[Q] Q-Gmail Office 365 exchange attachment limit - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I need to remove the attachment size limit but not sure how. Has any one else ran into this and found a fix? I am rooted with a stock rom.
I see that I can add in the exchange service and the old exchange "Mail" app but would prefer not too unless I am forced.
What do you think?

Blacberry Connect on TILT Attachment Size Limit

I have tried searching!
Is there a fix to this? I can view any size attachment it's sending them im bound by the 32k limit. is there a reg fix or anything to get past this?
I am using the 1.62 (the newest rom) no bloatware
with the accompanying radio,
the newest version of blackberry and i have BES.
Thank you
good question i would like to find this out also but i think its a limit to the blackberry server itself...
Blackberry Connect is limited to 32KB attachments. One poor workaround is to forward the email to a pop3 account (ex. Yahoo mail) and then download it from that email account.
Sorry.
crap that sucks. Well at least i can download any size attachment. I guess i have to use my other account for sending
If you are using BB Enterprise Server the Attachment Limit is set on the Server. My limit is a message total of 2MB includign attachment.

That is true but there is also a 32Kb limit with the Blackberry Connect client. Unfortunately the server setting has no effect on this.
Speaking of BBC attachments...
Is there any way to allow anything other than "supported" file formats? Even if the attachment can't be viewed on the device, it should be allowed to be saved to another location such as a storage card.

Hey, how do you manage that? For my device (HTC Trinity with BB connect 4.0.0.90) the limit is also for downloads. Any hint for me?

What app to view PPT on Exchange email?

I got the officesuite pro 2.0 but still when I receive an email on my exchange account I am not able to download the power point attachment from the email.
Does anyone has figure a work around on this?
Thanks All!
The built in (and free) QuickOffice provides read-only access to ppt's.
I view then from my Exchange mail almost every day... no problems.
Can't edit though of course...

[Q] Email fix or alternate?

I use the supplied email handler in my ATT Captivate and seeing some issues recently. Any emails with any attachments will just sit loading forever and never truly display me the attached file. its doing this for both my hotmail and gmail accounts. Anyone know of an issue/fix or have another email handler to suggest that might be a lot friendlier to use then the stock one?
I too was disappointed with the stock email client. Take a look @ K-9 Mail in the market it's free
Sweet, downloading now
K9 is the ****. Used it from day 1 of owning my phone
Sent from my Captivate

Are you using Gmail to send attachments or what? Gmail limit is 25MB so gmail should work. Wifi doesn't effect that in any way, it's based on your email client.

hmmm could be the email app then, i'm not 100% sure.....never used it. Does it sync with your gmail account or do you have it set up through exchange or something. a lot of companies have a limit of 10 megs so that could be the issue.

that's the link where I found the size limit for gmail and if you are using the stock email app, you should ditch that and use the gmail app works awesome for me

Email app: send from different account

Hi,
I've noticed an issue with sending from different email accounts using the 'Email' app (not Gmail).
I have two Exchange accounts set up on my N7, however if I used the combined view and start composing an email I am unable to change which account the email will be sent from. Likewise if I am in the inbox for 'Account 1' then I am not able to choose 'Account 2' as the from account without coming out of the mail, switching inbox and starting a new email.
This is also a problem when using the 'share via email' capability of some apps, as I can't choose which account will do the sending.
Does anyone else have this issue?
This is also the same on my Gnex, so it's not specific to the device. Both are running stock unrooted 4.2.1

Of course. You also can't edit forwards or quoted text. This makes the stock Email client pretty useless to me.
While it would be nice to have an official Google email client that is worth a damn, in the meantime check out Aquamail.
