As soon as you've developed a Nougat compatible version of xposed and released it for us.

Someone at Substratum has a Proof of Concept.
Rovo will update the status in this thread, you can check the progress there.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811&page=4
Current status for Nougat: Hooks are generally working now. However, they're still unreliable for inlined methods and when JIT is used (which is often the case). I had give a few technical insights here. I'm currently thinking about the different situations that need to be handled and I create unit tests for them. Then I need to fix those which are failing or even crashing the device - ideally without recompiling the whole ROM like in previous versions. Not sure if the latter is possible though.

Nobody is forcing you to install cm14.1- if xposed is a mission critical thing for you, then wait a couple of weeks waiting ain't so bad..
people always inpatient and in a rush. I'll happily sit on my stable as a rock MM ROMs. Everything I need the phone for works. If it's not broke...don't fix it.
I'll take the upgrade once it's available and stable. Kudos to all who are working on this. Xposed is da bomb!

Well said, if your ROM is stable enough for your daily driver, then stick with it. I want to try CM14.1 but it pulls me down to MM due to Xposed framework. For now, patience is a virtue. :good:
I'll just patiently wait while I sit on Nougat, the only thing that exists where I come from. No MM possible for this one. The V20 is still beautiful though.

No proper multi window support. Since I'm on a tablet I can't stay on MM for long. Multi window is very important there, then again xposed support is equally important to me.

Smooth Scrolling Mod
What Is it?
Some android applications have some lag when they scroll.
I found in logcat that garbage collector is working to much when I do some scroll in application.
I googled about it and found the 'scrollingcache' function inside android making problem.
Some application developers recommend disable 'scrollingcache' in app's internal config.
But not all applications have disabled scrollingcache.
So the mod I'll do will disable the scrollingcache throughout the Android OS.
All apps will have no problem with scrollingcache.
I've had scrolling improvements with facebook, playerpro, poweramp, gallery apps , etc.

If you want to request the mod for a ROM that is not officially supported. Use the following form,
ROM Name:
ROM Version:
ROM Release Date:
Attach (or upload) the framework.jar from that particular ROM (found in /system/framework):
I will do them when I get the chance. If these guidelines aren't met then I will just simply ignore the post because I cannot be doing a mod for a ROM that I don't know what version it is. The whole point of fulfilling request is not something just for yourself but for others as well. Nightly requests will not be fulfilled, it makes no sense for me to do a mod that will be only useful for one day and then have a request for the nightly that releases the next day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Give a thanks if you appreciate/enjoy the mod including those who provide me the file. It wouldn't be possible without them.
Would it be possible to do this for the PA ROM? Just asking. Great job! About time someone did it!

I actually did it awhile ago but didn't dedicate my own thread to it. I could, I don't use PA but how often does PA update their ROM? Just wondering, if its a nightly build kinda thing then that is going to become very excessive
I have to read up on your other thread I asked you about. remember your name from the Nexus days with your ROM
Edit: Looks like PA is weekly. Downloading the ROM to do the zip, I can't test the mod but it should work doing it blindly. I assume you wanted the smooth scrolling mod and not the 4G mod right?

Oh my lord. Amazing support, zephik. I downloaded and was just about to flash when I realized that the mod is for the PA 4.5 beta. Since there are still a few kinks in the beta, most people (including myself) are running the stable version 4.45 from 07/29.
Now, unsmooth scrolling is just about the only gripe I have with this ROM (or Android in general), so I'd REALLY love it if you could do the mod for 4.45 too. I realize that it's a lot to ask, and I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'm throwing it out there anyway.
Cheers!

That is correct, this is only for the OPO. I can do Nexus 7 Mahdi port too but I want to keep my focus on the OPO since thats my daily phone and I don't own a N7. Don't get me wrong though, I can do it.

Can you link me to this publicly posted comment? I would like to read up on it. I know there are problems with SElinux and the context's that can be ran in order to get xposed app_process to run with the proper contexts. I also remember that being a problem with root. The only way around it was with a custom kernel. Things may have changed since I read that though.

Interesting, but are there instructions in English and is Tai-Chi Magisk free to use and open source?
My advice is not to use closed source software which modifies Android at system level like for example Xposed and Magisk do because nobody can check what the software actually does.

I agree. When using it, the app uninstalls whatever app you're using a module with and installs a new version. I tried it with Instagram and Xinsta. It did actually work as advertised. With no code to look at though, it's a little shady for me. I'd like to see them post some better documentation and proper source. There's enough data mining going on in apps published to the play store as it is, let alone something like this.
Taichi and vxposed are garbage almost no app work
