Themed aosp kk rom for gionee m2

This rom is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.​
ROM FEATURES-
Based on latest KK and it's almost bug free

Signal icon and ringtones from our hive rom
Fully deodexed /app, /priv-app, /framework for faster apps opening speed

Based on 4.4.2 AOSP
Due to inbuilt theming some xposed modules will show limited functionality,didn't checked all modules,but 95% will work
BUGS
Couldn't find any-if you found please inform me-i'll try to solve.
Due to inbuilt theming some xposed modules will not work properly-gravity box,xblast etc are working perfectly.
RAM usage is little high due to theme effect-but its smooth ,no lags

Installation Instructions
First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM or CTR.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
FIRST TAKE A CWM OR CTR BACKUP.
IF YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH MY ROM YOU CAN
ALWAYS GO BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS ROM.SO TAKE A FULL BACKUP FIRST
-Wipe all Data(System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache for wipe menu::::THIS STEP IS NECESSARY)
- Flash zip from SD Card
- Reboot

This is the stock ROM of elephone. The customization is inbuilt. I just inserted hive signal icon and a round battery icon.rest is completely stock

Can Some one Change the dialer please
ROM looks great otherwise and I am pretty sure will work as a charm. Can some post a ZIP to change the dialer to default or at least some other theme. This one looks so hideous. Just asking. Original Devs please dont mind !:good:

1. Bottom nav bar not working - if we enable it - system ui FC Solution- replace with l ui v2 system ui apk - but some good animation will lose .
2. Network speed indicator in GB not working- Solution- use from xblast Or internet speed monitor from play store Rest GB features working- not fully though (95% working)

Have just finished flashing this ROM.
I wish to state that the issue of camera not working for so many persons is peculiar to the newly released m2.
Upon upgrading to kitkat the camera and flash light will stop working

Play store not working
Excellent ROM. Love the UI.
But "Authentication is required. You need to sign in to your Google account" is the message i get on play store.
Any solution?

I'm sorting out some reasons for common problems
1.some force closes ,play store not working etc
Reason- do all wipes before installing the ROM.
Data, cache, system, dalvik
2. Camera not working
(Only for some 8gb)
All lib files from 4gb
So 8gb users may experience problems
Can't do anything, because we don't have 8gb lib files
But this problem is only for some 8gb users only
Rest 8gbs working fine
3.if you directly flash L UI on jb
Problems may occur
Better update to kk and flash
4. If some apps like play store not working ( very rare) clean data ,cache and try again

we will try to provide OTA updates to next versions

Some info about the rom
1.Theme manager apk is global one .So it'll not show chinese and paid themes.
2.Paid themes reverting back to default theme after 1 hour , it may be due to issues with wsm tools,so we removed default theme manager apk and provide global one. lots of themes in it too.
3.If you face low call volume , use MTK engineer mode to increase the volume (only try if your call volume is really Low)
Engineer Mode->Hardware Testing->Audio
From Audio ->Normal Mode
You'll see "Type"
increase "Max Vol" and "Value is" to 150 ( you can increase it upto 160)
do same with Sip,Mic,Sph,Sph2,Sid and Media
After changing values don't forget to press the set button every time.
After increasing these 6,your call volume will definitely increase
(if you face high volume , reduce all values to some other like 140 or other)
Flash Dolby ATMOS too. It also helps to increase call volume.
4.some themes may cause com.android.media force close error. change to other themes.
5.sign in using mi account ( create one using your mail ID, if you don't have one)
If you use wsm tools and its modules for bypassing sign in while downloading themes, it may revert back to default theme after some time. So create mi account and download and apply themes. All are free themes ,so there's actually no need for wsm tools though.

Dear ARGN TEAM I found a solution to 2nd Sim 3g switch issue, https://basketbuild.com/devs/deliopoulos/lcsh92_wet_jb9/, this is redmi note 3g build which has 3g switch, download appropriate version and extract telephoney-common.jar file from framework folder and replace it in deodexed Ported miui rom . Use dual Sim control app for 3g switch. I tested it upto v5.6.4 on our gionee m2, and it works flawlessly

Since no one ported latest build for m2,so I thought there is no use download from devbuild.com, so I didn't download it, but your team done it now . Meanwhile try to use previous version, also you can try to make a patch, it's all in RIL.SMALI file.

Upon clicking on Xposed from settings, it will force close and the SOLUTION IS TO INSTALL A FRESH XPOSED INSTALLER

What is happening here ? No one asked me permissions about all this update thing ? Is this modified cleankat rom or a new rom based on some aosp stock rom ? I don't want another rom with same name as my cleankat, i suggest you to change the name and identity of your rom, it's fine if you still keep cleankat as base and give proper credits, but really, change the name, this is not cleankat, i don't want people to see this as an update to cleankat, just change the name and write that your rom is based on cleankat, that will be good.

I have stated in the post whom full credit goes to and but please don't be offended.
I got the ROM from thinkers DEV BD and they gave me permission to port.
They must have modified your original ROM.
Once again, I tender my apologies.

Cleankat was my project and I don't want others to use it's name and reputation for promoting their rom, please change the name of your rom, you can't just change my things and increase the version number to post an update without my approval or permissions, correct way is to give another new name to your project and simply write in credits that your rom is based on cleankat.

I flashed this mod but after boot system ui is not working
I had flashed mod1 & mod2 also but in that when I tap on weather update from mystic settings its get unfortunately stopped.

minor problem with this rom, sound profiles and ringtone cannot be set by third party apps.....i get only the sound set in default settings application no matter what I choose in Audio Profiles or Sound Profiles app.....weird but it's a no go for me, otherwise good rom

This issue will be looked into.

Awesome ROM delighted
My Gionee m2 bricked while doing OTA update . I tried flashing the phone with Stock Gionee ROM but with little success. It was freezing at boot menu.After 3 days of intense effort I came across the Mystic Rom by Raj Shekhar. I could download the Rom with ease, the file size being half of the Stock Rom. Flashed my phone successfully after copying the ROM on Ext SD card. My phone came alive with the Wonderful "Mystic OS". The only hiccup was that the network error was coming.(imei error). I solved it by using "Mobile uncle MTK tool". Now the phone is running silk smooth , no bloatware, I can install only the apps I need, there is lot of internal storage and RAM free. Wonderful experience so far. Thank you Raj Shekhar for this wonderful Rom.

I hope you have solved the radio issue by now. If "Mobile uncle" is not showing the radio option then there is a desktop computer version of the app through which we can create a 'IMEI.bak" file. Then by pasting this .bak file on ext Sd or internal memory of the phone and through IMEI backup / restore option we can correct thie IMEI error.
