Its been 20 days I bought this phone(MMX Canvas Turbo A250). It hanged suddenly while using Messenger/Whatsapp. The display didnt got off and continuosly showing the same time. I googled this and tried holding the Power button & Volume key for few seconds. Then the display went off. But after that, its not restarting/switched off. I am unable to use the mobile. Even if I press the Power/Volume keys, its not getting ON. The display is completely not working. When I gave a call to this mobile number, it tells "Unreachable". So the mobile is not yet Switched off too.
Can anybody help me on this... Without using mobile, I am almost a handless...

Hi Guys,
I have a frustrating situation whereby my Galaxy Note powers on but the screen appears to be in permanent sleep mode - I get nothing but black on the screen.
You can here the Samsung chime as the phone powers up, I can adjust the volume button and hear audible tones. I can also call the mobile from another phone so the underlying phone/OS is working fine.
I can also connect the device via Kies USB and copy images/music with no issues.
I have tried removing the battery and replacing, I have also tried giving the device a full charge however I still get nothing on the screen.
Does anyone know if it's possible to perform some kind of hardware reset to get the screen to power back on? If not I guess i'll need to return the unit
p.s. Stock Galaxy Note
Thanks v much
Jeremy
Same problem for me , i have test many ROM and kernel but i still get the black screen. it's generally when i haven't use my phone during a couple hours.
Same issue here. The screen remains black and not responsive to front button or power button. I still am able to hear notifications (e.g. calendar reminders, plug in power, etc.).
Long press of power button to reboot is the only solution I have found in order to clear.
First occurrence yesterday after owning note for 1 month.
Second occurrence today.
Stock device. No root. KL7.
No newly installed apps prior to first occurrence. I will cross-check to see if any apps updated yesterday.
I have also disabled Green Power.
guys i have been owning note since past 45 days
and suddenly i faced the same problem today
when phone is in sleep and i receive a notification and press the home button
to wake the phone
i see only a black screen with a minute pink dot at top right
and the phone wont respond
however pressing the power button it brings the menu to switch and etc
so i can select power off and then again switch on the phone
guys this is frustrating
please help

This morning, a housemate's well-charged Motorola RAZR XT 910 froze and turned off. It has not turned on since. She found it a little wet on the inside, something which we can only explain as an effect of the humidity, as she takes great care of her phone. We carefully pried the screen apart to dry it out, and managed that with no trouble. We broke nothing, as far as hardware is concerned, but it still didn't work.
After it turned off, it turned on a red light. Later on, the light was a blinking red one. When the phone was connected to the computer, it turned on a white one as usual. Other than that, it has done nothing.
We've tried reboots soft and hard, as the phone had been freezing frequently (apparently a common problem), specifically the following:
pressing the power button for 30 seconds
pressing the power button and volume up (+) button for 10 seconds
pressing the power button and volume down (-) button for 10 seconds
pressing the power button, volume up (+) and volume down (-) for 10 seconds
None of them have worked so far, and all have been tried multiple times. Another trick I've read about is to remove the SIM card for about 5 minutes before replacing it and trying to turn on your phone. No luck with that, either. Does anybody have any suggestions on what else we could try?
XT 910 != RAZR i

what country are you in?
@craftyguy: Sorry. This subforum was the one returned by the forum's search engine. I'm not very familiar with the line of products. Which forum should I have posted this in? The other ones I see are the Droid RAZR forums. Are those it? Do we have to call a moderator to move this thread, or is there some tool for doing that I'm not noticing?
@alpha beta gaga: I'm in Puerto Rico. The phone's user spends plenty of time inside air conditioners, which is how we came up with the explanation.
Hi All,
I have HTC salsa, few months its Power button stop working on gentle press and now its totaly gone.
And if I left my phn switched off after 20 24 hrs. its starts automatically..if I remove its battery and re insert it, phone starts automatically.
I go to service center but he said that button is connected to mother board thus whole mother board will be replaced and it will cost some 90 $.
So is there anyone who can help me or faced any such issue?
one more consiquence of this problem is that if my phone's gone in sleep mode then its ring become active and the only way to get the screen is either I have to call on ,y number or plug in the charger.
So is there any app which can disble that ring.
Phone is running on Original rom nothing special treatment is provided to it and I cant do anything on it as I dont have PC connectivity for that mobile.
Please help me.
Thanks

Any Help I could recieve,Or else Should I just get it replaced by flipkart?

