[Q] lg g2 pageplus 4g lte issue - Verizon LG G2

On my vs980 on rooted stock 4.4.2 seems to be getting .20Mbps download and upload speeds with a signal around -113dBm and one to two bars is there any way to improve this? Im on LTE/CDMA under mobile networks already and is it possible to update prl with *22899?

There was a mod for the Note 2 that gave accurate data signals. I haven't checked if it will work for us because honestly I've been kind of waiting for Kit Kat before I started working to much on a ROM, but if I get a chance I'll take a look and maybe just make it for JB until the update arrives. I'm with you I hate being lied to and told everything is 4G by T-Mobile.

No tmobile data on Unlocked Vs980 4.4.2 what's the Deal?

There's 100 people out there trying to use vs980 on Tmobile,we see many posts prior to kk update of people showing images and giving detailed ways to enable lte or Any data period,
As it stands now for some, reason vzw g2 will not allow any tmobile data let alone lte or hspa on the kk vs98024A firmware '
Someone had got to know its either something to do with stock vzw firmware or some, kind of block or what? No apn settings In this world work While on official kk
But when the jb 11a and 12b was around stuff worked
Is there a work around a valid and knowledgeable work around or fix Anyone with correct knowledge of this issue have any input?
Otherwise I'm,selling the phone today.
We can use note 3 easily enuff and vzw iPhones out of the box but the Vzw g2 isn't being easy
Its almost as if all the talk of working data is comic, and people standing by their word of being able to flash T-Mobile g2 rom on this variant with a patch. Zip
Any help would help many
Thanks

Hey did you find any solution?
From my experience you can only get tmobile lte buy flashing cm11 or asop rom and editing apn for tmobile 4g lte.
Weird...
I'm on Stock rom uprooted. Using on TMobile and getting LTE. I keep the mobile network settings to global. After the 25b update, I have had issues where the data would disconnect until I restart phone. But it could be a bad Sim.
I'm on stock 24a and t-mobile lte data works fine for me on my vs980. I assume you guys have the right 4g/lte apn settings? If not, check here:
http://www.4gtricks.com/2013/04/t-mobile-4g-apn-t-mobile-4g-apn-settings.html
I also go into Settings>Tethering & Networks>Mobile Networks>System Select>Network Mode and change it to GSM first and then do a manual network search. I select the T-Mobile GSM network and when it says registered, I go back and change it back to global and 4g/lte works just fine.

T-Mobile LTE? Cannot get LTE, only 4G

I cannot get LTE at all on my vs980, using CloudyStock 2.6 and cannot get T - Mobile to receive LTE. On 24A band.
Fiddled with all the GSM settings and the fastest speed im getting is 4/0.3 contrary to a similar phone getting 50/28 so its not reception
Anyone have this problem? THanks in advance
I am switching from Verizon to T-Mobile this week so I'd like to know if your able yo get this to work. I don't have a T-Mobile sim yet so I can't test but from what I've read you just need to adjust your APN setting for T-Mobile. Have you tried this yet?

Signal switches from LTE to HSDPA wtf?

Where I live I have decent LTE signal strength about -85dbm in the house. Currently my phone says LTE, but if I make a phone call the network automatically switches to H, and internet is incredibly slow. When I get off the phone the network will still stay on H but internet browsing speeds will improve.
Restarting the phone does not seem to fix the issue, and it will take hours for it to go back to LTE. The only way I've found I can get it right back to LTE is by calling T-Mobile and having them reset my phone to the cell tower and I will regain full signal.
Can someone explain to me what in gods name is going on. I'm running stock android 5.0.1
Thank you

Nexus 6 does not support Voice over LTE (VoLTE) on T-Mobile network or VoLTE is not in your area. That is why its changing to HSPA speeds when you make the phone call.
The connection to HSPA should go back to LTE after your phone call is done though, even though it isn't doing that for you.
Thank you. But is there any reason when switching to the HSDPA network and on call my service is so miserably slow? Its like being in a 14.4k modem. Takes forever to load something.

Have you tried updating your modem/radio? Verified APN settings? New SIM card?
I have T-Mobile and there's no VoLTE where I live but the speeds are still 20mb/s with H+ while I'm on a call. VoLTE would be nice but I don't think its enabled in any network for the Nexus 6 yet.
Hopefully when N6 gets TMo WiFi Calling, VoLTE support gets added. It would be nice
I updated the radio when I flashed the newest 5.0.1 update. I did the update manually so I know I flashed the updated radio... This was one of the issues I had with the original 5.0.0 software that I was hoping the update would fix.

How do I verify the APN and make sure everything is correct with that?

Not connecting to HSPA network..stuck on 3G (UMTS*384)..TMobile N6...any thoughts?

Hello.... Running Pure Nexus 6.0.1 with latest 32R modem and I'm not getting any HSPA data connections...it connects to the UMTS*384, but won't connect to TMO via H/H+...I live in Iowa and we do not have any LTE coverage in Iowa and we rely on HSPA for near 4G connection speeds...I've tried all the radios from TMO 5.1.1 to the latest 32R...does anyone have any suggestions to fix my HSPA connection issues? I'm not sure if 5.1.1 displayed the same issues, but I'd like to find a solution that fixes my data connection. Nick

you can try dialing *#*#4636#*#*, then choosing phone info, then set your preferred network type as wcdma.
