Hi guys,
So... I've tried a few ROMs on my note... currently on CM10 preview 3. I'm asking as above what is the best ICS or above ROM (fastest) which also has good battery life?...
Or.... what are the best settings to use on CM10 p3 for fastest yet good battery life? I've seen that NoteCore ROM... is that good?
Thanks.

Actually I have discovered this ROM yesterday and I am using it for a 2 days. Excellent.
But I have a question, should I stay with current v8 kernel or it is ok to move to v11.
I am not sure if I am going to ruin my battery life and performance.
Thanks in advance
I have tried em all and have found a winning rom:
[ROM][ICS][01-08-12][0.8] AniDroid-N7000 (CM9 | 3.0.38 | SLQB | OC)
Using that rom with its stock kernel I am getting very nice performance and battery life!! 3G+ data+sync on (WIFI and the rest disabled) I am getting 1% an hour drain! I am tempted to try a CM10 but I would only be doing so 'to have the latest' whilst not necessarily being 'the greatest'. I do get itchy though but will probably await for the Project Butter to be working and then I'll switch.

Interesting, thanks for the info! Going to read more about both of these and try them out!
Does anyone know of a way of removing Navigation bar (softkeys) from AniDroid?... pretty pointless as I have hardware buttons....
Fusion Rom v3.0 with its stock kernel really impressed me.
Rocket Rom too.
The first has more battery But a bit buggy to me.

I'm on Cleannote v4 and Notecore v11... the performance is great and I think the battery life is very good, and think most on both would agree.
If you don't like touchwiz, basic ROMs, then this may not be the right combination for you... but I find it clean, smooth, and efficient. I don't care about all the extras, just want a phone that works and runs my apps dependably and quickly.
Give v11 a try. Just do a nandroid first and you can always flash back if you don't like it for some reason (I can't think of any reason).

I would recommend to stick with it if you are not facing any issues.
Since you want to upgrade Use only Standard version. OC versions drains battery pretty fast.

AOSP : android open source project, the link : http://source.android.com/
AOKP : android open kang project, It is a custom ROM distribution for many Android devices. link : http://aokp.co/
Fastest ROM is Asylum CM 10.1. If you are flashoholic, you will never find your battery giving more backup. You have to give your phone some time to adjust itself with the kernel.

touchwiz roms like slimwizz or sva are the best,
in my experience.
they have constant 3 hours on screen time
compared to cm/aosp which is like 2h 30 mins max.
hi.
i have been using cyanogenmod 7.2 with my ace but the battery life sucks, is there anything i can do to improve this? i'm already using setcpu but is there any kernel that can improve the battery? or should i just simply change rom's

FireKernel without overclocking option, but it will not change much. CM7 is just like that.

i tried a different rom but was getting a lot of force closes so i did a fresh install of cyanogenmod and installed FireKernel and now is much better.
is there anyway to re-calibrate the battery so i have an accurate status reading?

The "grab a charger and stay charging while you play a game on any ROM" ROM is the best ROM for this. This may sound like a sarcastic response, but its actually a very honest and very serious answer.

There is no top ROM for gaming on these devices. Your best bet is to install a kernel that will allow you to overclock your processor. Use whichever ROM you like best. [emoji4]

The thread that talks about kernels in the development section, the same one that literally has the word 'KERNEL' in the title that can easily be found by using the search feature....

You really don't want to use arrrghhh kernel if you are worried about battery life. lol
You might want to do EB40 mod.
I want...
1) battery life.
2)Smoothness
3)don't have big bugs specially with calling,Wi-Fi,3G etc.
Thanks
1. Wrong place to post this.
2. ROM preference is kind of a personal thing. Try them it to find one that best suits you.
You could go With Tesla for speed, battery life is around 11hrs with greenify and fusion 6.0 for battery life (1day with greenify) , performance is good no lag. .. I use the former as primary rom and latter as secondary because of it's battery life , as I give priority to performance than battery life... I've used cm 12.1, pacman, prudroid, blisspop, paranoid, resurrection remix, ... And I found the above said 2 roms the best, personal choice. .
having tried Cm12.1 , stock 5.0.2 , titan , slim LP and loads of others - I'm currently using nexus experience rom all i can say, its the only custom rom i've kept for more than 2days -- NOT saying others are no good-- just I personally like this one.
https://nxrom.us/motog2.html
most stable rom
CM 12.1 snapshot version
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=titan&type=snapshot
Thanks everyone for your help....

Hope you enjoy it here.
look no further!
I strongly recommentd, Blisspop. BlissPop-v4.0.3-titan-OFFICIAL-20151007-0743
Blisspop has features but bad ram management.. ..
Fusion, Exodus or crDroid
I'm using blisspop with spirit kernel.
Its giving 4 hrs of SOT. Any other ROM which can give more SOT? I'm a heavy user so I need to charge it twice.. Which ROM is best for SOT? Fusion or nexus experience or any else?

Hi so I installed RR on my mums s3 mini, it lags a lot and the wifi never autoconnects so she has to reboot the phone very often
Im looking for a rom which battery lasts enough, decent performance (she doesnt use performance demanding apps) and overall stability
Android version doesnt matter

Omni rom, but don't expect battery miracles with those 1500 mAh.
My girlfried uses CM12.1 from novafusion and it works without any problem. Battery is excellent.
I tried several Roma but only those kikat were stable .. :crying:

This ROM is really great!
Guys, what about those new ROMs - RROS 5.8.3 or LOS 14.1? Are they stable enough or are the older ones better?
This is a good question. I use old cm11 Om S3 mini nfc version
But i think about upgrade. Is there any stable custom for everyday use?
I mean not alpha or testing version.
I need stable Rom for this phone. Any help?