EDIT: I just contacted the motorola support and fixed it and if anyone else is facing with the problem here is the solution
HOLD DOWN THE POWER AND VOLUME DOWN BUTTON FOR TWO MINUTES I MEAN LIKE LEGIT TWO MINUTES AND THEN NORMAL REBOOT THE DEVICE FROM THE FAST BOOT MENU.
Change the topic and add solved please
My Phone is neither turning on, nor charging since last night. I am on stock firmware with no changes at all. {moto g 2nd gen locked bootloader , unrooted} purchased 10 days ago.
I tired following things but it didnt work:
Charging Phone using stock charger (4hours) - no response
Charging with other charger, as well as other socket. - no response
Pressed power button for 10 sec (forced start) -no response
Pressed volume down key for 2-3 seconds n power simultaneously (external reset) - no response
Volume Down and Power Down together for exactly 2 minutes - no response
Charging using laptop usb - no response
no response at all from phone (complete dead)
Any help or suggestions please.....
Update: raised complaint to flipkart, dey hav assured replacement within 10days (5days pickup - 5 days new phone delivery.
Have it replaced and go contact motorola they can help you in this thing.... Best suggestion is to have it replaced...
@Mohdsultan I hav raised a ticket for return to flipkart, but really cant find the cause for it..
@spypsy I think the battery is dead and call Flipkart they will do it a little early... and what did you do when the phone was last open?
I think one of the post in this forum said that holding Volume Down and Power Down together for exactly 2 minutes solved this problem.
I had what sound like the same issue. Tried ask the power with volume buttons etc.
What worked was to plug into my laptop, not a charger. It was slow to charge but it worked
Sent from my XT1068 using XDA Free mobile app
@pleomaxell i tired it just now but didnt work
@gmlogan kept for charge using lappy , let see what happens in a hour, notification light doesnt seem to light up

Well if they were kids then I think they messed up with some settings or something or it could be just a battery dead... If u help please press the thanks button....
Battery ws around 56% .
If I were you, after trying all the Vol & Power key combinations, I'd disassemble the device, remove the battery and charge the battery via an external power supply (an elimeter maybe).
Wouldn't mind the warranty! [emoji6]
BTW: What's the status on your device? Is it dead still? Or did you get it replaced?
Is this fixed?I am waiting for the result.....
Same problem with 15day old moto g 2nd and now Solved
I too facing the sameproblem and when conected to pc its showing qhusb_bulk..what should i do.already registerd a complaint on fligkart.
OK didi anyone tried to connect to PC..when i tried it shows qhusb_bulk and driver installition failure,so i turbned off the signature verification mode by
reset the PC, and press F8 during the boot sequence (just after POST, but before the Windows loading logo), which opens up the Advanced Boot Options list, and choosing the Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. ( orginal for 1st gen MOTO G http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2623587).
Now the PC detects the MOTO and shows installing ADB drivers and start showing Battery at 0%..
press power and vol down and in the boot menu check the battery status .if its showing "Empty battery in red blinking" this procedure may works
i now plugged it to carger and now its charging......
thanks to all posts i read about moto G and G 2nd edition..i dont remember ones other than Boss442.cuz i was reading panicly

Sorry, i already send it back yesterday. But i doubt if charging would be enough. My moto had restarted a few times in the last days so i better let them check it.
@StaticBlaze m sure ders sum hardware issue , so i didnt do anything.
I have tried external reset options , also phone isnt charging as well.
I had raised the complaint to flipkart n dey agreed to replace the handset with brand new one. Waiting for pickup since past 2 days.
Finally after 3rd pickup delay from flipkart, raised online complaint on twitter n got new phone in 2 days. Though i had to ship d faulty one myself to their warehouse.
Finally matter settled.
