I have a question guys, how hard is it to implement such thing into a 5.0 AOSP ROM to take RAW/DNG images?
we don't help the government round these parts.
lol , but i'm curious are you talking about LP AOSP RAW|DNG camera abilities? or TW

Question for the future
If i ever wanted to root the note to stock android will i lose the functionality of the spen?
I am sure i will loose as soon as its pulled out i get that pie grid to choose for options, and not alert me when the pen is not in its holster, but other then that will it work the same as far is it bewing drawn on the screen etc.
I really love the spen but i cant stand touchwiz and androild L looks way to sexy to pass up.
If the past is any indication, you'll need a stock based ROM for any spen functionality. No big deal though, just install the launcher of your choice and Xposed (if it works with L) and you'll be good to go.

Definitely, as it is a direct feature of only Samsung phones... at least the features they offer, you could probably get the S-pen to work, but it would be no different than a 3rd party device, very basic and lacking...
On the note 2v many of the spen features so work on CM11 I am assuming it will be the same for the note 4 when it is done. It does not have all of the two features, (screen capture, write on picture, etc), will not work, but the hover and general interaction does

If your talking about flashing an (AOSP or CM based) android L rom. Then yes, you will not have the same functionality of the spen as you do now.
But if your talking about when ever Android L update in available for note 4. Then you can root, and will keep all spen features.
Personally I don't understand why Pple buy the Note just to flash a non stock (AOSP, CM) Rom. You lose so many features that where designed for this phone. My opinion if you have to have a CM based rom, buy a Nexus.
Anybody who doesn't use a stock based rom. I'm curious to why not?
Anyone Dev can port this camera to our AOSP Lollipop? That features so ohsem.. Glad if someone give hand to make our phone is better

what changes in ROM CyanogenMod, there are improvements? what it really changes the pure android, performance, better battery or just theme?
It adds various features to stock android.Performance/battery depend on how stable the release is.For more info you could go to http://www.cyanogenmod.org/about
Modifications might bring about improvements, but they can also bring about bugs.
Well I think that depends on how long I need to wait before xposed could be used on lollipop
If it is in 3 month I think I will go with pure android

Moto X stock ROM is not pure Android or close to AOSP like Nexus Devices. Custom ROMs like CM (CyanogenMod) are closer to pure Android than the one that comes with this phone. CM is not AOSP either even on a Nexus, they use a lot of code from CAF (Code Aurora Forums) to work on a lot of different devices. You can't compile the Moto stock ROM from source like you can AOSP or CM. It might look like stock Android but it's definitely not. Even if you flash CM now you can always go back to stock using mfastboot.
I am on CM12 the last 6-7 days. I love it! Battery life in my case has improved. Maybe cause a few moto apps were consuming resources and now are not present. I know that voice control and active display are not working but the first I don't use and the for the second I have my moto 360 to catch my notifications. I suggest you to give it a go. CM12 runs very smooth on my moto x! I don't think I am going back to stock...
Sorry about the newbie question guys, but is there any way to get the Nougat SystemUI ported over to android 6.0.1? I feel like those of us who are sticking with Marshmallow would benefit form this. (mostly concerned about the quick toggles as they use up much less space on Nougat than on LP/MM
Hi
I'm new here. I recently got a Oneplus 3T (Midnight Black Edition). I am a huge fan of lineageOs. I was wondering if I flash los in Oneplus 3T, will everything work? I mean is there any known bug present?
Thanks for replying.
There was some bugs a year ago, but those have all been ironed out under the past year.
And the camera API problems can only be fixed by OnePlus, if only they would.

Sorry if this is a lame question, but the "camera API" problem as you mentioned means anything related to end user/ day-to-day camera usages? or this is more of a developer's headache? Simply asking if the camera will not work?

Camera will work. I think stock LOS has alright camera. Sultan's camera work makes the quality match OP's camera software but it lacks features such as 1080p60 or 720p120. Not sure if you can get those features if you use 3rd party cameras or not. Paranoid Android uses a custom camera driver that they create that makes the quality really good, but I never used the ROM myself.
