You can post AS MANY times as you like, including posting many replys after each other.
ONLY 1 NUMBER PER REPLY IF YOU WANT TO DO MORE, POST MORE REPLYS!
For the first 10 use 0 before your number to make it over the 2 character minimum.

Junior member is the lowest i think, (correct me if i'm wrong), then member, then senior member, then moderator (something that you have to get from site administrator, not posts), and lastly Administrator (the creater/owner of the site). Basically its ranking based on how many posts you have. (excluding moderator, and admin)

I understand the need to keep spam to a minimum and such, but come on, just because I don't post a reply to every thread doesn't mean I'm not a decent person...
1. Can't post in dev forums, this annoys me, mainly because I do develop for android...
2. Can't even post links without having posted 8 posts...

Me too. I wonder if they can make it so you need only 5 posts to be able to post on the dev discussion. 10 is a bit of a lot and it forces you to post things just for the sake of posting them.
they don't want people starting threads in development. unfortunately it causes you to not be able to reply in a thread. 10 comes quickly. answer some questions, contribute to the community, and you will have many posts

You only need 10 posts to post in the development sections. You can post in all the other sections.
This is to stop people creating threads in the development forums before they have familiarised themselves with the site a bit more. This means that the development forums are not cluttered with rubbish that mods have to move, and that we members can find our way round a lot easier.
Feel free to participate in the general and Q&A forums to build up both your knowledge and post count. Then, if you have anything to contribute (in the way of development) you can post in the correct place.

OT is not the right section for you to get your 10 posts. Help some user in general sections if you want to those.
You're post count has been reset. That usually happens when people post every 5 to 10 minutes just so they can get 10 posts in a hurry.
Instead of trying to only post in the OT section, try and make meanful and useful posts elsewhere on the site. This can be achieved by either helping other users, asking questions, posting useful comments, etc. Please stop posting just for the purpose of getting in 10 posts.
