[Q] (LS995) Flashing Stock Rom Via Flashtool - LG G Flex

Hi,
I'm entirely new to xda, but just had a concern i wanted to address. I rooted my G Flex (ls995) with stump root. Then i installed CWM via freedom flex and booted into recovery. After factory resetting my device, I readily attempted to install the att zip, "attsprint" to try and allow my ls995 to work with at&t. It flashed alright and all, but when i rebooted my phone, it displayed a black screen. I got the standard "LG" logo and then the screen goes black. The only way i even know it's on is because the small LED light on the front of the device is alternating gradually between a green and light blue color. So from here i tried flashing a stock rom via LG's flashtool. (Downloaded Flash Tool, replaced 'MegaLock' file, acquired ls995 4.2.2 stock and started up the flashing tool on my PC running Windows 7) Everything appeared to be working well; i got my PC to recognize my device reading "ready." I then disconnected the USB and reconnected it 5s later (as instructed) only to find the following error message...
" PID: PT04S140219001376
IMEI: 990003560308013
Model: D950
DLL: LS995
BIN: LSS995ZV3_17.S3_17.P51098.TOT
SWV: LSS995ZV9_03
SWOV: LSS995ZV9_03
Device Model is different!
Check Phone or DLL!
00000000 "
I'm afraid that after flashing the attsprint rom, the flashing tool is recognizing my device as an att model g flex, which it is not. Be it whatever it may be, i would greatly appreciate any help the talented people on this forum could throw my way.
Thanks Again,

[Q] Mobile Network State "Disconnected".

After rooting my LG Optimus 2X and installing CM7 as directed via the instructions my phone failed to bot up the new rom correctly, it just froze at the CM7 intro startup video of the blue character. I then tried to implement the recovery of the backup I made before installing the rom through rom manager in the boot recovry screen, but after applying the recovery to the original stock rom that too also froze at the start up screen so I found some instructions to then take out the battery and connect to a PC via USB which I then had to download and reinstall stock firmware which was successful and the phone is fully operational. I can produce and recieve calls/sms/etc but it is unable to connect to to any network to enable me internet access even though it worked an hour before ****ing my phone up in the the "about phone" info it says "Not Roaming" and Mobile Network State "Disconnected". even with full bars. Could this be cause by installing stock firmware from a different country or firmware intended for a locked phone?
I am with 3(three) in Australia on a $49 Plan but bought the phone outright/unlocked from an authorized dealer.
Any help and insight would be great. Cheers.

Horrible Mistake, Need Help Fixing

Hey guys, so recently I decided to unlock the bootloader of my Moto G (XT1064), and flash a custom ROM.
I unlocked the bootloader, all good. Here's where the problem kicks in.
When I flashed the new ROM, I forgot to create a backup of my Stock. So essentially, I have no way of returning the phone to what it used to be.
Now, I'm on Paranoid Android, and my phone is getting absolutely no service. I try ADB and Fastboot, and both say that no devices are found.
I'm also on Wind Mobile. I tried using some tool I found online to revert me back to stock 4.4.4, and it worked, but I still had no signal.
I noticed something between the two times I had no signal. I hold my power button, and it says airplane mode is on. However, I am still able to connect to wifi.
When I press the Airplane Mode button, the button greys out and I can't click it anymore, and I still dont have signal.
I tried *#*#4636#*#*, and I'm unable to turn on my radio from there. I set it to GSM Auto, and it doesnt stay when I reboot.
Please reply fast, I really need to be able to use my phone. Thanks.
Are you downgrading?
I think that could be the issue

I found a Reddit post that brought back my service. I used the RETCA version as I'm in Canada. It brought my phone service back, but sadly enough I can't upgrade back up to Android 5.0.2. I'm stuck on 4.4.4.

Stock retail canada 5.0.2 lollipop - flash via Easy Installer below its not for TWRP or OTA update methods of updating... this is stock OEM motorola so you will get future OTA updates and (should) be able to flash straight up from 4.4.4 using this Easy Installer for Lollipop (no firmware included) - read instructions inside..

LG optimus black p970 problems flashing ICS Rom

Hi guys,
I am having problems flashing LG optimus black with ICS Rom. My current android version is 2.2.2 and is distributed by French Company SFR.
As I am aware of flashing procedures with other phone models, I used standard flashing procedure from LG website, extracting tool. However, during update (which normally downloads the file from server) the operation halts at 14 % which asks me to unplug the device, remove battery, re-plug and go on. I switch android flashing mode by pressing volume up and plugging it with usb cable. All drivers are loaded OK. It did not work.
I used the offline flashing procedure (by LG Flash Tool 2014), downloaded ICS ROM for SFR devices, and the issue is again the same.
Note that some flashing tools refused to upgrade as they indicated that the phone has the latest version, which happened in LG websites for other countries. This to me is in contradiction with what LG has introduced for this device, the ICS stock rom for SFR.
Then I went with smart flash tool which in fact converts KDZ file into two files used by this tool to flash, while during flashing operation it halted at 16 % saying that there is an error in flashing procedure. WHAT'S WORSE is that it deactivated my sim network, but the rest of android works normally.
As you see I did all these operations and would want some advice in re-activating (flashing) my sim network and any good method in successfully flashing the ICS ROM.
Thanks,
Albert
Try to use SmartFlash Tool from here: www.mediafire.com/download/7p10s9q9jsjsxq8/SmartFlashTool_External.rar, you can see how to use it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448803

