Check it's applied in dialer *#1234#
I will be uploading Modems as well shortly

Quick question is AP or CP the modem version?
I'm looking forward to passing on the telstra files to my custom rom
Hmm I flashed the telstra csc but it still shows the same with *#1234# but the baseband matches what it should be

Can u plz do these for Note 4 N910C XME malaysia CSC ....plz i want csc flashable file....
Whats the differences between these CSC's?
XSA is the bebranded one you purchase outright from Harvey Norman. TEL is the telstra CSC on telstra branded phones includes telstra branding on boot up and shutdown. I however removed branding on telstra CSC to reduce size. The telstra model also runs a different modem to the XSA variant
-= Note 4 & Gear VR =-
Both however will work and if you have telstra be sure to flash telstra modem too
-= Note 4 & Gear VR =-
i have two note 4's and have NO IDEA what they came with stock actually, as i got both second hand.
i've updated both to the latest telstra modems previously, but that didnt change much.

wondering if i flash the telstra csc and use it on optus would mms be the same ?
It would use telstra apn settings from csc. All aussies better off using XSA csc and correct modem per your operaters firmware. XSA csc has all Australian providers APNS and no branding.

I am vietnamese ,I like europe roms , but It haven't CSC in vietnamese , I need to have vietnamese in europe rom . Can anybody help to me ?
First you need to get the CSC folder for your country (i.e. TGY for Hong Kong in my case) under the system csc folder. (so you need to have rooted the phone). Copy it to your SDcard (or transfer it to your phone if you have another way to obtain the csc folder, i.e. you may extract the csc folder from any vietnam rom without actually flashing it to your phone)
after that, flash the europe rom.
When the europe rom is ready, copy back the your country csc folder to your system from SDcard.
Type *#06# to obtain the IMEI code on your phone. Write it down.
Type *#272*[IMEI]# to choose the csc you would like to install.
I am not sure but some data maybe lost after you install the csc. so probably you need to have backup first.

Thank you very much to HKcow
If I copy the csc folder into my phone, does it matter if the modem is not from my country? For example, some euro roms have XXKK5, my official country modem is DXKJ3, would loading a Asian CSC have any problems with a Euro Modem?

As I was lazy to flash stock rom back to get CSC from /system/csc folder, this is what I did.
I downloaded the latest official rom for my country, then used mobile odin to flash. Copy your required official rom tar file to your phone, select the official rom tar file and only flash hidden.img and cache.img, that would add your countries csc in. Then use the csc code to change to your required csc. For me was XSP for Singapore, for Vietnam you'll need to find out which code it is for you.

Do not post questions in Development, use Q&A!
My dad got me a Note 9 from the middle east (exynos, dual sim). Its Active CSC is KSA. I live in Canada and have been using it without any issues for the past few months. I was also able to recently update it to Pie since KSA is part of the OXM multi-csc.
I don't see an option for WiFi Calling, don't have VoLTE, and can't use Samsung Pay. I've been reading around for a few months now trying to wrap my head around all things Samsung (since this is my first Samsung phone...). I understand that this is due to my phone having KSA as the active CSC and being used in Canada? My provider (Rogers) has confirmed that they have WiFi calling activated on my line.
I was hoping someone could point me the right direction if there is any solution to this? There is no dual-sim version in Canada so I assume flashing some other Canadian firmware won't work (as it would be for a single-sim model).
Change CSC in THL. Follow the guide carefully:

Thanks for the information. I'm wondering what CSC am I changing the phone? Canada is not part of the OXM Multi-CSC? The Canadian versions are also single-sim not DS. Can I use the method to change the CSC to a Canadian carrier's CSC and then still flash the Multi-CSC firmware?
You have Note 9 exynos variant, so you have nothing to lose . Because you will be in the same situation as the first time when you put the sim. If you change CSC ( THL) you will have wificall and volte and native call recording. That's what I did. The only difference is the sim , and I do not think it influences anything.
Dial *#1234# to find current firmware details.
ATTENTION! : after installing PIE Do NOT start the first setup with SIM. It changed the CSC back with sim!!!

