This is the only solution for you http://theroot.ninja/
But you must install a stock Rom or near stock something like MaximusHD or ARHD. Install them without changing the kernel.
It will cost you 25$.
If you don't wanna pay for sunshine S Off
ARHD + bulletproof kernel + firewater

Firewater is discontinued, the only option available for hboot 1.57 is sunshine.
Anyway the OP ( @MariusAdonis ) already knows that and how to convert to GPE, I spent some time explaining him in this thread
so consider this one as a duplicated thread. Well its the 3rd thread asking how to install GPE, another one here

Because you need s-off first. you can't change CID with s-on...
And if your intention is to use the GPE version then use GOOGL001
So like I said in your other thread
achieve s-off
change cid to GOOGL001 and mid to PN0712000
flash the GPE RUU
alray said:

just use Sunshine. it works awesome. I've used it for a few 1.57 HTC ones. I think its really worth the lack of aggravation that it provides.

Hello,
I've made a mistake. While trying to convert my HTC One to Google Edition, I've mistakenly turned S-ON.
The OS was running fine before it was S-ON. Now it boots up to Homescreen and reboots immediately.
The CID is the one from Google Edition. So I can't flash any RUU's.
I can lock and unlock the Bootloader, or flash another Recovery etc.
But since the OS keep rebooting I cant use ADB and turn S OFF.

" I've mistakenly turned S-ON." -> why, oh why?? dont you realize that's a one way ticket??
Anyway, are you saying you are able to UNLOCK bootloader, if so there may be hope: Unlock bootloader and use rumrunner to get s-off (AND STAY S-OFF)

Try sideloading another rom via recovery and flashing it..
Sent from my One using Tapatalk

Any way to use rumrunner without a working OS? As I stated above, I don't access to ADB.
@n1234d
I'll try sideloading via custom recovery. Any ROM suggestions?

try installing a custom ROM for 3.62, such as ARHD 31.6 (rooted & unsecured kernel) and get S-Off using rumrunner.
(you may have to try different ROMs as you're on GPE hboot & firmware.)
Runs fine with the mentioned ROM. I'll keep it at S-OFF this time. Thank you very much :good:

Hi all,
I've just moved from iPhone to a HTC ONE GSM last week and then I root it and installed Cyanogenmod.
But now I will back to the original setup, can anyone help me find the right RUU file, I've searched for it, but can't figure out what name it should have and where I can find it.
Here is some data for my phone:
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.56.0000
RADIO-4A.23.3263.28
I'm from Denmark, the phone is a GSM and it's not attached to a supplier.
Hope for your help, regards
Thomas

if you want to go back to 100% stock you will need to S-Off your phone,
so either
1- S-Off your phone, and follow my guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541082 (S-On is NOT recommended unless you're returning for warranty)
2- stay S-On and use a custom kernel, if you want stock Sense 5.5 (Android 4.4.2), you can try out ARHD 51.0 (very close to stock), or any other custom ROMs (or even stock ROM)
(check @ClydeB1's index thread in my signature for different ROMs)
3- get S-Off anyway, and flash whatever you want
If you decide to use my guide to go back to "out of the box", then post your "fastboot getvar all" in my thread and I'll let you know which files to use.

Please do not use 1.20.401.1, it seems to be some kind of "pre-release" as it contains hboot 1.43, and the lowest ship version is supposed to be 1.44 AFAIK.
also using ruu.zip method has become my recommended method due to various issues.
I have flashed my One with CMinstaller, but it's still s-on.
Flashed from CM to Android Revolution HD 53.0 and tried to get s-off with Rumrunner, but no luck.
Pouring 8 times "Wait 30 seconds, power on device, pray, run rumrunner again."
So no luck, what to do?

Guys please help this is urgent.
I followed the instructions on a website and relocked my bootloader. But then when it came the time to run the RUU,Ii had downloaded the wrong RUU file. I have been on the search for the correct one but I cant find it and so i am stuck in fastboot (I cant even boot to recovery).
I am on an international m7 variant and here is the info. from the fastboot screen:

Please help as this is urgent (and I am a beginner-ish in this as i used to own a Samsung device).

This is no the international variant btw. International variant is M7_UL PN0710000 not M7_U PN0711000.
There is only one RUU for this variant but its an old version and will require S-OFF to be flashed.
You have two option: re-unlock your bootloader and flash a custom rom
or
re-unlock your bootloader, flash a custom rom, achieve s-off and flash this RUU: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu-zip...0-01_release_311663_signed_2_4_decrypted-zip/
I have tried to achieve s-off for a while now using rumrunner but it never works, there is always some kind of different error.

You can use the 7.19.401.2 from this thread. BUT you will have to do the "downgrade for s-on" (bottom of 2nd page) to set your mid to .2 first.
I think the .22 ruu should also work for you, after the downgrade. But the example is exactly your device so may be easier to follow.

Thanks for your answers! I haven't understood what you mean by downgrade for s-on! You mean getting s-off? I can't find anything about changin mid to 0.2 on the second page of both the guides mentioned...Do I miss anything? I'm sorry if I can't understand!!

Thanks for your answers! I haven't understood what you mean by downgrade for s-on! You mean getting s-off? I can't find anything about changin mid to 0.2 on the second page of both the guides mentioned...Do I miss anything? I'm sorry if I can't understand!!

You don't need S-OFF just follow the guide at the end of post 2 to downgrade your version-main number (not the mid) to 7.19.401.2 so you can either flash the 7.19.401.2 or 7.19.401.22 ruu.zip posted in that thread.
Thank you, It worked just fine by following your suggestions!! Thank you so much!!