Optimus L90 Unable to Root, Unable to boot into recovery mode

Hi
I have gone through the forums and can't seem to find solution for my problem with my Optimus L90 phone.
I have recently flashed the CM13 on my phone without any errors but below are the issues that I am facing
1. No cellular network signal after inserting SIM card.
2. I read in a different forum that this could happen due to using a wrong version of TWRP, so installed a newer version 2.8.7.0 but things worse.
3. Now I am not able to boot into recovery mode and phone just stays idle with the LG logo screen and few commands appearing like fastboot_iniy() and udc_start().
4. I have tried hard reset and soft reset and both are not successful.
5. I cannot root my phone either. Tried all ways like towelroot, purpledrake, lg root by avicoh etc but in vain
Now my phone, even though has a latest CM version I cannot use it for anything else.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
No SIM is hardly related to TWRP, probably you needed a different bootstack (there is a thread about it).
On CM you don't need anything to root, it's already rooted just not visible to common users, you need to activate Developer Options (it's also explained elsewhere)
Finally, if you cannot reach recovery but still can boot CM13 simply use adb, Flashfy or Hashr to flash another version or TWRP. 2.8.7 is kinda old and not recommended for Marshmallow, you can try 3.0.2 by SlimShady or DarkBlue version from shoxxy's thread.
Thanks for the reply, let me try options you have specified and get back if I am still facing issues

I was able to unblock my phone finally and loaded the stock ROM but the phone is still isn't recognizing cellular network . I am on T-MOBILE. I have tried to insert different SIM, turned off wifi calling but still the phone is not catching any cellular network.
[lfom]: you indicated earlier that a different bootstack might be needed. I am not that knowledgeable about bootstack so can you help me through this or point me to different thread where users might have a similar issue.
Sorry, I meant to say unbrick above
Everything one needs or wants to know about bootstack is here:

Hi,
I followed the steps mention in the above thread to change the bootstack and was able to complete it without any issues, however the problem still persists and my phone is not recognizing the SIM and does not catch the cellular network.
Previously I used to use this phone with my t-mobile number and after I took a new phone haven't been using it for sometime. I want to sell this phone and was trying to ensure that it works fine and thats when I saw that the phone is not catching any cellular networks.
Please help. Let me know if you need any other details to better diagonize the problem.

You didn't say what model you have, maybe you flashed the wrong bootstack for your model (hardware version)? Be very careful, you can hart brick your device, and if it's a D415 it's very hard to unbrick. I'd suggest that first you make sure what model you have by removing the battery and looking in the label below, it says what model you have. Then, use LG Flash Tool to flash stock ROM (KDZ) to latest KitKat, then flash Lollipop or use OTA to update to latest version. The only requirements are that you make sure what model you have and flash the corresponding version, and the phone is still able to enter download mode.

[lfom]: thank you for responding. My phone model is LG-D415 . Actually my phone was bricked but I was able to get into download mode and then I used the L90 Hardbrick tool to flash stock ROM (KDZ) to latest kitkat like you have specified above. Then with the OTA update I was able update it to latest lollipop. Then I followed this forum below to to change the bootstack to KK 10C version as the issue specified in the below thread was similar to mine.

Image of the label inside my phone attached.
Do you think I should have used the LG flash tool to flash stock ROM. Should I repeat the steps with the LG flash tool ?
Thank you again for helping me on this.
Do you see your IMEI in the about phone page? Does it match the one in the label? Maybe when you bricked you've lost the phone's IMEI, and you can't get it back just flashing ROM...

Yes I checked and it matches. There two fields IMEI which has the number and then there is another field which says IMEI SV and it has a value of 02 in it.

Soft brick update custom rom to stock 6.0.1

I have a SM-G900V that was on a custom 4.4.4 ROM. I'm selling the phone and wanted to give a stock but updated phone to the guy.
I downloaded the latest for 6.0.1 for the Verzion G900V and flashed it in Odin. It got a write fail. I tried again and it went further but then got another write fail.
Now when I try to boot the phone it goes to Software update failed error. I can boot again by long holding the power button. The phone is still recognized in Odin.
The bootloader was unlocked
The emmc was 15.
The build number of the custom ROM was: Build: KTU84P- G900VRU1ANI2
I'll keep searching for a solution but the guy I'm selling the phone to is freaking out so any and all help would be much appreciated.
update
I tried flashing the same build as what was on the phone AN12 and it failed with an Auth fail error in Odin. I did some research and saw that could be a CSC problem. I tried using Kies because I read you can find the CSC code that way. I couldn't get Kies to 'talk' to the phone. It saw that a phone was connected but it wouldn't created the connection. I tried firmware recovery but I need the serial number and Samsung in its infinite wisdom doesn't put the serial number on the sticker inside the phone (at least it doesn't on US Verizon).
It's a phone from Verizon (originally bought on contract) in the US and I have been using US Verizon downloads from either updato or sammobile (for the 4.4.4)
I could realy use some help. I'd like not to bork the phone by just trying hail mary solutions.
