Active 2, so I am writing this here (hope its okay). I have Gear Active 2 from Samsung and about a month I got the software update which I thought would include the long waited ECG option. However once I installed the Tizen update all that it did was to add fall dectection, and some changed menus.
So my question is, is the ECG option in the latest Tizen update blocked in some areas of the world? If yes can it be unlocked with having to hard and software reset my phone?

Hi everyone, I went to buy the device from a private seller and not in a store, when I saw the device I realized that it was intact with nothing brand new, really, with the box, all accessories improved by that. say, I took the device, I put my controller chip, I got the signal normally, I continued with the initial configuration to do some tests, but at the end of the initial configuration, it presented the message in the image below. "Cell phone blocked, please contact us by email [email protected]" In this case, the owner of the device has the invoice for the purchase, he paid for the device in cash, it was stopped without having been turned on and tested, what could have happened and is there a way to solve this via software?