Ok - So I went through the process. I used RealTerm and changed the CSC to XAC (Canada, unbranded). Note that this is not part of the OXM Multi-CSC. After everything was done, the phone defaulted to XEU (United Kingdom). Trying the method again with SIM card inserted before restart didn't change this outcome. However, this whole time I was using the XSG (UAE) firmware to update the phone.
I will now try again with the THL firmware and hope that it works!
I'm assuming Samsung Pay will still be unavailable?
Samsung Pay will be available for unroot knox= 0x0! And Caller ID and spam protection.
Thanks for all your help so far. Things that I've learned so far:
1) Changing the CSC through the method you shared didn't really work when it was outside of the OXM Multi-CSC. For example, I tried changing CSC to RWC (Rogers, Canada) or XAC (Canada, Unbranded). When I did this and flashed any of the latest SM-N960F firmware (whether XSG, DBT, or THL) -- the device would default to XEU (United Kingdom). I'm assuming this is happening because the manually set Canadian CSC doesn't exist within the OXM multi-csc.
2) I tested this out by setting the CSC to THL and flashing the THL firmware. This time it did indeed change to THL firmware. Unfortunately, things like WiFi Calling and VoLTE were still not available. Samsung Pay worked - but didn't let me add any Canadian cards.
Rooting is obviously not an option on this phone due to tripping knox. Maybe sometime down the road someone can figure it out.
Or you can try to change for SM-N960W model.

SM-960W is the Snapdragon single-sim variant. I feel worst case it will fry the phone. Best case, I'll lose the dual-sim capability..
Have u tried installing the Canadian csc going into recovery wiping cache and then doing a reset from there? Then reboot with your Canadian sim only installed (no other sim or second sim if dual). Usually this triggers the correct csc code

Seems like the only way to do that would be to root the device since there is no SM-N960F in Canada -- only SM-N960W. So all the Canadian firmware is for SM-N960F. My understanding is that I would have to root the device and then change the CSC based on this discussion:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...960n-n960u-n960u1-n960w-n9600-t3833721/page18
If I follow the method explained earlier by changing CSC with RealTerm -- the device rejects the the Canadian CSC (e.g. XAC or RWC) and defaults to XEU (which is part of the OXM mutli-csc).
you can't flash a different model firmware with odin

Would I be using THL for T-Mobile in USA as well? I have SM-N960F D/S phone running Android Pie.
No. Not for T-Mobile.
I've already read a bunch of forums on this and finally got into the ims settings but they all say "false" Is there any way with or without root to enable the settings. If I do have to root it, what do I do after to activate these features? The phone has the T-Mobile boot animation and receives T-Mobile software updates. I'm using it on MetroPCS. If I switched to T-Mobile would the features work then? My last phone was a locked T-Mobile S8 and that worked fine on MetroPCS with all the features. Thank you.

I'm guessing the phone started on AT&T firmware, and was not correctly moved to TMB. XAA means U1 fw (att + tmb are U). You're using Frankenstein software, suppose that's part of the problem. If you flash the Tmobile fw with your SIM inserted it should fix that.

This was originally an ATT device. That's what the 3rd CSC Code tells you. It can't be changed, but it also doesn't affect anything.
My guess is someone flashed this to the N960U1 firmware, and then just flashed the T-Mobile CSC file. Probably to get back RCS texting or Video calling. But it left you with Frankenstein firmware.
Just flash a full T-Mobile firmware through ODIN. Use the CSC_OYN file, not the HOME_CSC file. Flash all five files. It will force a factory reset, but should get you back on the full T-Mobile firmware.
If it goes right, you'll end up with TMB/TMB/ATT. which is what I also have.

Flash it with Odin normally, insert any UK SIM card, do a factory reset and it will automatically change to BTU.

Hello, I live in Korea.
The phone you use is Galaxy samsung galaxyS10 5G(SM-G977N)
But there's a problem.
I'd like to change the CSC.
The CSC currently in use is LUC.
I would like to change the CSC to KOO in Korea.
However, the firmware of the KOO model was put in AP,BL,CP,CSC,USERDATA and it does not change.
Is there any way?
Please give me a good answer.

Saudi doesn't have 5G yet, of course it won't connect to something that do not exist.
