No Xposed for Lollipop anytime soon and possibly never at all, per the last publicly posted comments from Xposed OG developer rovo89.

Can you link me to this publicly posted comment? I would like to read up on it. I know there are problems with SElinux and the context's that can be ran in order to get xposed app_process to run with the proper contexts. I also remember that being a problem with root. The only way around it was with a custom kernel. Things may have changed since I read that though.

Xposed is not compatible with Lollipop (ART) yet. Hence it wont work! Refer the below screenshot taken from note 2 running on 5.0.2.
Developer of xposed is a real genius, Its jus matter of time when he comes with new update for lollipop.

Aww no xposed?
sorry for noobieness but, is @rovo89 still working on the issue or that xposed art will not be?
All the information on ART/Lollipop and Xposed is available in the pinned thread here.
Pending further information to the contrary from rovo89 himself, you can assume he's still working on it.

Exposed framework requires dalvik runtime. With android 5.0 lollipop, dalvik runtime is completely replaced by ART(android run time). Thats why xposed is not compatible. Check out this thread .
Xposed is not updated for ART / Android L.

As soon as you've developed a Nougat compatible version of xposed and released it for us.

Someone at Substratum has a Proof of Concept.
Rovo will update the status in this thread, you can check the progress there.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811&page=4
Current status for Nougat: Hooks are generally working now. However, they're still unreliable for inlined methods and when JIT is used (which is often the case). I had give a few technical insights here. I'm currently thinking about the different situations that need to be handled and I create unit tests for them. Then I need to fix those which are failing or even crashing the device - ideally without recompiling the whole ROM like in previous versions. Not sure if the latter is possible though.

Nobody is forcing you to install cm14.1- if xposed is a mission critical thing for you, then wait a couple of weeks waiting ain't so bad..
people always inpatient and in a rush. I'll happily sit on my stable as a rock MM ROMs. Everything I need the phone for works. If it's not broke...don't fix it.
I'll take the upgrade once it's available and stable. Kudos to all who are working on this. Xposed is da bomb!

Well said, if your ROM is stable enough for your daily driver, then stick with it. I want to try CM14.1 but it pulls me down to MM due to Xposed framework. For now, patience is a virtue. :good:
I'll just patiently wait while I sit on Nougat, the only thing that exists where I come from. No MM possible for this one. The V20 is still beautiful though.

No proper multi window support. Since I'm on a tablet I can't stay on MM for long. Multi window is very important there, then again xposed support is equally important to me.

Interesting, but are there instructions in English and is Tai-Chi Magisk free to use and open source?
My advice is not to use closed source software which modifies Android at system level like for example Xposed and Magisk do because nobody can check what the software actually does.

So, it is not open source. My advice is not to use this because you'll never know what it does. Too risky for me in any case. This also means I won't support XPrivacyLua on Tai-Chi.

I agree. When using it, the app uninstalls whatever app you're using a module with and installs a new version. I tried it with Instagram and Xinsta. It did actually work as advertised. With no code to look at though, it's a little shady for me. I'd like to see them post some better documentation and proper source. There's enough data mining going on in apps published to the play store as it is, let alone something like this.
Taichi and vxposed are garbage almost no app work

not sure if I understand this ... some people in the thread did install those zips and got a working xposed in the end and could use some xposed modules.
I would love to see some solution to get your XprivacyLua working on newer phones. You think I should avoid to try it that way?
